Jerome's is a Five-Star Establishment! The staff are prompt and courteous. Scott took me through my service from start to finish. They answered all my questions and completed the claim with my insurance company. The quality of work was flawless. They had my vehicle only a few days compared to lengthy down time at other shops. This review is based on a one-time experience not continuous service. My wife needed a rear spoiler emplaced on her van due that the original was torn off. Initially, Jeromes reviewed the damage and ordered the part, quoting us approximately $500. They said that they did not need anything from us (pictures, old parts, etc.) to complete the maintenance. However, at our appointment they could not complete what was agreed upon because they needed more parts and, in fact, asked us for the original parts. Then, they quoted us a new price (approximately $700) and asked if we could reschedule. The price requote is an issue but the rescheduling might not have been an issue other than we have limited time due to us moving out of state the week of the original appointment. This is frustrating because time is money and a business who does not honor there original agreement and the customer's time is highly suspect. I would not boycott this place just be careful and be precise when discussing price, time, and issues with them. read more

I went into Jerome's collision center for my original quote and they gave my car back to me after 2 and a half hours of waiting and said they would order the parts. Took them 25 days to get all the parts they needed to replace/paint my driver door. It has been 32 days since they have had my car and "all the parts" they needed to replace my door on a 2022 Honda civic and they still have not completed the work. I was told it shouldn't take more than 4 days. Every time I call I get the run around from Amanda about what is happening with my car and it shouldn't be much longer. Jerome's has a great reputation in Minot and when I had to file a claim through USAA they were my first option, but I learned their priority is only for the customer when it is in their own best interest. At first glance they struck me as an earnest, trustworthy company who's word of mouth credibility proceeded them. I took my vehicle in for an initial evaluation and explained it was for a 3-car accident that had occurred the month prior on the highway in Denver before I moved to Minot and transported my vehicle here on a trailer. I let them know the extent of the damage that had occurred and that although it could be driven, I had not been using the vehicle since it had been driving and handling significantly different after the accident I suspected damage not visible or verifiable to a layperson via an eye inspection. After walking along the vehicle with the inspector they confirmed visible damages and that there could be unseen things as well. They completed the inspection write up and handed me a hard copy that was to be submitted to my insurance company. The copy I was given comprehensively included everything related to the accident that was supposed to be covered and I was told I would likely have to work with my insurance company to have the full repairs authorized because their initial disposition was only to cover damage to the point of impact at the front bumper. The representative at Jeromes told me they would submit their inspection for comprehensive repairs of all damage. A short time later, USAA contacted me and let me know the claim evaluation was submitted and approved, but when I looked at the authorized work it was less than 25% of what was on the copy of the inspection write-up that I received. I figured this was what had been mentioned to be about their disposition to only repair the point of impact. I worked back and forth with USAA and finally found out that a modified version of the initial inspection only listing damage to the front bumper had been submitted to USAA. When I asked USAA about it, they told me that was the only thing Jeromes completed. When I asked Jeromes they told me USAA instructed them to submit a modified claim. USAA vehemently denied this and when I next reached out to Jerome's it was clear there was a general lack of integrity and level of dishonesty occurring at my expense. It appeared Jeromes was complying with USAA's request to minimize the cost of the claim and not jeopardize their standing as a preferred and authorized shop for USAA. After calling them out on it and questioning the entire situation I was instructed by the representative at Jerome's that they couldn't work with me any further and that I had to handle it with USAA. I ultimately ended up moving my vehicle to John's Auto Body who not only advocated on my behalf with USAA but submitted and authorized a supplemental damage claim to comprehensively cover all damage since Jerome's submitted initial inspection submission had been modified and limited to only what USAA directed. They also covered my deductible. At the end of the day it is apparent that Jerome's values their customers as long as it is to their benefit and won't impact their opportunity to maximize their own business as a preferred shop for insurance company. Jerome's cost me hours of my time in not only resolving the claim with my insurance company but also in being out of a vehicle for upwards of two months. They ultimately displayed a lack of integrity, questionable business practices and that the customer is only a priority when it doesn't compete with their own interests or insurance companies. I would recommend John' Auto Body 100% over Jeromes and would advise you to think twice about using their services at all. read more

Dropped my vehicle off after initial estimate. Three days later no work had been started and the estimate was replaced with an open ended cost. At no point could the estimater actually repeat my desires, he just knew it could cost more. I cancelled and picked up my vehicle the next day. I currently had a accident. I walked in and first thing I noticed was clean. I was welcomed by the receptionist. I knew my car was in great hands. As we were there getting a estimate for insurance. Scott came and gave us the amount. He was very pleasant, kind, professional. After he walked away to get up set up my husband called another place to get a estimate. I felt not good on the place he called. Plus my car wasn't safe to drive any further as jeromes was also close to the AFB. So we discussed this other place.i didn't want to argue anymore with my husband and we were going to go check out this other place. I've never been to a body shop before until my truck box was smashed out by a front end loader in the parking lot. Got me a rental car, above timely repair, awesome customer service, and no hassle at all. f I had some water seepage in my replaced tail light a little over a year later and they replaced it at no cost, it was a manufacture defect.
