A wonderful woman from corporate racked out( shout out to Abby) genuinely concerned about my issues and did her best to work with me and the company on a reasonable solution . I have to get the surgery, I was worried about the cost, and fortunately they were able to prawns something reasonable and hopefully negotiable at the final financing process! Went to this location at 10am today which was 15 prior to my appointment per their request that I use the fill out paperwork. My appointment was at 10:15. Now I knew I was in for a ride when that receptionist doesn't even look at me when she's addressing me. So I get my paperwork and it takes me 10 minutes to fill out and I hand it back to the ever so polite receptionist. She tells me it should be about 5 minutes and they will see me. So I sit and wait, and wait I do. 20 minutes goes by and I go back to the receptionist and ask what's up She hits with a canned response that she's sorry it should only be a few more minutes. Never mind that I took note of the 4 people waiting whom were also still waiting. Another 15 minutes pass and one person gets called back and I head back to the counter and ask how much longer and that I'd been there 46 minutes. Exactly the same canned responses that I got word for word. I'm sorry it'll be just a few minutes, with an eye roll. This receptionist seems to think I'm there for them. So I sit back down and no one is being called back, I wait another 15 minutes. Now at the hour mark being in there generic office, I'd had enough and went back to the receptionist and didn't wait for the canned response, I said when you respect my time, you get my money! The one thing that the subpar reviews on this page have in common is that they didn't really use Sonobello. I get it, the first impression can make or break a business, but I promise that not everyone has the same experience, and more of them that I know of are positive. I had trisculpt and their abex procedure. Everything from my initial consultation through the surgery (which was yesterday) has been great. The front desk ladies are very friendly, Liz whom I had my consultation with, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The Doctor and Nurse on my surgery day yesterday, took great care of me. Okay so.... update.... after speaking with several amazing people from the clinic and corporate I have been compensated for my experience. As a whole Sono Bello has been very accommodating and respectful. They understand that I have not been feeling well and that this recovery gas been rough. They have offered many services to try and alleviate my pain. Honestly my body is just taking this procedure hard. If your body is telling you something listen to it. I am still in pain everyday but my swelling is gone and so is my bruising. I still have some hard lumps, but sono bello is going to take care of those for me. I just completed my second stage of procedures at sonobello. My consultation appointment with Ariel was absolutely amazing and is what convinced me to go through with my procedure. Everything that followed after is why I can't give 5 stars. First of all, I wasn't told I would need to be staged until my pre-op appointment (which is fine). My pre-op appointment was also changed to two hours later, the day of. I had my first stage of surgery and it went super well, except for the fact that i was told to show up 3 hours earlier than necessary. Following my first procedure, my second stage garment hadn't been ordered yet so I had to wait a few days for that. Prior to my second stage of surgery, I had to call not once but FOUR times to get my surgery medications placed. I also have not received my 24 hour post op phone call as stated by the physician. The surgery's themselves went well, but they could definitely use some work on the clerical side of things if they want to keep clients happy and reassured! I am big on continuity of care and phone calls being returned and Sonobello Norfolk definitely needs to work on these things! I won't have a review on my results until i'm more healed. Actually this company deserves a zero rating. My wife had a 3pm appointment and when we ask what was going on at 3:45 pm, we was told, we just need to wait someone would be with you. At 4pm, we left. We do not recommend this business to anyone for any reason. read more

I had my consultation today. Half hour late but that's acceptable to me. Friendly staff. I have had cosmetic procedures done before so I know the sales game with this stuff to a degree. I was hoping Sono Bello would be different but they aren't. Your consult is with a sales representative. Mine was extremely friendly and good at her job but I knew what was going on. I wasn't pressured first of all. However I feel like as in other experiences at other clinics they really make doing one area so expensive it's absurd. To get an average rate (national average) or a bit better than the national average as I was offered, I had to buy 3 areas. They count your stomach as 2 areas. So double chin and stomach (two areas in my view) is still a lot. They give you "discounts" for this and that to make the numbers look consumer friendly. At the very bottom they list a "surgical fee" that's $127 MORE than my discounts. Also, there's a fee for pre-operative appointment for $495. It's similar to buying a car with dealer discounts. By the time they add fees and extras, you're not saving anything. Smoke and mirrors. I understand the amount of fat removed has an effect on the price supposedly but just for my chin it was going to be $3900. I don't have that much fat to remove. So to add my stomach (counts as 2 areas no matter the amount of fat; huh?) AFTER "discounts" I was quoted just under 8 grand. Im going to price compare locally then decide. Ill follow up. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I made an appointment a week ago. I received several text reminders which also included that I needed to be here 15 mins prior to my appointment time (the irony of this to come in a moment). I live over an hour away from this location on a good day- nevermind if you get stuck at one of the tunnels. I was strategic about my appointment time in hopes to avoid the high-traffic times of the day. I get here today only to be told that I have a two-hour wait because they're running "extremely behind" and that the two appointments before me hadn't even been taken back. Why wouldn't they call and let this be known ahead of time? I am now making a 2.5 hour round-trip for absolutely nothing. To say that I am livid is an understatement. I have four kids and a husband who works, this was beyond just an inconvenience and the idea that they expected me to sit there for another two hours just to be seen is so ridiculous, it's almost comical. And how do they even get two hours behind schedule?! This is absolutely unacceptable, and they were so nonchalant about it, as if this is no big deal and happens all the time. If I even decide to reschedule at all, it will 100% be at a different location. And I surely hope that this isn't the standard across all locations. read more

RUNNNNNN.... DO not and i repeat DO NOT use this firm. I don't care who recommend you and their results. The ladies in the Norfolk, VA office are rude, dismissive and very unprofessional. The lady that did my initial consultation seemed very nice in the beginning. And went over and beyond assuring me that i would receive my desired affect/image. Welp that was short lived as i went for my pre-op after signing and paying for the procedure. The surgeon had me change and attempted to confirm the end goal for me. upon evaluating and discussing she then informed me that she could remove the fat but i would have alot of loose saggy skin. the procedure i need is called a back lift and Sono Bella don't offer it. She then assured me that she had spoke with the office manager and i would be refunded. Well low and behold that was in March here we are in May and im still getting the run around re: my refund. i was told that it take 3-10 days well Jesus must be bringing my refund with the resurrection cause i have yet to get it. Now conveniently unavailable or with a patient and has never returned a single phone call. Hence this review it could have easliy been and apology i miss understood your desired look and a refund vs playing with my money. Play with your mama and children im not the one. read more

I had my surgery back in April 2022..... Great results and GREAT results. I am needing a revision though and i am ONLY here for a few more weeks and I wish they could fit me in sooner . Completely my fault for the last minute but with working 7 days a week it's hard. Now that my schedule has slowed down I'm ready! I just don't think I will be able to come back once we leave just to have my surgery since I live 14 hours away. Once we leave here the new job starts and I most de won't have time so I'm just praying I can get in way sooner !!!! read more

I had my consult with Ariel 4/7/23 was told that if my BP was not at a safe level before my procedure that i would get my deposit back 100%. Had my pre-op visit 4/11/23 BP was still high, but scheduled surgery date was already set for 5/3/23. I was advised to go to my primary doctor for a clearance in which i did on 4/25/23. I showed up for my procedure yesterday 5/3/23 and the nurse took my BP and it was high, I told her that you need to take it manually but she just ignored me, I told her I was very nervous and scared. They gave me something for my BP and let me wait. Nurse came in and did my BP again with the machine and it was still high asked her to do it manually and again ignored. She checked it 3 times as i was sitting there and the machine had off the wall numbers back to back 113/80 to 200/81 crazy! Dr. came in to talk to me about rescheduling my appointment, I told them I can not reschedule do to my work and taking care of my mother who is on Hospice. I left totally upset that i couldn't get my surgery and didn't understand why they couldn't have me come in weeks prior to have my BP checked. I have been calling the office since yesterday with no response of a call back. No-one called me yesterday to see how i was doing or even to check on me cause they know I was very upset. I feel like I have been scammed out of my money!!!! Do NOT go to this place they are all full of smiles when you walk in and as soon as you sign your paperwork NOTHING!!! read more

All of the staff are AMAZING!!! From the girls at the front desk to the consultation to the procedure. They took fantastic care of me and were sympathetic to my nerves in regard to the procedure. The procedure went well and days after saw instant results. I would highly recommend laser lipo to anyone that is struggling with the extra fluff. read more
