The team is proud of their products - as they should be. They take time to describe their products, how they are made and how they can be used. When we mentioned a flavored product that we had somewhere else, one team member quickly went to create a Mission version with their Rum. It was delicious! The tasting room is comfortable and inviting. We had never been to Millville before. It is a charming town and Mission Spirits is brilliant asset for the community. We look forward to returning and seeing what new things they're doing.

Not only can you have a taste of them straight, but also enjoy them in a thoughtfully crafted cocktail. Hammonton is famous for being the "Blueberry Capital of the World" and Blue Rascal uses the local blueberry varieties to bring flavor to their creations. There are a couple of spaces to choose from to sit and when the weather is nice, the big front window opens up to allow for a scenic view and more counter seating. Reservations are recommended at this popular place and you can bring your own food, when they do not have their pop-up grill menu. I had hoped for a history lesson, some explanation of their process and how the various liquors are sourced and prepared. Just menus and explanation of the two available tasting flights. Husband chose #2 with whiskeys, bourbons and rums. I chose #1 with vodka, rum and gin selections. I will say his Whitecap old fashioned taster was pretty yummy. I really did like tasting the chocolate and espresso vodka, a mini martini in a thimble! And the Rusted Revolver gin was so floral, the botanicals were like nothing I have tasted before! But when it came time to order a full drink, I didn't want a standard martini. I chose the lemon meringue fizz, with more of that fabulous gin, lemon curd and lemon juice in a frothy concoction. It was divine! Spouse chose a dirty soda, the Dr. Pitney with Dr Pepper, cherry, cream and whiskey. It packed a punch and didn't taste boozy. Whipped cream and a Bordeaux cherry on top! Yum!
