This review is long overdue. My almost 4 year old twins have been going to Dr. Kristina Langworthy…read moresince they were about 14 months. Dr. Kristina is hands down the best pediatric dentist. She is kind, caring, and so wonderful with her patients. My sons genuinely love Dr. Kristina and look forward to their 6 month visits with her. She speaks to them in a gentle tone and always meets them at eye level. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Kristina. The office is very kid friendly. It's well laid out and always clean. The office staff are always very welcoming and friendly. There are screens above each chair with a variety of shows available which helps for any kiddos who need distraction. If you're looking for the best of the best, look no further - Dr. Kristina at Kidsmiles is it!

Kid Smile was mine and my siblings first experience with dentistry. I've attended them from 0 years old to just shy of 19 years old and it truly helped shaped my teeth habits. Like many kids, I did not like the dentist. But like a smart pediatric place, they used to let us pick movies or shows to watch but the last time I checked they let kids go on Kids Netflix and choose a show. They also provide teeth diagrams after your cleaning to remind you where to brush. I used to put them up on my bathroom mirror to look at every time I brushed. I once had to get my tooth extracted (I hated taking my teeth out) and I was really nervous about the operation but the dentist calmed me down by telling me that the numbing was just the tooth fairy's high heels walking on my gums. It worked like magic, despite knowing that the tooth fairy didn't exactly exist. Healthy teeth start with a great dentist and there's no other dentist I would have started my teeth journey than with KidSmiles.

She is a fine dentist however, the way the office charged me for services was unethical. They submitted my procedure under one code and when Delta Dental said they would only pay so much, they then submitted it under a different code to make it look like they downgraded my procedure. This increased my cost 75% of what it should have been. I would not recommend this office.

I was told they would take X-rays first and then come get me, but that never happened. I eventually asked the receptionist if I could go back, and when I arrived, the cleaning was already finished. One of my daughters had some issues, so I asked Dr. Chang what she recommended and how the issue may have developed. She said she didn't know and that there was nothing she could do. When I asked if we should see a specialist, she again said she wasn't sure and probably go see another dentist for a second opinion. Overall, she did not seem knowledgeable, we felt rushed, and she didn't seem willing to answer my questions. A couple of hygienist was waiting on her to check on their patients, and the whole practice seemed overbooked. It felt like the dentist didn't take the time to listen to our concerns.

My child has ADHD and significant cavity anxiety, and we were in a tough spot when he couldn't be seen by his regular dentist. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Pang was calm, patient, and deeply professional. She explained everything clearly, moved at a pace that respected my child's needs, and created an environment where he felt safe enough to get through cavity fillings--something that previously felt impossible for him. What truly stood out was her steady, reassuring presence. She never rushed, never escalated the moment, and handled the situation with skill and compassion. Because of her, what could have been a traumatic experience became a manageable--and even empowering--one for my child. Huge shout-outs as well to Angie and Ashley, who were incredible. Not only were they wonderful with my child, but they also helped me stay calm and grounded as a parent. That kind of care makes a real difference. If you have a child with anxiety, ADHD, or special emotional needs around dental care, this is the team you want. We are so grateful.

After the procedure, I was informed that she needed to do an additional $600 of work. Further, her dentists advised that my son come back for cleanings every 2-3 months, which weren't covered by insurance. They also advised us to go to her husband who handles the orthodontic side for X-rays. My son is autistic and was showing anxiety over the x-rays. This frustrated him and he proceeded to yell at my son. His techs apologized for his behavior. He later came back better composed. The last incident, they prescribed some work and said I'd only have to pay $X. It came back that the insurance company only paid half of what was expected which required me to pay more. His new dentist and my dentist, who teaches, said that frequency of visits is completely unnecessary.

Dr. Han is extremely thorough, detailed, and sets the bar super high in terms of quality of care - top tier standards! The office is Immaculate and you can tell that he takes hygiene and sterilization seriously - something that means the world to me when it comes to medical care. If you're looking for a well-trained pediatric dentist with awesome credentials that offers state of the art care, come here! You won't be disappointed. Thank you, Dr. Han! p.s. Dr. Han can be very straightforward at times, but it's all in the interest of YOUR CHILD'S HEALTH AND CARE! To the people complaining, you should appreciate him being that way, instead of getting your feelings hurt.

My child's exam itself was smooth, but the dentist's behavior raised serious concerns about safety…read moreand professionalism. I recently had COVID, so masking is still a priority for me in medical settings. That's why I was shocked to see Dr. Han repeatedly enter the room with his mask under his chin -- especially when every member of his support staff wore their masks correctly the entire time. I asked him to cover his face, and he said he would "in a few minutes." He briefly masked during the exam, then removed it again during X‑rays while standing inches from my unmasked child. For a provider working in close proximity to children, this felt careless and unnecessary. On top of the inconsistent masking, Dr. Han made several sweeping, fear‑based claims about electric toothbrushes (gum recession, mold inside the handle, microplastics) without offering any evidence or nuance. These statements sounded more like YouTube talking points than professional dental guidance, and they didn't match our family's actual dental history or the excellent condition of my child's teeth. The whole appointment left me feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. My son will remain a patient here only because this is the practice our insurance covers, but the dentist's approach has seriously undermined my confidence in the care. Update: I want to clarify that my concern was not about "hurt feelings." It was about trust. When a medical provider dismisses a basic safety request and responds with inconsistent, fear‑based information, that's a breach of trust -- not a matter of tone. Parents deserve clear communication and professionalism, especially in a pediatric setting.

I had multiple unprofessional interactions with Dr. Katz in my short 20 minute appointment and the appointment wasn't even with him! On the flip side Ruth and Dr. Wong were INCREDIBLE! Ruth was very sweet with my daughter and let her play with all the instruments before using them to clean her teeth. Dr. Wong was smart, kind and professional. I have no idea why her and Ruth work at this practice. Dr. Katz made a racist joke about Dr. Wong's last name, kept touching my leg when I was sitting with my daughter and then spoke too closely to both of our faces which lead to me asking him to leave immediately. Very creepy situation. He seemed under the influence and disheveled with several spots on his face he missed shaving in addition to poor dental hygiene. I want to take my daughter back here since everyone but Dr. Katz were amazing. Maybe I'm crazy. I'm curious if any other parent's experience was similar to mine.
