There's a trail that takes you down to a pretty pond, waterfall, and wetlands. There's a recreational bonanza of options, with an Olympic sized pool, tennis courts, two baseball fields, basketball courts, a football field, a park, a softball field, a skate park, two pavilions, a soccer field, wading pool, and playgrounds. Did Mr. gray hoodie clean up after Fido? Nope, he just ignored that steaming pile of dog doo, leashed up his dog when it finally sprinted over, and calmly walked away along East Hill Road. The selfish, careless, inconsiderate arrogance was incredible to witness. So, if you're playing out there on the fields, watch where you step.

There is a pavilion with a few picnic tables; you can contact Canton recreation to reserve them for a party. The parking lot has plenty of spaces. There's no trail, just a small paved portion behind the skatepark. I saw plenty of people walking around the park and around the field. My kids really enjoyed playing in the playground. There's a double swing you can put your small child in and you can sit on the swing as well; that was a first for me. A gem and I'm lucky to live close by and be able to use this establishment.

Visited this Big Sky location to check out their pool. The indoor pool is 5 lanes, 4ft deep, and 25…read moremeters long. There isn't a reservation system at all and no lifeguard on duty which makes everything very confusing. Thankfully I arrived as a swim lesson was ending so I was able to stay in that lane until the next lesson. The water was extremely cloudy and I'm not sure if it's because it was a low lit area but it was tough to see under with my goggles. The locker room is really nice and spacious. Since I'm shopping around for a gym with a pool, options are limited but I don't see myself returning for this indoor pool. I'd love to try the outdoor pool.

Joining this gym was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love that they have a couple of private changing rooms as well. Showers are great and have shampoo, conditioner and body wash there to use. I signed up for training with an amazing coach. We haven't really gotten into mini golf, tennis, or the water slides yet, but maybe when they're older. We have not done swimming lessons here either but we hear great things about the swim team. I did not deduct stars for this but would like to give fair warning that the snack bar this summer was VERY slow, understaffed, and prone to errors the times that we used it. I hope it improved throughout the season but we haven't utilized it since midway through the summer. We'll try again next year!

There's a big kids playscape with climbing and ladders. The little kids playground had a sandbox, swings, slides, tunnels, etc. There were benches and picnic tables as well. The pool and splash pad is adjacent and fenced in; to enter the pool, there is a fee. The splash pad has benches and a grassy area to put your stuff down. The restrooms were clean and there was a Little Free Library right near there. What I loved about the park was the ample amount of shade. Definitely a fun place to take the kids in the summer.

We had a very enjoyable time strolling on their trails and taking in the pretty scenery around its big pond. We saw a ton of features on the park grounds - a wood bridge over the water and a splash pad, playground and playscape where the kids were having a blast. We saw families hanging out at their grills and picnic tables, plus a Little League field, basketball, volleyball, tennis courts and a big swimming pool. The leisure and entertainment opportunities here are fantastic. What a great place to relax and enjoy!

There were a couple of town buildings (senior center and community room), a swimming pool, basketball court, sand volleyball court, tennis courts, a small field, and a playground. There were picnic tables throughout and a very small pavilion. The playgorund was on mulch and in good shape; there were two swings and two baby swings. This park is on 33-acres and has woods in the back; I saw quite people walking into it. It is open from dusk to dawn all year. The pool was packed since it's a hot June day. The daily fee for the pool is $7 for residents and $10 for non-resident. Overall, a fun spot to hangout!

I had one life guard tell me I couldn't put my feet on side of pool. They were telling the kids to stay on sidewalk when it was burning hot the life guard Micheal was so rude we left. After having heard from other Dog's pet humans that Friends of Canton Dog Park (FOCDP) is one of…read morethe best so our fury owner had us drive her there for trial run. It was a warmer December Saturday, following some heavy days of rain when we set out. Not knowing what slop we might be subjecting ourselves to we decided to be merry and Howled Holiday Carols all the way, even over a river and into woods. GPS got us the and yes, set off was the Park in some woods. Parking roughed gravel and wet ruts. There was the FOCDP within a beautiful wooded canopy of pine and leafed out deciduous trees. A smaller fenced in space for 25 pounders or less including some play scape. The space for the 25 pound or greater whoppers a larger wooded compound. Why do I like the wooded space? Warmer weather - more shade. Cooler weather - less direct exposure to wind. Slop weather - the forest space provides a natural sponge and a source of base material constantly being added. Of course, the trees added a wild feel for the fury visitors to enjoy Our Fury owner bridges into both areas, not too small and not too large. So we enjoyed visiting both areas and the social time with other friendly Pups and their Human Pets. Gladly both areas were fairly dry and not a swamp of mud. Seal of approval EARNED! FOCDP, acronym needed so my Fury Owner doesn't hear me pronouncing "Dog Park". Anyway FOCDP easily earned a 5 Star rating.
