Entrance with a traffic light is located both on Virginia Beach Boulevard, which the buildings face, & Kempsville Road. The location is also easily accessible from I-264. The handicapped parking is extremely convenient & plentiful at the Leigh Orthopedic Surgery Center. The spaces face the entrance & continues around each side of the building. I've never had to park in the spaces that require a short walk. A covered circular drive thru is a convenient drop off point at the main entrance. No valet parking is available. I've had therapy at Sentara Hand Therapy & Sentara Therapy Center- Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. I've had MRI's at the Advanced Imaging Center. My Shoulder & Elbow Orthopedic Surgeon does outpatient surgery in the building. But my recent Elbow Surgery, although outpatient, was scheduled at the hospital itself. The practice requires anyone who has a Cardiologist to have surgery at the hospital, where emergency personnel are more easily accessible. My experience with both therapy & the MRIs has been excellent. The equipment & facility is state of the art in this excellent sparkling clean Medical Center. Technology is sophisticated, extending as far as doors being opened by a sensor activated by the wave of a palm. There are also hand sanitizer stations in plentiful supply in the building. Access from Brambleton near the Midtown Tunnel is convenient not just for Norfolk, but also Portsmouth, Chesapeake, the Shore Drive corridor in Virginia Beach & the Northern sections of Suffolk. The entire staff is friendly & helpful, from the check-in desk, Medical Assistants & Nursing Staff to the Physicians. I love the way they remember you from one appointment to the next. My last visit was with Dr. Volsky, the Otologist I was referred to for a lifetime issue that had never previously been diagnosed. My appointment with the EVMS Hearing & Balance Center was to provide him information for this appointment. Dr. Volsky came through the waiting room late & in scrubs, having been called away for an emergency surgery. But such can be expected for physicians of his caliber. It also gave me time to complete the extensive questionaire, which I later learned (unlike a lot of physicians) he actually studied before entering the examination room. It was a long wait in the exam room. But I didn't mind. Patients with earlier appointments had to be seen first. They too had been waiting for him to return from surgery. Dr. Volsky completed an extensive examination & knew my other conditions & medications. I was extremely happy with his level of care & the next steps he ordered performed. He was congenial & extremely knowledgeable. Completing my satisfaction level was his question as to whether I had a ride. Although his exam didn't reach that of the Hearing & Balance Center, it did make me slightly off balance and dizzy. This is a practice that I highly recommend. You will leave knowing you're had a great level of care.

This isn't something I ever would have considered earlier in my life--not for any particular reason, I just wouldn't have done it. However, for the past four months, I have been working with Dennis Bueso, MA, RD (Clinical/Sports Dietitian), and the experience has been nothing like I expected. Being very overweight, I anticipated someone taking charge of the conversation and lecturing me on what I 'better' start doing. I think TV gave me a twisted idea of how these things go. Thankfully, it hasn't been like that at all. Our conversations are excellent and open. Mr. Bueso is incredibly 'chill' and immediately sets you at ease; it feels like a normal, back-and-forth conversation between two people. He is great at following up and is just a genuinely easy person to talk to. Since starting, I've seen amazing results. For those who know what A1C is, mine had been double what it should be for over five years. In just four months, I've brought it down to exactly where it's supposed to be. I give myself credit for controlling my diet, but Dennis has been instrumental in helping me understand what to watch and work on. In addition to the blood work, I've lost over 30 pounds in that same timeframe. I definitely want to give props and thanks to Mr. Bueso. If your doctor has recommended a dietitian, just do it. I worried about how it would go, but those worries were unnecessary. It has been a great experience. I get it, the first impression can make or break a business, but I promise that not everyone has the same experience, and more of them that I know of are positive. I had trisculpt and their abex procedure. Everything from my initial consultation through the surgery (which was yesterday) has been great. The front desk ladies are very friendly, Liz whom I had my consultation with, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The Doctor and Nurse on my surgery day yesterday, took great care of me. Dr. Centeno, who IS a board certified plastic surgeon, loves what he does and loves helping men and women feel the best about themselves that they can. Go ahead and do it girl ‍

Please look for Brandi Baker and see my prior review; as a result, I am posting this open letter…read moremost recently sent: "I was cut off while leaving a message, and have sent previous emails suggesting a solution, where instead of discounting the revision fee of 2500$ can I just be refunded and Sonobello and I can consider this situation resolved?   It is convenient that now there's a "waist lipo" procedure for about 7500$ where a 360 procedure is documented in literature as well as my other medivcal consults, to include the waist, and therefore I should not have to pay an additional $7000 or $5000 from a falsely marketed procedure that doesn't produce100% effectiveness as the commercials and your consultations lead the patient to expect. The customer is not made aware that this truly is a NOT body circumference of 360 degrees because mostly it requires full anesthesia to reach actually and safely reach those depths within the tissue around your abdomen but customers are deceived into thinking that this will be achieved they will literally see results "all around" the full abdomen area we paid for. Please present this to necessary parties at the local office in Norfolk VA and see if again I can just get what was quoted in my package as "waist area" but yet I have extra skin lapsing in the sides of abdominal area, creating an undesired non-aesthetic appearance, and of course causing me as a consumer to ultimately spend thousands more for a repair the company is not willing to negotiate at a reasonable rate and not even consider it a revision but an additional surgery.  We as healthcare consumers are entitled to the same rights as any other type consumer that ensures proper regulation and practices and we also have medical protections within our state surgical and plastic surgical licensing entities and board certification agencies. There are several lawsuits existing throughout the country against the corporation and their unsatisfactory practices that can be googled and freely obtained by the public so I would just like to receive a partial refund and leave the situation gracefully and not have to continue with the legal courses of actions I have initiated for my protection as a consumer." I was told that I would receive expert advice from this orthopedist, however Dr. Graham was completely incompetent. He told me incorrect information about muscle insertions, didn't know proper muscle names, and he even told me I needed to cut running out of my life forever to keep the pain away. As a 25 year old and a soon-to-be Doctor of Physical Therapy, I know for an absolute fact that he is wrong and it is disheartening to see that there are doctors out here like this. Please consult you primary care doctor or physical therapist for another recommendation before coming here. Dr. Graham should be retired and I am taking steps to get his license revoked.

My dermatologist sent me to Virginia Plastic Surgery for emergency reconstruction of my nose. Dr. Morbia was able to take me the same day. My nose is very sensitive, but he numbed it enough that I only felt some odd tugging, as he used existing loose skin in the area to rebuild my nose. By the time I drove home, across the bay, I felt an ache starting, and needed a couple ibuprofen and an ice pack to control pain and swelling. It is an amazing work. I am immensely grateful for Dr. Morbia's amazing skill and ability to help me on short notice.
