Super cute farm with great peaches and really good peach ice cream. We ate peach ice cream at 3-4 places over the weekend and this was by far the best. A little disappointed that we weren't able to do the pick your own option but strawberry season had just ended and there were no options for peach picking the Saturday that we went out. Picked up some peaches to take home with us though and they are divine!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience! We picked strawberries and flowers !! You ride on a trailer being pulled by an old tractor to the strawberry patch! It was so much fun. There were adults and children all enjoying themselves. On the tractor ride back to the main building, there was a little one that was covered head to toe in strawberry juice! You could tell he enjoyed himself immensely! He was adorable!! Even though they ask people not to eat the strawberries while picking, I don't blame this little guy for sampling some. They are sweet, juicy and delicious!! Can't wait to go back during peach season to pick peaches!!! There are so many things to do for little ones too! Big inflated jumping trampoline area and water slides (too cold right now for that right now, though I'm sure during the summer it's a big hit!) Do yourself a favor and eat at Leroy's Tex Mex BBQ too!!

Been here like 6 times now - I always come looking for peach cobbler and ice cream, and they always have it. I honestly refuse to get my Fredericksburg peach cobbler anywhere else at this point. This last time I came they only had cinnamon ice cream; it was good but my favorite to date is still their lavender ice cream it is just the LOVELIEST thing on their delicious cobbler! I don't know what they put in it to make it so good, but it's a winner. Interestingly this last time I went a couple weeks ago, I found they had opened their own wine tasting room - that was new. It was cute in there, they had some couches, a Christmas tree/holiday decor, and a flat screen with the football game on. The ambiance was very chill~ Thanks for always being around Jenschke - please keep the cobbler and lavender ice cream stocked!

Big sign outside saying "Peach Ice cream"...we were on the hunt for it!! I thought it would be handscooped, but it was just containers pre-packed in a cooler. They were not very peachy and a little icy. I ate the whole thing, but wouldn't repeat here.

They have the best peach ice cream and peach cobbler here. In addition, they have the cutest merchandise to pick from. There's a fun table with swings, as chairs, outside. That is so fun!

The PEACH COBBLER here. Y'all when I say run to get some dessert here, Run! Their peach cobbler came out so fresh and hot (and topped with some ice cream) and was some of the best peach cobbler I've had! It's a lot sweeter than typical peach cobbler though as a heads up(which I liked). Their peach ice cream was also a hit with our group and super tasty!! You can tell was super fresh. I love that you could also buy fresh peaches there and they had super cute souvenirs to get as well! Souvenirs were more boutique prices but prices for the desserts were pretty reasonable! This was a perfect stop right across from some good Tex Mex as well to end our trip. They have a lot of outdoor seating to sit at as well. Highly recommend and would definitely stop back in if in town again!

This is a great family farm :) we loved the wildflowers! Gorgeous and flourishing even in 90 degree heat. Their peach cobbler and salsas were good too. Worth the stop!

Online it appears you are buying a 30-minute window. You're not. And if you arrive late, employees will berate you.

Terrible customer service and extremely rude employees. We bought tickets for u-pick privileges. ($5 per person) Online it appears you are purchasing a 30-minute window. We arrived 5 minutes into our window. Employee told us we missed the shuttle. I tried to kindly explain the confusion created by their own online system (see photo). I wasn't asking for a refund or exception, just trying to explain why we thought we had more time. This woman started literally screaming at me and followed me out to the parking lot saying she "doesn't get paid enough to deal with people like me." She had to be restrained by another employer. Completely inappropriate and unhinged.

This particular review is for the new LeRoys Tex-Mex restaurant here at the orchard. We loved it!! Its a cute little space with very friendly service from Hallie and good food and wine. We only had the chip and dip trio but based on how good all three dips are I assume the other items are just as good. We were told the daily special (carnitas enchiladas) was really good. We also had peach cobbler OF COURSE. I had a glass of house Sauvignon Blanc and hubby had a local Altstadt brew. Both great. Definitely come in and try them out. It's become a local favorite so that's saying a lot.

Jenschke Orchards was the perfect family outing! I heard about this place from a friend and saw some pictures of her pictures. I knew immediately I needed to take my little one. She loves strawberries and that is what is currently in season to pick. As the seasons change the crop to pick does as well. It's free to pick and then you pay for what you pick by the pound. The strawberries seemed inexpensive and we filled up 2 small boxes. My child loved doing this so much. It was worth every minute and we've decided as a family we are definitely coming back. When we checked out they had fresh strawberry cobbler and strawberry and vanilla ice cream! It was a must have for us. So we sat outside on the bench and consumed ever bit - the strawberry cobbler topped with strawberry ice cream was my favorite! If you are looking for a nice, quick, fun family outing for everyone this is the spot!

Was disappointed when we got home and many of the peaches in the container were green and unripe. They have signs all over saying don't touch the peaches so it's hard to know if the prepackage container you are buying has ripe peaches. My recommendation is avoid the prepackaged peaches in the store and only buy from the u pick em so you know what you're getting. Or go elsewhere.

If you are wanting an authentic pumpkin patch then Jenschke Orchards is your place. I take my daughter every year to get her pumpkin there.

Me and my family came here for a little getaway trip and let me just say, we had so much fun. This…read moreplace is such a vibe. Seeing the animals that close was honestly an experience I'll never forget. The rhinos were right outside our back patio area where we could watch them from a distance. Obviously there were safety barriers between our townhouse-style villa and another barrier around the animal enclosure itself, but it still felt amazing being able to see them so close. The place we stayed in was super spacious. It was more like a private little townhouse/villa setup rather than a regular hotel room. There are multiple villas throughout the property depending on the size of your group. Ours was a two-bedroom, three-bed villa with huge restrooms, amazing water pressure, and beautiful backyard views overlooking the rhino enclosure. My cousin mentioned that some of the other villas also overlook the giraffes, but ours mainly had views of the rhinos which was still such an amazing experience. One thing I really loved was how interactive and educational the experience was. The staff was very friendly, informative, and clearly cared a lot about the animals. They explained where many of the animals came from, safety precautions, and how to properly interact with them respectfully. For example, with the giraffes they explained not to stand too close to their neck or face while feeding them because if they turn suddenly you could fall over. With the rhinos, the staff explained that their eyesight is limited, so we had to approach them slowly and talk to them so they knew we were there. There's a barricade setup with small openings where the rhinos pop their heads through while eating. As guests, we slowly walked alongside the barricade while talking to them until we reached their forehead area where we were allowed to gently pet them. It was honestly such a cool and unique experience being able to interact with them that closely while still keeping everything safe for both the animals and guests. The animal activities were honestly one of the best parts. We got to feed the giraffes and even the sloth which was such a cool experience. The giraffes also got to "paint" on a canvas using this really interesting paintbrush contraption. One person would hold the canvas while another person held the paintbrush setup near the giraffe's face, and the giraffe would push and move the brush around the canvas creating its own little painting. It was definitely a two-person job and such a unique experience to watch. There was also another activity where the rhinos helped create paintings. They put non-toxic, animal-safe paint on the side of the rhino's leg and you press the canvas against it to create a little portrait to take home as a memory. Upon arrival they provided little breakfast/snack items for our stay like oatmeal, waffles, orange juice, and protein bars. They also let us choose between cider and bottled water which was a nice touch. The entire property feels peaceful, hidden, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Just keep in mind that restaurants and stores are about 30 minutes away, and it gets VERY dark at night since the property is more secluded. We personally went out to eat and explore, but you could also order DoorDash if you wanted to stay in and relax at the property. Overall, my whole experience here was amazing. I love animals, so being able to enjoy something this unique with my mom, aunt, and cousin made it even more special. Definitely something different, relaxing, and memorable. I would absolutely recommend staying at Longneck Manor if you want a unique getaway experience in Texas.

A Full and Wonderful Day…read more Our tour with Dale was fabulous. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it didn't take long to realize that not only is Dale a great tour guide, he's also a very personable and knowledgable man who makes you feel like an old friend. The points of interest were superb and the last stop we made provided one of the best meals I've had in my life and most likely the best ribeye ever. The day lasted longer than expected, but it was a wonderful day and ended up being just perfect. We are planning to use his rental venue for a retreat in the coming months and looking forward to it. I highly recommend his services.

First I would like to start with the facts. 1. We booked…read morethis tour months ago but unfortunately had to reschedule to a later date. (due to Covid19) This was not an issue for anyone attending the tour and the company got all $2800 paid for in full. 2. Yes $2800. We had 28 people in our group, It required two buses that were at their max capacity. 3. I would give a HUGE ZERO if I could. The buses arrived at the pick up location 25 minutes early and expected us (all 28) to load up. Not all 28 people were even there yet. The male driver already seemed annoyed at this point. We ended up pulling out at the agreed on time. When trying to leave the 2nd winery we couldn't. The drivers HAD LEFT and weren't there to pick us up. We waited outside in the sun outside for 30 minutes before they even got back. But that unfortunately is not why I am writing this review As we were loading the bus to go home the male driver said that would be charging us for a cleaning fee ($300) because someone spilt something on the floorboard. Pretty steep for a small spill that could be wiped up with a Clorox wipe but she agreed to pay it she sat down. Comments started to be exchanged about the steep fee and how the day had been complete chaos up until this point. The man began to get pretty heated and slammed the door. When he opened the door to his seat he said "who the f**k spilt something in my seat." Nobody had spilled something on his seat. Upon looking at the "spill" it appeared to be sweat from Him. He continued to cuss and yell and eventually told us to "get off his bus." We all piled off and the other bus also unloaded. Now it is important to note the other driver said we didn't do anything wrong and that she didn't agree with how he was handling things. He told her he was in charge and that he would make the call. She became quiet after that. They ultimately left us there to find our own rides. The male driver was rude and didn't speak unless spoken to the entire day. A beautiful day with amazing company was RUINED by this company and I will not recommend them to anyone!
