That being said, I have had a few encounters at this location that aren't up to chickfila standards. The people taking the orders are always perfect and amazing, but the people handing out the food sometimes seem to be a little confused. I once sat there for 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to bring me my order and I have no idea why. It was a #1. Finally someone came to my window and asked me what I was waiting on and I told her and she brought me the order in seconds. She mentioned something about my car description not being right.. idk. Another time the lady tried to hand me my drinks in a carrier. I only had two drinks and I told her I didn't want the carrier and she said I had to keep it. I don't know why it was given to me at all or why I had to keep it. Such a waste of packaging imo. And sometimes the employees are just laughing and chatting amongst themselves. Even when I see food sitting there waiting to be distributed to cars waiting. In the big scheme of things, these are very minor things to have happen at a fast food drive through, which is why I still rate this location very high. I just feel like the chick-fil-a standards are SO HIGH that even when there are shortcomings here and there it's still good service. Kudos to the way chick-fil-a trains their employees because you can tell that they are focused on all the right things while servicing the public.

Our wait was actually very minimal. Their fries were perfectly salty and the food was amazing. I actually like that there is a third window at the drive through, it makes it where the workers can service you without having to go out in the rain etc. it's the only restaurant I've seen that had the 3rd window. There are two McDonald's in Elizabeth city and this one is BY FAR better than the one on Ehringhaus. We've gone to the Ehringhaus location a dozen times and the fries are always hard and not salted and the burgers themselves are somehow flavorless. This location beats them. So we will now be passing that one to go to this one. As for the ambiance, the drive through worked the way a drive through is supposed to work.

You had patrons feeling very uneasy and then others left. They complained they were short staffed but two men had to talk the lady into leaving the building before the cops were called. We waited in line patiently, the employees were not rude but there are only so many excuses you can give over certain things. The area was nasty, nothing was clean, food everywhere. One employee knocked over drinks in the little fridge in front of the cash register and left it like that. Facial hair was not covered during prep. I did appreciate the man washing his hands before going back to work but I did not appreciate them pulling an already dirty bowl from under the table to mix up a "fresh" batch of white rice. We ordered our food to my better judgment. I should have asked my spouse to just pick another place but we were already at the front when I finally took notice of the back. We decided to go outside and dine since the inside was in so much disarray. Jokes on us, it was just as dirty. I used napkins to cover the tables so my items wouldn't get dirty. He ate, I tried but couldn't finish knowing everything that I saw. If I had seen the reviews for this place before trying it I would never have come. Stay away for your own health. The young gal at the register remembered every single person's name and made sure she pronounced it correctly for their order.
