They offer a variety of massages: deep tissue, reflexology, Thai, chair massage by the minute, etc. and have reasonable prices for them. I decided to treat myself to a two hour massage and was able to get a next-day appointment on their website. The massage studio itself is fairly bare bones: you won't find fluffy robes and sparkling water here. When you arrive they have you take off your shoes and give you house slippers. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The individual rooms are more like stalls in that the barriers between them don't go all the way to the ceiling, so that means you can hear things from other customers, but it's usually not that big of a deal as people tend to be quiet. They offer relaxing music but don't pay for the service so occasionally you have to hear an ad, but you'll be so blissed out from the massage you won't notice it. The massage therapists really know what they're doing. They'll start by kneeling on you (not as creepy as it sounds) and they will really dig into your knots. They're receptive to feedback if the pressure gets too intense or if there are areas you need avoided. You might not feel the effects of the massage right away, but after a good hot shower and a sleep you'll feel far more limber and in less pain. They also offer couples massages for any duo. When you check out they give you a Thai hard candy and a water bottle.

I couldn't anticipate what was coming next. I came in for a deep tissue massage so I knew it would be a little uncomfortable for my back and neck and shoulders but i counted a number of times where I had sharp pain. I can't say if I'd gotten something else it would've been better? But the deep tissue was really painful..

In fact, my physiotherapist told me I healed very quickly and he always found his clients who use acupuncture heal more quickly. In addition, Lisa provides other organic supplements, holistic therapies as well as topical pain relievers. These have been key for not only for my illness / injury recoveries they have helped me remain healthy as well as feel and look youthful. I went weeks in pain from a twisted ankle, from doctor to doctor, with tests, spending money galore, and in just one hour with David and his targeted methods, I was virtually cured in one session. Within one week, I was walking normally, without pain & without my trusted brace. A self-proclaimed body "engineer," David impressed me at my employer's health fair, where he provided some initial relief within only 10 mins, allowing me to leave on vacation with much less pain. He is what he claims to be: an injury therapist, specializing in nerve treatment. I didn't hesitate to call him again, after aggravating the original injury this past month and adding a horrific sciatic-like pain in my hip and leg, after a jaunt in the "ball pit" with my grandkids... turns out it wasn't sciatic at all, but rather a lower back muscle band aggravated by a twisted tailbone, which no doctor, nor chiropractor, was able to diagnose or handle! David and I were both a little surprIsed to hear the loud crack when my tailbone virtually moved itself back into place---instant relief! Needless to say, I HIGHLY recommend David for his easy, gentle & comfortable approach and handling, and most especially his TOTAL expertise and professionalism! Very reasonably priced for home visit; very dependable! Cannot say enough great things about him! AMK

Wow, Roman is such a bright ray of sunshine, especially when you are dealing with aches and pains…read morethat need to be addressed! I recently had the pleasure of working with him to relieve some very intense neck pain I woke up with due to a crick in my neck. For 2-3 days my neck was so stiff and I couldn't turn it past a certain point. Roman created a safe and gentle healing space to begin the Thai massage work. I think I was literally in a relaxed theta state within about 5 minutes of starting the session. He is precise and methodical with his work, and I found that he listened attentively and focused his work on the specific areas that I needed that day. He addressed the area from every angle, expertly demonstrating related muscle groups and asking if I could feel the pain radiate down into the problematic spot from a point seemingly unrelated. Through my intense relaxation, and the myriad of methods he applied, the pain instantly began to decrease. The next morning I woke up, I no longer had the crick in my neck and I was able to regain full range of motion. By the following morning, all additional surrounding pain was gone. Roman is such a talented therapist with crazy fast results. I'm so grateful for the treatment and will definitely see him again. I honestly don't know why any other form of massage exists. I have been going to Laurie for 15 years. She is absolutely the best at what she does and her rates…read moreare amazing when you consider the time she spends with her clients. A session is 2hrs. That is unheard of the industry. Most are 60 minutes, with 90 being the max if you are lucky. Most others are also on a tight schedule and clock watch. Laurie does not. She schedules clients far enough apart that you get the full time and maybe even a little extra if you have a real problem area to address. Her sessions are long because she uses a variety of modalities and incorporates a lot of Thai yoga stretching into her work for your whole body with emphasis on any trouble areas you discuss or are discovered during the session. Laurie also places emphasis on the whole being. She wants to get to know her clients and sooth your mind as well as your body. I have been going for massage therapy for 35 years. I have never found anyone better. Even at fancy spas, I am so spoiled now that I always am left wanting more. I think 60 minutes is too short and most therapists lose interest before the rare 90 minute session is over. Laurie is different. She is present for the full 2hrs, which I have never found anywhere else.
