First I have been a fan of Subway for years and appreciated the value and quality that it brought to our family for years so it is unfortunate what I experienced in this particular store. To start the man behind the counter was rude to the customer in front of me who was speaking loud as a result of poor hearing (wearing an easily visible hearing aid) and also pushing a person in a wheel chair. I ordered Italian Artisan Bread and a kids meal with French bread. The sandwiches were made with stale, obvious day old, hard French Bread. The woman at the register was nice. Bottom line the meals were not eatable because of the stale bread. I won't be back at this location. read more

The staff is not friendly or welcoming. They always act as if you're bothering them to do their job. And don't bother them to help you with anything like coffee being out or help with the subway app issue because they are rude! Never coming back, I had this experience already with them 3 times, figured I would get a different experience going at different times of the day and week. I showed up at 8am today for work, didn't gave time to eat breakfast so i ordered from here. after starving for almost 2 for food, i open my food to take a bite. When splitting the sandwich in half to start eating i noticed a string of plastic in my food. I removed it and, although i was hesitant to eat the sandwich at all after that, i did because i was starving. It tasted very mediocre and there was almost no cheese at all. very unimpressed and grossed out that i had to eat a sandwich after finding plastic in it. Great location near my work! The staff has always been friendly and the service has always been decent as well. I like going there in the morning so I can grab either something for breakfast or grab something for lunch. During lunch time this place gets pretty packed. Small Subway with polite staff. There was quite a long line when I arrived a little after 1pm. My friend who was waiting for me said the line was even longer 10 minutes prior. That seems like a long lunch rush to me. The line moved fairly smoothly and my salad came out just as I'd ordered it. The only trouble was between sandwiches being toasted and some not being toasted, my friend's sandwich got mixed up with someone elses and he almost got something totally different than he ordered. He was operating on too little sleep and I was the one who caught it. They were trying to keep the sandwiches lined up with the customers but didn't get it so right during my visit. The restaurant was clean and there were small patio tables outside for additional seating in nice weather (which it always is here in Westlake Village). 3-4 tables inside - not big, but my friend and I snagged one so I'm happy. read more

I'm very disappointed in this location. I was in there recently and did not care for the ploy that the manager or owner, or whomever thought it up is doing. I didn't bother with coupons in the past, but now that I've been in a huge financial rut due to loss of a job with the Covid situation, I now need to be careful. Well, i stopped in after a few errands one afternoon, and nothing was posted outside at the door (which would be helpful). By the time it was my turn to order, there was the notice, no coupons being accepted anymore -- aha, I thought, trying to be sneaky, are they? They make the customer wait until just before they order, then almost too late. Probably so they won't feel dumb or embarrassed and change their mind. Not me, I was bugged, so I left. it was worth paying full price down the street, and needless to say, I or my family won't be going back there. read more

Probably one of the cleanest and most sanitary Subways I've ever been to. You know the menu and what you are going to get, right? At this location, it's the little things that made the difference. We needed to grab sandwiches after the kids practice (around 7:30pm on a Thursday). I could not help but notice how fresh the ingredients looked (and tasted). Staff were friendly and had a great sense of humor. They were also pretty patient dealing with a family of 4 trying to order different things. This location gets my seal of approval. read more

The staff at this location is worth driving past the Moorpark Rd location (where service is poor). Always friendly and get the same 2 workers every week, not the high turnover of workers like some locations. I'm not sure what the names are but it's a gentleman and a friendly lady who always are ready to serve with a smile. read more

The staff here is super friendly and they remember us every week; it's always nice to have that touch of personal service. I just wish the guy with the beard would wear a beard net when he's making sandwiches. When he's at the register it's not a big deal, but I won't have lunch there if he's the sandwich artist. Ordered simple sandwich using online app. Arrived at 2:15 which was quoted time to pick up sandwich. Walked inside and the staff looked up at me as he was making a sandwich. I sat there for a few minutes and he started to make another. I saw a sign that stated if you ordered online, you could call the telephone number and they will walk it out curbside which was where I was parked. I called the number and told whoever picked up my name for the order and they I was now curbside. In response, they gave me their address and hung up. I called back and again gave them my name for the order and informed them I was curbside. I'm response, he told me I need to place an order online first. I told them I did. They told me I need to come into the store to get it. I told them I was just in their store. They hung up on me. I walked into the store again and the employee told me they've been waiting for me with the sandwich the entire time. LOL. Lastly, sandwich was flat like a pancake, dry with no mayo (Online option for extra was requested by me) almost no mustard, no red wine vinegar as requested and no salt & pepper as requested. I've been to others but this one is consistently clean, fast, and the sandwiches satisfy me both in flavor and amount of food (I know there is a set amount of meat and cheese they can use, but the extras always give me plenty of veggies to satiate me). There are some friendly staff there, but unfortunately the few times I've been there it's usually a rude woman that helps me. The last time I was there was after I had placed an online order. My order was ready a few minutes after my pick up time had passed, but they were busy so I didn't really mind. Upon checking my order when I got home, I noticed dressings and toppings I had ordered were missing, and my sandwich was not toasted like I had requested either.
