Kim does her nails. I sat down and the water was perfect in the tub..my feet were immediately like "this is nice". Sofia started and began with the scrub. It was scratchy at first but then was pleasant. She went on to remove the horrid dead skin from my feet and I felt sorry for her. Again, been a year and me trying at home was more.like buff off the hard parts kind of. She got the deaf skin off and my feet felt like pillows. So soft! Because its been so long, my feet were super sensitive and that sucked but, it wasn't her fault. She painted my toes (gel of course in a nice dark lavender). Twice i have spoken up and both times I was talked back to with "your so picky" "the pickiest customer here". 1st time it was checkered print on my nails and both hands didn't match up, she fixed on the spot but was agitated i spoke up. 2nd time was just a few days ago and I sent a pic and she said she could do it. I wanted ghosts but they looked like puppy dogs. I went home and was displeased so I then asked to have redone, I went with a simple color as asking for detailed work doesn't seem to be her specialty and they agreed to change for free. What i didn't like was how i was treated by the nail tech, seems she didn't like hearing that her work was unsatisfactory and her having the audacity to say "you do your nails and then show me how to do it" I said excuse me, Your the nail tech not me and im the PAYING customer and you won't talk to me like that. 12 plus years going here seeing most everyone of the nail techs and I wont be back, learn how to take criticism and dont argue with the customer. If you say you can do a design then do it and do it right. Don't give fuss back telling customer their so picky when your lack of details skills and hurrying is the problem.

I booked a pedicure service, and the three foot spa/sink areas were all out of service. My foot soak was in a shallow plastic dish of cold water. The top of my feet were exfoliated, presumably because it was all that could be easily rinsed. I am not sure what the issue was, but there was not hot or running water. They should not be offering this service as listed. It is a misrepresentation. I was charged $58 for the service, so with tip, I paid nearly $90 for a spa pedicure service that I could have done at home, but with hot water. I felt terrible for the young nail tech because she was truly fabulous and clearly making the best of what her employer had available; but she's never going to be able to build a book of business without functioning spa equipment. The actual polish service was pristine and will probably last a few months or more. I would absolutely book a service with the tech again, if she moved to another spa. However, even if the owner decided to bring her business out of disrepair, I'm not sure I'd return because of the bait and switch, and willingness to destroy that young woman's early professional development.

Alina S. did my hair and makeup for my wedding. We had a small, intimate ceremony with family, but I still really wanted to feel special and bridal while also looking like myself. I normally wear very little makeup, so I asked for something natural with gold and brown tones. Of course it felt a little more glamorous than my everyday makeup in person, but it photographed PERFECTLY. Alina was incredibly sweet and easy to talk to. My now mother-in-law came along with me, and we both really enjoyed talking with her throughout the appointment. Another stylist also stepped in to help with my hair, which I really appreciated. It was obvious that they were making an effort to keep everything moving and make sure I was happy and ready on time. My only feedback is really more for Ulta's bridal scheduling than for Alina. It seemed like regular salon appointments were booked pretty tightly around my bridal appointment, and we started a little later than expected. Everything ultimately finished on time, but there was definitely a moment where I worried about the wedding timeline. I'm a pretty low-maintenance bride, so I mostly just felt bad that the stylists seemed to be under that kind of time pressure! For something as time-sensitive and once-in-a-lifetime as wedding hair and makeup, I think giving bridal appointments a little extra breathing room would make the experience even better. Maybe providing a survey or pre-appointment questionnaire to make sure everyone is on the same page, prepared, and know if specific wants can be expected to be fully accommodated would help both parties. None of that takes away from how happy I was with Alina's work. I would absolutely trust her with my hair and makeup for a larger wedding or another special event.
