Super cute farm with great peaches and really good peach ice cream. We ate peach ice cream at 3-4 places over the weekend and this was by far the best. A little disappointed that we weren't able to do the pick your own option but strawberry season had just ended and there were no options for peach picking the Saturday that we went out. Picked up some peaches to take home with us though and they are divine!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience! We picked strawberries and flowers !! You ride on a trailer being pulled by an old tractor to the strawberry patch! It was so much fun. There were adults and children all enjoying themselves. On the tractor ride back to the main building, there was a little one that was covered head to toe in strawberry juice! You could tell he enjoyed himself immensely! He was adorable!! Even though they ask people not to eat the strawberries while picking, I don't blame this little guy for sampling some. They are sweet, juicy and delicious!! Can't wait to go back during peach season to pick peaches!!! There are so many things to do for little ones too! Big inflated jumping trampoline area and water slides (too cold right now for that right now, though I'm sure during the summer it's a big hit!) Do yourself a favor and eat at Leroy's Tex Mex BBQ too!!

Been here like 6 times now - I always come looking for peach cobbler and ice cream, and they always have it. I honestly refuse to get my Fredericksburg peach cobbler anywhere else at this point. This last time I came they only had cinnamon ice cream; it was good but my favorite to date is still their lavender ice cream it is just the LOVELIEST thing on their delicious cobbler! I don't know what they put in it to make it so good, but it's a winner. Interestingly this last time I went a couple weeks ago, I found they had opened their own wine tasting room - that was new. It was cute in there, they had some couches, a Christmas tree/holiday decor, and a flat screen with the football game on. The ambiance was very chill~ Thanks for always being around Jenschke - please keep the cobbler and lavender ice cream stocked!

Big sign outside saying "Peach Ice cream"...we were on the hunt for it!! I thought it would be handscooped, but it was just containers pre-packed in a cooler. They were not very peachy and a little icy. I ate the whole thing, but wouldn't repeat here.

They have the best peach ice cream and peach cobbler here. In addition, they have the cutest merchandise to pick from. There's a fun table with swings, as chairs, outside. That is so fun!

The PEACH COBBLER here. Y'all when I say run to get some dessert here, Run! Their peach cobbler came out so fresh and hot (and topped with some ice cream) and was some of the best peach cobbler I've had! It's a lot sweeter than typical peach cobbler though as a heads up(which I liked). Their peach ice cream was also a hit with our group and super tasty!! You can tell was super fresh. I love that you could also buy fresh peaches there and they had super cute souvenirs to get as well! Souvenirs were more boutique prices but prices for the desserts were pretty reasonable! This was a perfect stop right across from some good Tex Mex as well to end our trip. They have a lot of outdoor seating to sit at as well. Highly recommend and would definitely stop back in if in town again!

This is a great family farm :) we loved the wildflowers! Gorgeous and flourishing even in 90 degree heat. Their peach cobbler and salsas were good too. Worth the stop!

Online it appears you are buying a 30-minute window. You're not. And if you arrive late, employees will berate you.

Terrible customer service and extremely rude employees. We bought tickets for u-pick privileges. ($5 per person) Online it appears you are purchasing a 30-minute window. We arrived 5 minutes into our window. Employee told us we missed the shuttle. I tried to kindly explain the confusion created by their own online system (see photo). I wasn't asking for a refund or exception, just trying to explain why we thought we had more time. This woman started literally screaming at me and followed me out to the parking lot saying she "doesn't get paid enough to deal with people like me." She had to be restrained by another employer. Completely inappropriate and unhinged.

This particular review is for the new LeRoys Tex-Mex restaurant here at the orchard. We loved it!! Its a cute little space with very friendly service from Hallie and good food and wine. We only had the chip and dip trio but based on how good all three dips are I assume the other items are just as good. We were told the daily special (carnitas enchiladas) was really good. We also had peach cobbler OF COURSE. I had a glass of house Sauvignon Blanc and hubby had a local Altstadt brew. Both great. Definitely come in and try them out. It's become a local favorite so that's saying a lot.

Jenschke Orchards was the perfect family outing! I heard about this place from a friend and saw some pictures of her pictures. I knew immediately I needed to take my little one. She loves strawberries and that is what is currently in season to pick. As the seasons change the crop to pick does as well. It's free to pick and then you pay for what you pick by the pound. The strawberries seemed inexpensive and we filled up 2 small boxes. My child loved doing this so much. It was worth every minute and we've decided as a family we are definitely coming back. When we checked out they had fresh strawberry cobbler and strawberry and vanilla ice cream! It was a must have for us. So we sat outside on the bench and consumed ever bit - the strawberry cobbler topped with strawberry ice cream was my favorite! If you are looking for a nice, quick, fun family outing for everyone this is the spot!

Was disappointed when we got home and many of the peaches in the container were green and unripe. They have signs all over saying don't touch the peaches so it's hard to know if the prepackage container you are buying has ripe peaches. My recommendation is avoid the prepackaged peaches in the store and only buy from the u pick em so you know what you're getting. Or go elsewhere.

You can't just show up without calling first to make sure trees are still available, and if you're hoping for one of those big, fluffy, picture-perfect trees, you really need to go the day they open, or at least within that first week. My family and I have been getting our trees from Pipe Creek for five years now, and every year it's the same: the best trees go fast. We don't live in a state where these trees grow abundantly, so the full, fluffy ones are always the first to go. I actually plan ahead and don't work on opening day, and I always get there at least 15 minutes early. Last year was wild for us, and we ended up going a week late. I already knew the tree I had envisioned would be gone, so we compromised and picked something a little smaller than usual. And honestly? We still loved it. I had no complaints; even the dirt road on the way to the farm was fun and brought a different level of experience. It wasn't too far only about 30 mins outside of city limits. I can't say it's a bad store in any way it was just more of a let down. I'm used to Christmas stores being over the top and packed full of cheer. This place just felt sterile and empty. There was nothing unique and not much to look at inventory wise. It felt like they were trying to be too sophisticated but instead it just sort of took the joy out of what you expect to find in a CHRISTMAS SHOP! We want tinsel and Holly and twinkles, this store doesn't have much but blown glass and a few Santa statues that you wouldn't want your kids to play around. Even those are sparse on the shelves. It was the weekend before Thanksgiving, so there were plenty of lush pines to choose from (Firs to be specific...) starting at 3 and 4 feet and working their way up to 8-9 feet. It didn't take us long to find the perfect one, and within 10 minutes, the volunteer guys running the show had it trimmed, chopped and loaded in our truck for us. We also scored a deal on last year's stand (I think they were selling them half-price). All in all, we made it out of there in less than 20 minutes and spent exactly $100 for a beautiful fresh scented Fir and a brand new stand. It warrants mentioning that, yes, you will find a cheaper tree at Home Depot (by about half the price). But what you won't find is three gentlemen ready and willing to help, with smiles on their faces, and a Christmas Tree purchase that gives you warm fuzzies beyond the usual holiday spirit. But, it's basically that (although there wasn't much of it yet, just some flowers to see) and garden decor, pots, gifts, wine, pickled things, plants and LOTS of wildflower seeds to plant at home. The plants, some were decently priced, most were a little pricier. Just depends on which ones. Majority of the ones we wanted were a little better price wise vs going to home depot, at least we think so! We walked around the adventure trail (since it was free) to get some steps in and have the kids burn some of their energy out while roaming around (minus my toddler, she would want to run away and fast haha so I changed my mind on that idea).
