The lady went over the cost, my insurance covered everything. Well the dentist decided to shave the bone down on both sides and put stitches in my mouth. I never ask or authorized this . There were two dentist in room with me and one Tod the other, " let me show you how to do it". I shook my head no when I realized he was cutting my gum but he didn't stop. After it was over he said you got that bone shaved down for free. We weren't supposed to do it and it wasnt charged to your insurance. About 15 months later I get a bill for $652 that insurance didn't cover. Guess what? It was for that bone shaving that wasn't authorized or ask for or even talked about. I called Aspen and they hit rude when I tried to explain things to them. I also contacted my insurance company. I feel like I shouldn't pay for something that I wasn't supposed to receive and didn't ask for. And he even said he wasn't authorized to do it. Please be careful if you go here. I had dentures made in Florence, paid out of pocket and they fit perfectly!! Really Aspen Dental should have to reinburse me for what I paid in Florence since they messed my mouth up and I could never use the denture they made. I had to give 1 star. I wish there was a 0.

The receptionist is only the beginning of the awful customer service and the "dentist " is the end of the awful customer service! Would never recommend this awful place to anyone! I experienced the worst customer service dealing with the front office. My first encounter was to…read morecall and get a cost estimate, where I was told it was State law to have an x-Ray. Doubting this I contacted the state who conveyed no such requirement. I called the receptionist to enlighten her that it is not a law, and her response way to hang up on me! When my wife decided to use them because still a lower price, I went with her to have a tooth repaired on my lower set. As I asked the receptionist about this she flat out lied again saying they did not do repairs. I had a flyer/brochure into hand that said they did it, and she again so no. Several days later I called to make appt for follow up for wife, and requested to speak with dentist. He called and said yes we do repair. Made apps for us both. We both arrived , and as I was given ppwrk to do I related that dentist said why they possibly could not do the repair. The answer I got was "whatever" from a old lady! I go to one and my husband goes to a different one and we are both happy with their care. The front office is caring and professional. We've been going here since Dr. Brown was here about 20+ years and are pleased with Dr. Henry and her care which is excellent.
