What can I really say about Jersey Mike's that hasn't already been said? I've hit up so many different locations, and every time I go, I try a different sandwich. Today I went with the #8 Club Sub. It's a cold sandwich with turkey, ham, provolone cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and mayo. And of course, I had it done Mike's Way, so you know it had that oil and vinegar with the spices, and yeah... it was amazing. The staff here was warm and friendly. I even asked the girl behind the counter if I could take pics while she made my sandwich. I told her I was doing a Yelp review and she smiled and asked, "Is it a good one or a bad one?" I laughed and said, "A good one, obviously." So if you're thinking about where to grab a good sandwich, come check out this spot. I've enjoyed Jersey Mikes for many many years. I usually order the sub in a tub or aka salad with double meat. I placed a online pick-up order for the closest location with unfortunately was this one. I picked up the sealed bag and when came home, I couldn't believe my eyes. A pinch of $0.30 worth of lettuce and a few small pieces of turkey. More than half of the container was EMPTY. I called and spoke to a manager that explained, it was double meat just rolled up so I couldn't tell... Not true , I order the same item from 3 different locations and they were all the same... just this location makes it a different way ? Which may I add franchises of big chain restaurants are not allowed to alter the menu items, specifically cuttings portions in half. Instead of doubling , when a customer pays for double meat. The only thing that makes sense is that. It must have been opposite day at jersey mikes and nobody told me. 2018 update: the sandwiches got smaller. See my pic of my hand next to their REGULAR (not the small) size sandwich. I love Italian Subs. I used to eat them with my Dad when I was a kid. I have them from all the local places, whichever is most convenient to my plans on any given day. This Jersey Mike's is fine. The food and the staff are fine. I should state that my company used to buy lunch for all of our employees for years. We stopped a couple of years ago. So I have had my share of subs from this location over many years. My only complaint about Jersey Mike's is that it seems to me that sometime in the past 2-3 years, the sandwich sizes got smaller. Significantly smaller. This being the only Jersey Mike's location that I have ever eaten at, I don't know if this is a location thing or a corporate decision, but I assume the latter. Easy and quick for the kid - although for $9 a sandwich you sure can get more nutritious food. What grossed me out to no end though is that I ordered a small veggie sandwich to sit with the kids eating huge sandwiches- and the guy sliced my cheese right on top of the ham he had been slicing! Disgusting! So gross! They have the wherewithal to have gluten free bread but not a separate slicer for meat and cheese??? Seriously!!! Nasty!!! Unenthusiastic employees with a high level of incompetence. How does a made to order sandwich place make your sandwich wrong? When I asked why my 10 dollar sandwich was 17 dollars I was told that's what I ordered and that is why was due.
