    Really bad experience. Dr Chun is very very busy, hard to schedule the appt. and she won't spend much time on your teeth.

    Choosing this place was one of the best decisions I made for my kids. My teenager is currently in…read moretreatment here and I am already thrilled with the results so far. Dr Sharma presented both Invisalign and braces option. She warned about compliance as kids tend to not wear for the 20-22 hours and it just prolongs treatment length. We went with braces. We had an insurance that Dr Sharma is in network with that made all economics of the treatment very feasible. The staff is amazing too with flexible rescheduling over text that saves time. The office itself is very clean and has a modern feel. Appointments run on the time and I never had to wait longer than 10 mins for my turn. We live in Fremont and this turned out to be very convenient in terms of drive and our experience with this office has been exceptional so far. Definitely recommend them.

I appreciate that changes were made to the appointment reminder language in response to patient input. I would like to clarify why I attached screenshots. During our many years under **Dr. Wong**, including as recently as **April** , our appointment reminders did not include cancellation or missed-appointment penalty language. The reminder highlighted in red reflects what we consistently received during that time, while the other reminders that are highlighted in black shared were sent after the ownership transition. The attachments are just few examples. To be clear, we have never been charged any penalty--my feedback was about the **tone and frequency of the messaging**, not an actual charge. My comments about the atmosphere and interactions were intended to reflect how the experience felt during recent visits. I appreciate your explanation regarding the open floor plan and your involvement in care, and I'm glad to hear that patient comfort is a priority. My intent was not to question anyone's professionalism, but to clearly convey how the experience felt to a long-standing patient during a period of transition. I'm encouraged that this feedback has already led to adjustments, and I genuinely hope the practice continues to preserve the warmth, trust, and continuity that so many families valued under Dr. Wong and his long standing team. _________________________________________________________________________ Review from Dec 17, 2025 AM hrs The rating is purely based on the new mgmt take over exp & not Dr. Wong's or the services provided by his long standing staff. We've been patients of this orthodontic practice for 8-10 years under **Dr. Wong**. We originally came here through a referral, and over the years we've confidently referred many others as well. The office was always bustling--every station filled--built on trust and word of mouth rather than heavy marketing. Until recent times our experience was excellent. Dr. Wong wasn't overly chatty, but he had a quiet warmth and genuine care that made you feel confident and respected. You always felt he knew your child's history and truly cared about the outcome. I also want to recognize the staff--**Kimberly, Jennifer, Rena, front desk receptionist (forgot her name) and the dental assistants**--who have always been consistently kind, professional, and attentive. Even when Dr. Wong was traveling, his team stepped in seamlessly to care for my child, which speaks volumes about the culture he built. Since the practice transitioned to **Dr. Manu Sharma**, the experience has changed. In the last two visits under Ms Sharma the appointments felt rushed (1 min literally) and impersonal (robotic), with little acknowledgment of treatment history. The overall atmosphere now feels more uptight and transactional. During last visit from 2 weeks ago she was standing nearby and eavesdropping in on our conversation which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. I was shocked with the unprofessionalism!! Another noticeable change is the **frequent emphasis on cancellation penalties in nearly every communication**. While I understand the need for policies--and to be clear, we have never been charged any penalty--the repeated messaging feels excessive and contributes to a rigid tone that wasn't previously part of this practice. I fully understand that transitions take time, but when taking over a well-established practice with such a strong reputation, it's important to first understand and honor the existing culture before reshaping it. I am genuinely concerned about how the practice will evolve once **Dr. Wong fully steps away**, and whether the ;policies, values of care, trust, and continuity that defined this office will be preserved. This feedback comes from a long-standing patient who truly valued what this practice represented and hopes it can continue to live up that standard.
