On several occasions, I missed appointments purely unintentionally, at this office. "My bad" - without question or excuse. So, my conscience being my guide, led me to go to Dr. Duggal's office to hopefully explain the extenuating circumstances regarding these missed appointments. I was very hesitant, thinking that I might be kicked out of her practice! And rightfully so - if that were the case...but it was NOT. I was permitted to speak to Dr. Duggal's Office Manager, "Summer." She allowed me entrance in to her office, quietly closing the door, and I began by apologizing profusely saying that in no way do I ever want to miss an appointment because that would have been someone else's spot. "Summer" listened intently to the extenuating circumstances I shared, explaining that I was not there to tell her my life's problems, but that these truly were the prevailing circumstances. With aplomb, she sat quietly and with an open mind, allowing me space to share this unfortunate life circumstance that is prevailing, continued listening. I was so overwhelmed by her professionalism, kindness and caring that at one point I became a tad weepy. In her kindness, she offered me a tissue. Where on this planet would any patient be afforded the opportunity and TIME to be heard? WHERE? No where that I know of...no where. I will never forget this as long as I live. This office is a gift to the medical profession in this town, and Dr. Duggal's entire staff is as well. Always welcoming patients with tender smiles, kind nods, and lending ears. Such an example to other medical offices here...I absolutely cannot THANK Dr. Duggal's office staff enough, and in particular, "Summer" for who she is...a true, caring professional in the medical field. I like to think of YELP reviews as presenting experiences that lend themselves to the readers' own mind of discerning the "right" or "wrong" of a situation. Often times readers "get their panties in a wad" over an experience that is not shed in good light. Why? Let's all seek to be the SOLUTION to a problem or "one-off" experience that is not good...instead of crucifying the reviewer for sharing a problem - further demonstrating the truth of the review and of their inability to accept constructive criticism.

Some of them are meaning to put a review and pictures of Dignity Health Memorial Hospital, which is very close and nearby but it has a different address and building and is a hospital and not the same. Same company yes, but completely different building, doctors and services. You wouldn't put a review for Kaiser-Stockdale under Kaiser-Coffee, because it makes no sense. Same here. The address I see some reviews for SHOULD be under 420 34th st, NOT 3838 San Dimas, Building A, Ste 200.

They need some work. My dad went to the ER last week for shortness of breath and chest pain. He's…read morecurrently battling cancer and his doctor at UCLA has been taking great care of him but this came out of no where. He was seen after waiting longer than he should have for chest pain. They did some lab work and did some CT scans. He arrived a little after 10am and was not seen by a doctor go to over his results and stuff until after 3pm. They finally admitted him because of fluid build up on the lungs. The nurses were very kind and attentive while we were there with him, that's the reason I gave them a second star. However, he was there for almost 3 days and barely got any sleep. He said the nurses at the desk were watching videos or something and he could hear their videos and them laughing all night on top of them having to come check his blood sugar and everything every 2 hours. That part is fine, they should be checking regularly but keeping patients up by laughing and watching videos is crazy. When he was in the hospital at UCLA they turned out the lights at night and the nurses never made a sound other than walking around to check on patients. I'm an Adventist patient myself and I really like my GP but this hospital needs to get some things in better order. The lobby looks dirty, only 1 elevator works right now, there is just a lot going on that needs improvement. Hopefully they get it together and make some positive changes soon.

This is impossible, and calling the Clinic takes you straight to a call center. If you need to give the Dr's nurse a message, or inquire about anything it is not an efficient system. Then there are the referrals. I had to call twice this morning. First person said I did in fact have 3 separate referrals and gave me the Ph#'s and names of the offices related to each referral. Calling those offices they either did not have the referral, or could see part of what was needed to book me an appointment. The lady at the hospital I was trying to make one of the appointments at advised me she has had to call Clinica Sierra Vista several times and request the Dr's orders to help other patients get in for their appointments. She said many patients go through this back and forth and are unable to book their appointments through this process, they have to go into their Dr's office and request a copy of the order to get in for the appointments. This is unacceptable. Many of us are obviously ill and this isn't 1980, there is NO reason this should be so hard. And seeing the Dr, I love the medical professionals and staff at my Dr's office in Wofford Heights! Always friendly and helpful. The only problem I have is that if I have 2 reasons, or more, to see the Dr I am supposed to make an appointment for each. For people like myself with several issues, and a job, this is an impossible request. My health needs are NOT being met fully because of your company's procedures. Procedures that make you tons of money, and leave us without our needs addressed. Do better!!!!

We come in about twice a month. EVERY time we come we wait in lobby for upwards of 30 minutes. Every time. Once we FINALLY get called back, we wait for about 30-45 minutes. Most of the time all they do is ask how she feels, and if theirs any change in her medication. The staff is extremely vague, and ALWAYS behind schedule. 10/10 would not recommend this place. Not only for their non-punctuality, but they never seem to even treat her for anything either. Just prescribe something new and hope that works.

They do not stay true to your appointment time. The wait still takes forever. I spend almost 3 hours in the room waiting for a 5-minute conversation with the doctor. They gave me a bunch of diagnostic tests to do, and I scheduled appointments dates/times for all of them. Then a day before, they called to cancel and reschedule one of my appointments after I had already cleared that day for it because they were "low on supplies" (well how unfortunate...), and my new appointment wasn't gonna be until another month later! Eventually, I just told them I refuse to do that particular test. Also, their call system is all weird... the voicemails that they leave me do not get to me until hours later and when I try to call back, no one picks up or the office is already closed. Should be 1 star, but I'll add another because the MD is good.
