    Beautiful day at the beach!!
    Ma R.

Best beach to take your dogs, even better for socializing your puppies. i have brought my 3 year old dog here before but we recently got a puppy who still needs socializing skills with people and other dogs and this place is perfect its relaxing and easy for her to meet dogs that are running unleashed, it helped her seeing all the dogs running around just playing. But please bring a potty bag to pick up after your dog just a friendly reminder, its no fun avoiding dog feces on the beach.

Snack Bar Menu and Pricing. Kids lunch with fries and a drink $8.95.

Visited THU 7/25/19, arrived around 11:45am. * PARKING INFO: $20 parking fee during week. $50 parking fee during weekends. Large parking lot that had plenty of available parking spaces right at beach entrance. * NICE DRIVE from the Danbury, CT area, only about 45-60 min. * CLEAN uncrowded beach * CLEAN bathrooms * SNACK BAR (see my pics for menu and prices) * LIFEGUARDS on duty * CELL service horrible though (maybe because we have Verizon?)

    Happy toes in warm sand

Maybe my review is not the best considering I haven't been to a beach in years but it was great lots of room for me and my friend. We had lots of snacks and fun time we weren't crowded we parked and got to the beach in just three minutes walking from our car. Then it was a bonus to find out Whole Foods was six minutes away.

    Beautiful beach

I absolutely love Jennings Beach, never too crowded, always clean and the people really nice. It's a hop, skip and a jump from where I live so it's always nice to visit the beach on a cool summers day. I will definitely be back at Jennings before the summer is over!

Not bad, however the beach needs a clean up. Also the cost to get on the beach is ridiculous.

Perfect beach in Fairfield! Not too crowded and very relaxing!

Perfect little beach in CT. I am from Long Island, so it's hard to beat those beaches, but this place is great. I go there to study, relax and eat lunch on my days off from class! Perfect little beach to hangout on and spend the last warm days of summer!!

Jennings Beach is a very clean place to be. Bathrooms and the beach sand says it all. Enough picnic tables and benches for families. I like the huge parking lot. Almost nothing bad to say except the beat up roads.

It's nice to have finally found a beach that allows dogs to be off-leash during their off months. There were plenty of pups there, but no trash cans or bags available to dispose of dog waste, therefore there were a good amount of droppings along the beach. It serves it's purpose, though! My dog left happy and tired!

The beach is so big that it's never crowded. Bottoms is sandy. Water is warm. Lifeguards are always there. We always have a ton of fun.

For a lighthouse lover like myself-Jackpot! The stroll is flat and easy (think the total length is 1/2 mile) and you can stop along the way to read some of the area history and also what types of fish swim nearby. I go here often to walk and appreciate nature and quiet, or to sit and watch the boats, the sunset, or the fishermen and women. It's a great spot to be outdoors and relieve stress or contemplate the meaning of life. There are a few picnic tables and benches. The whole area is always very clean. Parking is free for Bridgeport residents in season with a sticker, but I have never gotten a sticker and never had any issues. Keep it quiet and clean and keep your dogs on a leash , please, as this is a true oasis and you will be stunned it is actually in Bridgeport!

I arrived at 11ish, paid $22 (non-Connecticut residents have to pay) and found parking immediately. Around 12:30 the parking lots were at capacity and closed. I love how there's so much to do at the park. You can grill, go to the beach, go for a walk and even ride your bike. It's a great time. The beach is small and full of rocks and pebbles. The water was freezing even in the hot weather. The walk towards the water is even worse. There's rocks everywhere you step and can be extremely painful. My sister and I both cut our feet trying to get in and out of the water so I HIGHLY recommend getting some water shoes! My favorite parking lot is the west side only because there's a bathhouse where you can change, use the bathroom and take a shower. Highly recommend to come here for a fun beach day or picnic or grilling. Love love this place!

We compromised with a short stroll to the shore and back, just enough to enjoy the fresh air and the view of Long Island Sound. Seaside Park is a local gem with soft sand, big grassy areas for picnics, and scenic walking paths, all designed by the same folks behind Central Park. It has a welcoming historic archway and plenty of space to stretch your legs or just sit and watch the waves. For Bridgeport residents, it's very budget friendly at just $15 for an annual parking sticker. ( I got mine today) Non residents pay more about $35 a day for Connecticut visitors and about $55 for out of state guests. Even though our visit was short and sweet, my daughter was happy just feeling the beach. It's a peaceful spot for a summer afternoon, whether you're in for a long day or just a quick breath of ocean air.

I, for one, will travel embarrassing distances to see them live as we have MAYBE 2 years left before they become a complete shell of themselves. Father time is truly undefeated. After a 1.5 mile journey from the train that involved a few pre-rolls, we arrived at Seaside Park. We were greeted with piles of muddy grass, as there had been a torrential downpour the days before. The skies had profusely cried. I'm talking mud where if you put a decent amount of pressure on your step, your entire foot will be swallowed into the mud. We entered the festival around 5:30, with the chilis set to take the stage at 9:30. None of us really knew the openers, so we went to the GA+ lounge to grab some food and get off our feet for a bit. Oh yeah you read that correctly, we were in GA+ because we are LIKE THAT. Not quite like that enough to be in VIP though, but we workin. VIP lounge coming soon on everything I love. Much to my surprise, the GA+ lounge was beautiful and well set up, as there was ample seating, food trucks, and nice bathroom trailers. We fueled up on brisket sandwiches, fries, beer, a few more pre rolls, and a couple alleged cigarettes and were ready to go to the GA+ viewing section to secure our spots for the Chili's set. As I looked around at the crowd, I realized at 27, I am likely one of the youngest people here and one of the only people of color. Which, when I contemplate it, does make complete sense given the age of the headliners and also given that we are in Bridgeport, CT lol. We caught two openers: Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and Trey Anastasio Band. Nathaniel & the Night Sweats... I mean first of all what a cool name lol. "& The Night Sweats" really gets me lol idk why. He was a short stocky dude who could really sing and loved to flex how he could play ANY instrument. He went from the electric guitar, to the keyboard, to just vocals, to the acoustic guitar in 4 consecutive songs. He did this little thing with his fist as he was singing, where he would like subtly pump it when there was a drum kick. It was really cute ahahahaha. Overall, he was super entertaining. Trey Anastasio's set just felt extremely uninspired to me, idk. He was RIPPING that guitar in certain stretches, but like my big bro said, it felt like he was just playing in his room. I just didn't feel like the set was well rehearsed, and wasn't entertaining for me. I may get flamed for this, but it felt super geriatric. Just didn't do it for me. RHCP was next, and you could tangibly feel the anticipation from the crowd. It seemed everyone, including myself, came just to see the Chili's. Chad Smith, the drummer, hit the gong at 9:37pm to signal the start of their set. The gong sent chills through my axial skeleton, as it finally set in that I was going to see John Frusciante absolutely SHRED his 1962 Fender Stratocaster live. The intro jam, made up of Flea, Frusciante, and Chad improvising on the spot lasted about 5 minutes, and rolled right into Can't Stop as the first song. This set the tone for the night and had the crowd hooked like...idk I'm struggling to come up with a good metaphor, but we were hooked. I'm biased as I am a die hard Chili's fan, but they are just unbeatable live. They are so connected as a group and this shines through in their live performances. You really forget how many hits they have. Scar Tissue, By the Way, Dani California, Give it Away, etc. Frusciante also always changes his solos live, which keeps the songs fresh and as I imagine it's the only way it makes playing the same songs over and over again bearable lmao. People also SLEEP on their new stuff. Give "Eddie" and "Carry Me Home" an open and honest listen and tell me those aren't phenomenal tracks. After the show, it was an absolute blood bath to get back as the last train left at midnight. Patrons SHOVING to get on the train and when we made it on it was absolutely filled to the brim, people fighting over spots, and it was just a horrendous experience. But, I won't let that over shadow the show and the night overall. All in all, a great night. Thank you Seaside Park. Thank you Sound on Sound. Thank you RHCP. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__
