Needless to say, we came back to Piazzetta on the seventh night! The prices are great, especially if you just split a 13" pizza between two people. You can get it made half and half so that was the best way for us to do it and still get two different tastes! The three cheeze pizza was my favorite, and my friend liked the Sicilian (I'm not a fan of spicy so that was what was great about having half and half). The decor is also very nice and pastel/colored, feeling upscale but also fun and bright. The servers were very friendly and helpful. They even warm your plates on a little contraption that they bring over and attach to your table. Once your pizza arrives, they put the plates in front of you and then put the pizza on the warming plate, so that it stays hot the whole time you're eating it! We loved everything about this place. Definitely recommend!

Cheese & Basil Pizza - 4/5 This was a good personal size pizza. The crust was thin and crispy. The pizza sauce was a Pomodoro sauce, with mozzarella and fresh basil. A very nice simple delicious pizza. Italian Raclette - 4/5 This Italian roll was very good. It comes with Dijonnaise sauce, Swiss cheese, semi-dried tomatoes, red onion, grilled smoked prosciutto, mild salami, white wine onions, La Religieuse raclette cheese (Fromagerie du Presbytère) and chives, served with Dijonnaise sauce. This is a very good Italian roll to feast on. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at La Piazzetta. It's worth given this restaurant a try if you're in the area.

Pooh and I came here for lunch today…read more The restaurant itself is big on two floors (main and lower) the main floor has windows on two walls, one brick wall and one glass looking at the kitchen. Our server was very pleasant. We started off with a half Caesar salad each and then we shared the Dei Compari pizza. Also we ordered a pint of Moretti The salad was the perfect size and just the right amount of dressing. I don't usually have the croutons because they can be chewy but these were very crispy The pizza was delicious! The toppings were great and the crust was soft and chewy in a good way This pizza was supposed to have Italian sausage on it but neither of us tasted it nor saw it. Also we received the salad and then maybe 30 seconds later the pizza. We were sitting at a table that couldn't have more than two people so when the pizza arrived we had to move items around so we could eat both at the same time When we finished our salad the bowls sat there through the whole meal. There were at least three servers here so I thought one of them could have come and removed the bowls to give the table some breathing room The food was great; the service needs to be improved.

Seriously, Yelp needs to up its game in Québec, because places like this one aren't getting the attention they deserve. The pulled pork sandwich had a generous amount of meat. The 12-hour smoking process did indeed liberate a good amount of smoky aroma and make the pork somewhat tender. It's lighter on the sauce and heavier on the smoke than any other pulled pork I tried which gave a more authentic impression. Amazing coleslaw - wished I had more. Fries are the soft kind, very lightly salted. The "spicy" mayo (some kind of very salty habanero with hot sauce) was not that good. Being a smokehouse it's obviously not cheap. The pulled pork sandwich with fries was a good value at $20 + tip. A pint of Fin du Monde $10 + tip. Steaks are in the $30+ range but seeing the impressive meat ageing cabinet by the entrance, I might go back to try one. If you're passing by Chambly and are in the mood for smoky meat, this is the place to be. For parking, there's a lot on rue Ostiguy across from Bedondaine & Bedons Ronds (also a place to check out).

Pizzaiolle Mont Royal is Montreal's best in class Neapolitan style pizza. Yes this happens to be my favorite style, so I'm full of anticipation. The dining space itself could not have been more impressive. A massive outdoor patio straight out of a garden magazine, and a beautiful rustic interior full of modern features. The entire property is picturesque! As far as the pizza, at Pizzaiolle the dough is everything. Sure the ingredients are fresh and plentiful, but somehow they do feel a little subtle in flavor. But I cannot understate how good this crust is. This pillowy dough is simply unbelievable. And totally unexpected? The ceaser salad with anchovies might be the best I've ever had. Maybe next time I'll get anchovies on the pizza ! When you have been in business since 1981, you must be doing something right. Pizzaiolle is a staple in Montreal, and rightfully so.

We were here as walk-in for 4 people on a weeknight and there wasn't a wait. We had the: - large gnocchi with ricotta and herb pesto to share - large homemade ravioli (chef's special) to share - margherita pizza - simplicy, 4 cheese, pesto pizza - they added some free pizza bread for us to wipe up the sauces from the pasta - plus their house lemonade The food was great and the service excellent. The time between ordering and the pasta was around 10 mins. Very quick, fresh, and hot. They provided plates to share and we got down to it. The portions are good and very saucy. Save the pizza crusts to mop up any sauce! While we were there, there were lots of pickups/deliveries and other patrons coming in and out. It was a pretty popular local spot. The ambience is chic modern with dark woody themes. It's a nice a social house feel and the windows gives you a great view to people watch. Great for a group to enjoy the food, drinks, and chill out.

I went for the Mediterranean pizza--a wild, briny, beautiful mess. Rapini, olives, anchovies, sun-dried tomatoes, lemon zest... it was like someone condensed the Amalfi coast into a perfect thin crust. Salty, zesty, slightly bitter in the best way--this pie slaps if you've got the palate for bold flavors. MAMMA MIA! Deliciosso! Finocchio! Service? Sharp. Atmosphere? Grown-up but not uptight. Stella isn't trying to reinvent the pizza wheel--it's just spinning it better than most.
