Location: 4105 Kingston Road, Toronto, Ontario - Guildwood GO Station…read more(Not sure why Yelp is showing a different address. Probably a good idea to check their Instagram before visiting, incase they move their food truck to the address listed on Yelp) Note: Their menu is different everyday. Menu is posted on their Instagram story (@thegoodeatsbyjulian) everyday morning before opening. We ordered every single item on the menu except for the "Ghetto Gospel". Oxtail Burger (4/5) - I believe this is the most popular item on their menu. I thought the oxtail was tender and the bun was soft. The plantain in the burger was a nice little surprise but I didn't really taste much of it because of the flavourful oxtail. Overall I enjoyed it. Fish Sandwich (4/5) - My mom loves seafood so I ordered this for her. She thought it was a very good sandwich, and their home made sauce was great. Jerk Pork + Festival (3.5/5) - Flavour was good, and the hot sauce definitely gives you a kick which was nice. Unfortunately, it was a bit dry for my liking. Keep in mind, I did eat it ~15 mins after getting it since I had to drive home, so that may be the reason. The festival was nothing special but it is not overly sweet and my family enjoyed it. BBQ Fried Chicken + Festival (2.5/5) - I thought this was pretty good value considering the 3 large pieces of chicken. Overall, the sauce was not my favourite and it essentially overpowered any taste of the fried chicken. Coleslaw (2/5) - There was Coleslaw in both the burgers and the sandwich, and it was also included in the "Jerk Pork + Festival" and "BBQ Fried Chicken + Festival". Not a fan just because I prefer more creamy coleslaw. Experience (2/5) - I arrived at the food truck approximately 15 minutes after opening. I asked for estimated wait time, and the lady told me approximately 30 minutes since the BBQ fried chicken and Fish sandwich are freshly made. I didn't mind a 30 minutes wait so I proceeded with my order. The lady was quite nice and answered all my questions regarding the items on the menu. I ended up receiving my order 1 hour and 6 minutes later. I understand there is only 1 person cooking in the food truck, but within ~30 minutes, they only fulfilled 2 orders and one of those order was only one burger/sandwich. FYI, they do encourage customers to order ahead on Uber Eats. You will end up paying slightly more due to the increased prices on these platforms, but I think it is worth it to avoid an unexpected long wait.

With small businesses having been hit hard by Covid, I love any excuse to support local. Plus, it's an outdoor space and I was able to order ahead online for many of the vendors. 6 Spice Rack tops the list for one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. It's seriously so delicious - and I'm saying this even after only being able to eat it after I got home. I'm sure it would have been even better if I ate it right away. It's called surf and turf mac and cheese, but there's really only lobster in it (no turf). That's no reason not to try it though. They give a generous amount of lobster in it and the perfect amount of cheese to keep you wanting another bite. Whatever seasoning they put on it is so tasty. Overall, I would definitely come back to 6 Spice Rack for their mac and cheese, but also to try their other dishes like something to tac-about or fried chicken beignets! Especially excited because starting Apr 17, they'll be at Street Eats Market by Scarborough Town Centre, which is closer to me. Be sure to check out their instagram as well as Street Eats Market's instagram and website, as they post updates on menus, dates, locations and whether or not they offer online ordering (currently it's take out only)!

Overpriced at $16, but this was expected because food truck at large event. The toppings area was lacking (no tomatoes and lettuce left). Burger itself tasted good. Waited an extra 25 minutes for my order and watched everyone who was behind me get their food only to find out they had put my order had been put iin the take out warmer without calling out my name, despite the fact the front of house person has alerted the staff when I arrived that the order was coming out soon. Ironically I used their own website to order rather than Uber eats but of course the Uber Eats order got priortized. All I got was a very curt "sorry" when I finally got my food. Since the website dosent have a contact email I figured this review will maybe get noticed instead. Sadly the food was good so it pains me to write this but hopefully the service can be improved. .

It's kind of a funny story how I discovered Burger Park. I was driving on the highway one day,…read morespotted their giant sign, and thought, what is that? I remembered to look it up later and immediately bookmarked it. It was definitely giving Shake Shack vibes from the photos. I came with a friend around 6 pm, and parking was surprisingly easy thanks to the adjacent garage. They validate for 2 hours, which honestly makes a huge difference and would've otherwise been a deterrent. The space itself is cute and minimal, with a clean, modern feel. We ordered two double patty Park Burgers, a blueberry spice fruit shake, a strawberry sherbet fruit shake, and a regular fry with their house-made sauce. This meal was nearly perfect. The burgers were tender and juicy, with beautifully crisp edges on the smashed patties. Everything came out at the perfect temperature. I went with the default toppings, which were fresh, well-balanced, and generously portioned. The bun was soft and held everything together nicely. The fries were a pleasant surprise. I'm not usually a crinkle-cut fan, but these were crispy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the delicious mayo-based sauce. The fruit shakes were probably my least favorite part. I was expecting something brighter and more tangy, but they leaned more mild in flavor. That said, the icy consistency was refreshing and would hit the spot on a hot day. I noticed they also offer cookies, which I didn't get to try but looked very promising. The place was quite busy, with a steady flow of dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders, but the service still stood out. We hadn't realized they use peanut oil, which was a concern since my friend has an allergy. The staff were very helpful, reassuring us that the burgers are grilled separately and even going the extra step to confirm the fries are cooked in sunflower oil. My friend was able to enjoy them without any issues, which we really appreciated. Overall, it's a bit out of the way for me, but absolutely worth the trip. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

Basically it's one place, kind of semi fine dining looking, and then three menus are given to you. I ordered the Unicord (typo?) Tea/Chai from Karak and the smoked chicken rice balls from Smokey Sam's and the Dbl Oklahoma from Oklahoma burgers. The Unicorn or unicord tea was pretty interesting. It's blue which looks nice and it has like a fruity herbal taste with lemony notes. The smoked chicken rice balls is a good concept but the way they coated it, it was extra oily and thin and crispy and extremely burnt. We had to give it back and tell them to take it off the bill. I wouldn't recommend it until they figure out a way to fry it properly so it doesn't get burned. You will see what I mean in the photos. The whole exterior is burnt black. The dill pickle fries were nice. It was lightly coated in some kind of dill pickle seasoning. The serving was a little bit small for the $6 charge but still it was nice for a change. The Oklahoma Burger was surprisingly good. The caramelized onions and the burger patty itself was very tasty. I would recommend it. So if you're looking for Oklahoma Burger, you will find it inside the Smoky Sam's. I think they need to work on their signage because otherwise I would not have found it. We were going to go inside and ask for where Oklahoma Burger is. Bathroom is nice and clean. Kudos to the bathrooms clearly separated by sex.
