Dr. Yang's consultative approach provided a thorough analysis of my options. He took the time to walk me through the "why" behind each recommendation and carefully explained the long-term benefits and considerations. The practice truly cares about their patients, and the entire staff has been professional, compassionate, and supportive throughout the process. read more

Dr Jerry Yang has been my dentist since he opened his practice in Fremont. Now his son has joined the practice, making it a true family business. I have always had great experiences. They are both gentle, patient and caring. They also have great dental hygienists and assistants, who are also gentle and patient. Highly recommend this practice. read more

The visit went very well. I am naturally scared of lab coats and dentists but the staff always goes out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Dr Jerry yang is very soft spoken, easy to talk to and always explains things well. If he doesn't know (which is rare) he'll always let you know and doesn't try to force or manufacture a response. The hygienist I had is very friendly and is easy to talk to. She did a great job with the cleaning and if she feels something is off, she'll always go back to make sure it was taken care of. read more

This visit, like all of my past visits, was great. I had an emergency and did not expect to see Dr. Jerry on such short notice, especially during the MLK holiday. I called Dr. Jerry's office at 12:08 pm, and they got back to me by 12:52 pm, and I was in his office by 2:33 pm. All in the same day! He and his staff have ALWAYS been kind , courteous, and professional. It is why I have been going to Dr. Jerry's office for over 20 years! And this is why I have brought my family to his office, because I trust him and his staff to take care of them. read more

This was my first vist ever to this dental office and everything went smoothly! The receptionist greeted me warmly when I entered. The hygienist cleaned my teeth thoroughly without any discomfort. Dr. Sam did my exam and pointed out a problem area that they will closely monitor going forward. I would highly recommend Dr. Sam and his team! You will be well taken care of! read more

Nice people and place. I had a wonderful experience for cleaning my teeth. The doctor had precessional skill.

As always, a very pleasant experience Dr. Yang and his staff are very kind, friendly, and professional. Dr. Yang and Stephanie, the technician who does my cleaning, are very thorough and take the time to explain things and make sure you're comfortable and have a good understanding of what needs to be done. On my first visit, I hadn't been to a dentist for a number of years and... ahem... needed quite a bit of work done. Never once did they make me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed -- they just wanted to help me get back on track. Thanks so much for making my dental visits a positive experience read more

I had my six month check up today and Stephanie was the dental hygienist who did my cleaning. She is excellent!!! Kind, courteous, communicative, and very thorough. The same is true for Dr. Yang. He always answers any questions I may have very nicely. I'm very pleased with this dental practice read more

I was looking for a local dentist and I came across Jerry Yang. The staff is super nice and very clean. I found this place during COVID, so protocol is slightly different. They require you to wait outside and they will text you before coming inside. I felt safe and comfortable coming here. I recommend having Stephanie as your dental hygienist. She's very sweet and gentle with your teeth.. So far I've been coming here for a year and it's good. Get your free tooth brush, tooth paste, and floss to go. Tip: Wear a jacket inside. They turn up their A/C read more

I was referred to Dr. Yang around 7-8 years ago by my orthodontist. Between him and his staff, it's been a great experience. First, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are also professional and talented. The office is clean and organized. They renovated within the last few years. Dr. Yang is super knowledgeable and has great "bedside manner". He's not rushed and very thorough and gentle. I definitely recommend him! read more

Dr Yang is great! I moved an hour and half away but still chose to keep him as my dentist. His services are reasonably priced. He is kind and cares about his patients. When needed, he is thoughtful about determining the best treatment plan based upon individual needs and circumstance. I appreciate all that he and his staff do! #BestDentistEver read more

Incredibly professional. Explained everything in detail. Best part is I almost fell asleep during my cleaning.

Great honest dentist!!! I live in the Sacramento area and have to drive 2 to 3 hrs to see him each way. But for me it is worth the drive.

I came here with my 11 year old to get an orthodontics consult. Dr. Yang and his staff were very nice and professional. Dr. Yang was honest in telling me he wasn't comfortable starting Ortho for my son since all his baby teeth had not fallen out yet, along with another dental issue that my son has, and gave me referrals to 2 Orthodontics who specialize in just orthodontia. He was great and never made me feel rushed during this initial visit. Even though he didn't perform work on my son, I would recommend him due to his professionalism, along with his staff, and the cleanliness of his office. read more

Best dental experience I've ever had. I found Dr. Yang from Google and decided to give a try for consultation. When making appointment on phone, the reception lady is very nice. She listened patiently about my son's gum infection situation and got my son in the next day appointment. When arrived their office, they arranged room immediately and Dr. Yang would greet you without any long wait. Dr. Yang is professional and patience. He explained detailed, answered all my questions, and helped me to find specialist. Did I mention this is free consultation? Ya, free consultation because our insurance is not under their network. Gave me discount on X-rays. Thank you Dr. Yang and their staff. read more

New patient to this office and let me tell you, I have never felt more welcomed and reassured as I did here with Jerry and his staff. (June 2023) Visit #1: New patient appointment for a cleaning & exam. (I sent X-rays ahead of time.) First impressions: office is clean. I like that the front desk sends the links to the forms in advance and they have you wait in your car until they text you when they're ready. Parking is behind the building...huge plus. Covid conscious. Front office staff was pleasant. They take your payment as soon as you get there, before the service is received. (?) Wait time was brief once inside. Hygienist was pleasant and very thorough. Dentist came in, said Hi, & spent max 20 seconds looking in my mouth and they still charged my insurance for a Comprehensive Exam (New Patient Exam) but there was nothing "comprehensive" about it. I wasn't offered a complimentary toothbrush, toothpaste or floss. I just figured they didn't do that. (October 2023) Visit #2: Cleaning and panoramic X-ray. Hygienist was nice. The cleaning was thorough. I was given a complimentary toothbrush and floss this time. (!) The dentist spent a little more time on the exam this time which was nice. (November 2023) Visit #3: Crown replacement. The doctor didn't come in to numb my mouth until 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. (Thankfully, it was my day off...but, it's something to consider when booking.) One of the assistants puts a tablet in front of me (showing just a signature page) and tells me it's a consent form and to please sign it. I ask to see what I'm signing and she toggles back to the actual form. My suggestion would be to lead with that instead of asking patients to blindly sign a document. I asked the doctor why I needed two 2-surface fillings instead of two 1-surface fillings, asking if it were for "retention purposes" and his response seemed snarky. "Well yeah, you can't just put it on one side. It'll fall off." As a former dental professional, I knew that, but he didn't know that I knew so what I was expecting was a courteous & professional response with clarity. The actual procedure was quicker than I expected. The restroom was clean and smelled fresh. Also, the temporary crown was made well and seems secure. (November 2023-same day) Visit #4: Temporary crown bite adjustment. Once the anesthetic wore off, I could feel that an adjustment was needed. The front desk was able to get me in the same day in the late afternoon. The assistant that helped me this time was radiating attitude. In a sense, I can understand. It's the end of the day, another patient is coming in, and she probably couldn't wait to leave. However, the attitude, body language, and tone was so unprofessional and uncalled for. (Plus, I already have anxiety as it is about having a dental procedure...I literally don't want to be there so perhaps it's a lesson for the assistants to prepare the height of the temporary crown properly from the start.) The doctor made some adjustments and eventually it felt better. I could definitely sense they were busy and ready for me to leave. (The doctor reached out to me in response to my review. ) (December 2023) Visit #5: Crown cementation. I had zero problems with the temp crown after it was adjusted. The final crown was cemented quickly and feels good. The doctor also acknowledged my concerns and feedback personally which helps me trust that my dental needs will be cared for. read more

Very pleasant visit. Good experience and comfortable atmosphere. Very highly recommend it to anyone.

My dentist of 35+ years merged his practice with Dr Yang's for a while before fully retiring - a huge vote of confidence in Dr Yang's expertise. I'm thankful for Dr Yang's insightful care. Recently, Stephanie was the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. She does careful and excellent work. Both she and Dr Yang answered my questions - clearly seeking what would best fit my unique circumstances and teaching me better ways to maintain good dental health. read more

Love Jerry Yang, DDS... I was introduced to his practice about a year ago and ended up needing an emergency root canal. I now go there twice a year for annual teeth cleanings and their dental hygienists are amazing as well!! Super friendly, and gentle!! read more
