Mrs. Wylie and Mrs.brown are the poorest excuse of administrators.They don't do anything about bullying, they show favoritism, they are dismissive when a child is being bullied, and they don't support students. When we send messages to the admin they always respond with the same answer like "we will check the cameras" or "we will deal with it" and they never do anything about it! In my class the teachers could not control the class! Students are disrespectful and disruptive during class and they don't respect the teachers rules. The teachers are great though. Especially Mrs da Silva! Don't trust those other reviews about her there is nothing wrong with her. She has order in her class and respects everyone in her class. She is the only good thing about this school. Other than Mrs da Silva the school is terrible. PE is just chaos. The class can't be controlled. Kids don't care about rules. Kids think PE is the premier league and the NBA! My back is forever hurting because some short kid pushed me against the wall in PE. In the middle school boys bathroom, kids were writing N*zi symbols on the walls! It got so bad that they eventually had to shut down the middle school boys bathroom and stopped letting kids go in class. Whenever they rarely were allowed to use the restroom they had to go all the way downstairs to the elementary school bathroom. There is a ton of more that happened at this school as well. This is worse than public school. Nothing classical about it! DO NOT GO HERE. We have had concerns regarding the level of communication and support provided by school administration. In particular, interactions with the assistant principal have felt unhelpful and dismissive at times when students and parents were seeking guidance. After touring the school, we learned that the students are offered advanced opportunities in several areas. The Smart Lab, available on all grade levels, teaches modern technological skills. Their attention to specialized learning for students with dyslexia and similar handicaps was encouraging to see. Teachers have been very friendly and welcoming. My grandchildren are happier than they were at a different Christian school and are excelling here at POPCS. Looking forward to many more years to enjoy this institution as the girls grow up.
