The moving company sent someone to the house to fix it, but they did a terrible job. I finally got around to getting it refinished, and Chris did a fantastic job. All the scratches are gone, and the finish is beautiful. It took about 6 weeks, and they picked it up and brought it back. He was very easy to work with, and I would highly recommend him. He is not cheap, but in this kind of work, you get what you pay for. I can now keep this for another 30 years!

I was almost to the point of breaking down and buying a new sofa. There's nothing wrong with it, but the cushions were so flat and worn, it was really uncomfortable and an eyesore. For a tenth of the cost, Lev has fixed the problem. The sofa is once again comfortable and looks like new! He also fixed a leather tote for me - so I'm a very happy camper! Lev is honest, he knows what he's doing, and his rates are extremely affordable and reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend him - you cannot go wrong!

The chair was beat from 30 years of abuse by kids and dogs, and had spent the last 10 years of its life in our crawlspace. I never would have believed that this chair could be repaired, much less restored. I decided that I would get the chair restored for her birthday, and after visiting several shops, settled on Ablyss. Understand that this chair was never top quality, but rather like something you might have seen along the roadside with a "free" sign attached. That was before Ablyss got their hands on it. They got the project done on budget, on time, and are absolute craftsmen! The old chair looks BRAND NEW (it actually made my wife cry to see it all beautiful again). I am totally blown away with the quality of the restoration and the detail work, down to the hand-painted gold pinstripes. What was to be destined someday for a dumpster, is now beautifully presented in front of our living room fireplace. I cannot thank Ablyss enough for making this birthday a real "WOW" moment, and HIGHLY recommend them for anyone desiring excellent quality restoration work.

When we took the table to these guys we quickly discovered they were highly skilled at refinishing wood and really nice guys. They do the work out of a shop in a separate building on their property. Maybe they do such a great job because their customers "know where they live." :-) We told them we wanted the legs painted off-white and a natural stain on the top. They took the time to show us our options to clarify exactly what we wanted. They gave us expert advice throughout the process to make sure what we thought we wanted was exactly what we were hoping for. We didn't feel rushed and appreciated them taking the time to get us the results we desired. They offered a service where they pick up and deliver the table which made it very convenient for us. After they did the work and delivered the table it was perfect. We are planning to give them another piece of furniture to transform for us. I don't remember exactly how much we paid for refinishing and picking & delivery, but for the convenience, and results they achieved, we gladly handed over our money.
