I offered to pay for the full appointment each time and do a shorter massage. Once she did a shorter massage and didn't charge me the whole amount even though I insisted. The second time I was told no, that she was already doing other things now. This was during the ADHD med shortage and I explained that to them and they still cancelled my future appointments and dropped me as a client, which is their own prerogative but when I asked about that she was also very rude to me about it. Also dropped my husband as a client as well with no explanation to him at all. It really saddened me, because I'm human and life happens but she made me feel really disappointed in myself for not being neurotypical. Again, therapists can choose their clients, but it really bummed me out. I was a monthly client before this, every other week when I could book into her busy schedule. I really looked forward to our massages because I have MS and it was super sad to be dropped. Again, I understand her reasoning I just wish she had been more understanding. I'm sure she doesn't need me as a client because she's always booked.

I have to say, hands down, Ellen is the best massage therapist I've ever had in the United States…read more I've lived in multiple states and moved around a bit so I know how rare it is to find an amazing massage therapist I never want to let go. I don't book sessions as frequently as I'd like but when I do book sessions I usually book a 90-minute Swedish massage. The first time I emailed the email address listed on the website Ellen responded via text pretty soon afterwards. Since then, I communicate with her via text to schedule appointments and she can usually fit me in her schedule within a couple of days. The place is a set of tiny rooms in a building of businesses but works. Ellen has magic hands. She is able to suss out my problem areas during the sessions and let's me know even when I'm feeling it but haven't quite figured out the issues yet. I take her assessments seriously and work to improve the problem areas she identifies (I call them problem areas, not her). I highly recommend Ellen at Wilson Therapeutic & Medical Massage.

Her practice is located within a medical massage office, in an office park right here in Methuen, not even 15 minutes from where I live, which is great. Jacqui is a skilled, knowledgeable licensed massage therapist who gets into those hard to treat areas that others don't typically treat- (I'm talking Psoas release, TMJ work, and some deep glute work.) Tell her what ails you and she'll focus on exactly what your body needs to heal.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the WORST place I have been to for a massage ever…read more The massage therapists are pleasant & do a good job but it is run TERRIBLY. I have never experienced such poor management in my life. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone or email. I leave multiple messages & after about 5 voicemails I will receive a call back or they happen to answer. I was told by one of their reps when I finally reached someone to complain that they wouldn't have answered my call but had recognized my number as I had called complaining before. I have a complaint into the better business bureau of MA & they won't even return their calls. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It has been MONTHS of arguing and trying to reach someone here to speak to. I was told multiple times after countless attempts the owner (Carol) would call me back & I have yet heard from them. Please keep in mind this has been going on since I started visiting them in Jan 2019 and has nothing to do with the lack of response time due to COVID-19. I received a monthly membership package for Christmas & little did I know it would be the gift from hell. Each appointment I tried to call & book took 2-3 weeks to arrange. I finally gave up trying to deal with them & canceled my membership & have been trying to get reimbursed & speak with someone surrounding it since June 2019.
