I have been to Jersey Mike's so many times that I feel like I should be a part owner in the business. I love both their hot and cold subs, and I feel like they put more meat on their subs in comparison to other restaurants. I rotate between the turkey and provolone sub which is a cold sub (#7), the cheesesteak (#17 Mike's Famous Philly) and the Chipotle Cheese Steak (#43) depending on my mood. I highly recommend getting the Cherry Pepper Relish on the side for both the hot and cold subs. It's really good, but I like getting it on the side so I can control the amount on the sub (it has a kick to it). 4.5 stars. I got sick and tired of the disgusting ineptitude at the other Jersey Mike's within Kalamazoo/portage. I order large catering from this place, probably once a month all the subs are labeled all the condiments requests, etc. are there it's a very well-run business and they treat you with respect. It used to be great. Thought I would give it another shot and I wasted my time and money once again. The pricing is outrageous for what you get. The employees are not conscious about cleanliness. Answering phones and working the register with gloves on, then going back to making food without changing gloves or washing their hands. Ordered the sandwich 'Mikes way' and the employee put so much oil on it, it was not edible. It was at least a 1/4 cup of oil. It soaked through the wrapper, the paper bag it came in and on to my car seat. The quality of ingredients, especially the produce has drastically changed. Missing ingredients on the sandwich and just overall a really bad experience....again. Unfortunate to say the least. Don't go here. read more

What a great staff. We went on the 5$ sub day and it was packed. Not only did they serve us fast, they were able to quickly accommodate a friend with a gluten allergy, and do all of it with energy and kindness. Every step of the process was flawless, even on a busy day like this. Props. read more

This place is where time goes to die. While they seem to be well staffed, nobody seems to know anything about what's going on. Where do I even begin to start? Wait 15+ minutes for my order?......check. Have my order sit on the counter for a good 5 minutes before anyone even calls my name?......check. Upon receiving my order, my order being wrong?.......check. After telling the guy my order was wrong he just gives me a blank look and says it's what the ticket said. Wished I had another 30 minutes to kill waiting for them to get it right but instead I left with only half of what I ordered. To say I'm infuriated would be an understatement. I dont know, just spitballing ideas here, but maybe having 5-6 people working independently isn't working. How about less people who actually know what the hell is going on. read more

Ordered a wheat wrap, was given a wheat bread. It was super dry. I would have rather been given a white wrap instead if they were out of wheat wrap. The workers didn't even try to contact me about it. Workers tend to have bad attitudes here when you point out their mistakes or lack of customer service. read more

This place does it right. The entire business is great. The ingredients are quality and it makes a difference. They don't even need to offer a bunch of different dressings for the sandwiches. They taste great without it. First tried it when my brother brought some over. I asked for a sample and that was all I needed to put Jimmy John's and Subway to the curb. I have only ordered it once but I'll tell ya I've wanted to order it more often but they are just so busy! read more

Ordered DoorDash. This location didn't accept any order modifications on the app. When I called the location to try to modify my sandwich their phone didn't work. At the moment I am cooped up at a hotel because of Covid so I ordered an extra large sandwich so I'll have food for later. I wanted the oil/vinegar on the side to prevent mushyness. I was waiting for my food and the guy on the grill grabbed paper towel and used it to rub the sweat off of his face. Afterwards he didn't bother to change his gloves or wash his hands and proceeded to continue making peoples food. This is incredibly gross and should be addressed. I've liked their sandwiches but after seeing that I will not be going back. read more

I've been coming to Jersey mikes subs for years. I even used to work at one when I went to school. I always ask for the same thing. When I moved to Kalamazoo MI I was pleased to find out there was a Jersey mikes pretty close. I get there to order the same thing the same way. Number 8 with the meat and cheese on the hot top. They told me they don't do that. I asked why they said they don't put their cold cuts on the hot top. I don't see the issue with doing that but apparently they did. I hope I can get this fixed so I can go back. These subs are my all time favorite of all time read more

first time try this sandwich spot and I ordered the steak and portabela sandwich and they didn't put any meat on it and it didn't look like the picture it was flat and bearly any mushrooms or peppers on it won't go here again and do not recommend this restaurant. read more

Second time ordering from this place. The sandwiches are filling and great! I came in when it wasn't busy, after lunch rush. The one thing I noticed the most was that the process to make the sandwiches were not what I expected. Given, we are still going through a pandemic and it's a new place, but it took 20-25 mins to make 3 sandwiches. I understand new employees take awhile to learn the menu, but if you are calling yourself a sub shop, it shouldn't take 20 mins to make 3 sandwiches. I will still go to this place, but will probably order online from now on to avoid waiting that long for them to make it while I'm in house. read more
