Both Jeremiah and Gwyneth were extremely professional and talented. They were easy to work with from the very beginning. They answered all of our questions with detail and made us feel comfortable. On top of that, their rates were affordable! (Not like some of the other photographers that we had initially comparison shopped) After we chose to hire them, they noted every detail we wanted and asked us more questions that we didn't even originally think of! These two are professionals that actually know what they are doing! They coordinated everything with our venue, planning out specific spots beforehand. When our Big Day came, they were there bright and early, ready to go! They were energetic and friendly. They surpassed my expectations of how well they captured our special day! They captured all of the specifics that we had requested beforehand, and on top of that, Gwyneth came up with some beautiful shots on the spot that day. She even captured some requests that we had slipped in that day! Gwyneth has such a great eye for detail and composition. To start, Jeremiah and Gwyneth were both very professional and easy to work with. When we contacted them, they quickly made us feel at ease as they took us through the variety of options. We had been doing lots of comparison shopping and had preliminary conversations with photographers before, but not only did the price ranges include flexibility and affordability, but Sheepdog made us feel comfortable. Right away. That's important, and hard to come by in a competitive market. Once we formally selected them, they got the job done. They coordinated with the Planners and venue, and played an integral role in ushering us through our Big Day (and capturing every moment). They were a hit with the guests, performing their duties with the utmost professionalism, but also providing a warm and welcome energy that tied the proceedings together beautifully. Kudos to Gwen for sustaining such a high energy level. She rocked AND rolled, zipping from vantage point to vantage point, remaining unobtrusive while being ever present to capture the perfect moment. And that they did. The color, composition, and quality are of the highest order. They captured the feeling and tone perfectly, while making us look better than we've ever seen in a mirror. When you write your policy or the rules you play by you must honor those guidelines. When you break them when they inconvenience you it destroys any creditability you have. They canceled due to Covid. Let me repeat YOU CANCELED of thier wedding. Now your are refusing to refund the party that paid for it even tho your policy states that anything out of the parties hands would be refunded. Are you saying covid is their fault? You dont get to set the rules and break them. A business with no morals is not a business I would ever support nor recommend to anyone no matter how good they are.

Seriously, if you miss watching Toddlers and Tiaras, stop on by and check out the divas waiting for their kiddies to have their glamour shots done. Despite the angry mob outside, our photographer (young guy, wish I'd gotten his name) made us feel very comfortable. We'd brought in some cheesy homemade Super Mario Bros props and I I wasn't sure what kind of reaction we'd get, but he totally rolled with it and gave us awesome direction while keeping us laughing so we didn't look all stiff and awkward. After the shoot we were able to select the pics we wanted, and the woman who helped us was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the shots had turned out, and it was hard to narrow it down to 3! Checkout was a breeze and we were able to leave with a cd of our pics, but we'll have to go back to pick up prints next week. Would be nice if they could print the pics in store and offer same day service, but for the price I can't really complain.

I had specifically raised my concerns regarding the lighting, since my party was held indoors. Bryan assured me that would not be an issue, as he would bring his equipment. I imagined he would bring his own lighting equipment, which was not the case. The pictures clicked by my friends were far better quality and they captured some of the important moments that Bryan failed to do. Bryan is a very nice person to work with. He is professional , punctual and courteous, however, the pictures I received were poorly captured. Some snaps had wires and poor flooring captured in the frame, which I feel he could have strategically avoided. A lot of our guests entering the function hall had their backs clicked, and I only wish, he would have told us to turn around. I choose 1000 words photography because of the excellent reviews he had, his professionalism and the pictures he posted on his website. I also hired him for video, which I haven't received yet, while the contract clearly states that I would get them in 28 days. The videographer did not even have a mic with him, hence I am not sure if my parent's speeches were captured. What kind of video is taken without recording the family speeches? I spent way over my budget on photo and videography just to get really beautiful pictures, and I was asked to make full payment 2 weeks before the event. The snaps of my engagement party were so disappointing that I had to share my experience for anyone considering 1000 words photography as their photographer (or for videography).
