Dr. Jolson is a wonderful, compassionate orthodontist who always took the time to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable. From the front desk to the assistants, the entire team was kind, patient, and caring, especially when working with teenagers. After more than five years of treatment, my son's smile looks fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the results. We are so grateful for the team's expertise, dedication, and warmth. They made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. Thank you, Dr. Jelson team, for taking such wonderful care of my son! read more

This is a return review, and I only wish I could give them more stars. Dr Yalung is extremely kind and professional, and both the front office and assistants are completely amazing across the board. When a mishap happened with my retainer due to an issue with my retainer by design (completely out of the doctor's hands), this team went above and beyond to advocate for me and fix the situation. My hectic schedule made me tough to reach, but they persistently followed up and called multiple times until it was completely resolved. Many places treat you well until the sale is made, but this practice proves who they are by having your back when a manufacturer error occurs. Exceptional customer service from start to finish--highly, highly recommended! read more

I've been a patient here for the past 2 years & they have been great. I needed braces to prepare for jaw corrective surgery and Yalung's office was a recommendation from my dentist in getting the consultation for how to look into my underbite and potential jaw corrective surgery later on. It was determined through Dr. Yalung that jaw corrective surgery with Kaiser was needed and braces to prepare and make adjustments for that surgery was needed as well. Dr. Yalung's office has been terrific along this journey the last couple years. The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. There are personalized messages in the waiting room for new patients & for checking in, etc. Along with decorations for the time of year and such. They make you feel very comfortable and welcome. Even if I've wanted to come back after an appointment to ask for an adjustment they have been very accommodating. After every appointment the very friendly & knowledgeable Dr. Yalung will stop by to give you another look-over and give you any updates or answer any questions you may have. I have nothing but good things to say about them. read more

I started treatment over a year ago and Dr. Jelson and his crew have been nothing but AMAZING to me! The signing up process was super thorough and made it a lot easier with my needs being met and questions being answered. If you are looking for an orthodontist this is where to go, super satisfied. Walked away feeling welcomed, heard & with an amazing smile! read more

This 5 star review is for Dr. Jelson Yalung. I am the parents of two sons who are in this practice for 4 years. Dr. Yalung has been exemplary since the day we met him. His caring energy and professional expertise put us (both parents and teenagers) at ease and felt comfortable with the Invisalign treatment from start to finish. All of his staff are experienced and very kind as well, so it's always a pleasure to be at the appointments. The end results are amazing, and most importantly Dr. Yalung cares about his patients and made sure we feel that way throughout the process. I highly recommend Dr. Yalung and his team to all the parents who want a great orthodontist experience for their kids! read more

I took my son in for a 2nd opinion for Orthodontic treatment. Dr Jelson and team are fantastic. The waiting area is welcoming with a personalized sign to the patient. The receptionists are friendly and professional. The orthodontist assistants are gentle and knowledgeable. And Dr Jelson is very throurough with his exam. His expertise is top of the line and he is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Their equipment is state of the art and modern. Overall my son was very pleased with his appointment and I felt completely informed of my choices. The environment is friendly and clean. I would totally recommend Dr Jelson and his team for Orthodontic care! read more

I've been a patient with both Dr. Dianne Chun and Dr. Jelson Yalung for nearly 4 years. They have supported my orthodontic care despite the long delays that COVID had on my necessary orthognathic surgery. I am always treated with respect at this office and I adore the team that I have worked with. Many of the team have long tenure with the office despite the change from Dr. Chun to Dr. Jelson. Everyone is very kind, very clean, and great to chat with! I highly recommend them, especially for the amazing work they produced despite my very tough dental situation prior to therapy. A great office!!! read more

We started here with Dr. Diane Chun when my daughters were in elementary school and transitioned to Dr Jelson. It has been a wonderful experience. Everyone in the office is so helpful especially Ms. Blanca. My oldest just got her braces off today and my youngest will be getting them on in a few weeks. We are very happy with the care team and the way they communicate and support the journey. read more

First of all, I didn't mean to do the review but when I came across the reviews for Dr. Jelson and Dr. Dianne Chun, I noticed some of them were done by people from SoCal. Interesting. So I decided to share my real experiences. Dr. Jelson's staff needs to be retrained. Be careful on the billing part when they tell you something over the phone. It might be different when you are in the office. Dr. Dianne's Staff is definitely much better. I wonder why no one was carried over to Dr. Jelson. Also, Dr. Jelson is friendly but Dr. Dianne is definitely much more experienced. I had no choice and had to come for my older one who was with Dr. Dianne Chun, but for my younger who was about to start, we did not come back. read more

Dr. Jelson is an amazing orthodontist and person. He spends quality time with his patients and connects with them where they are. He's so good at it because it's sincere and he actually cares. It's hard to find genuine people who want what is best for you and Dr. Jelson is certainly that for his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for orthodontic treatment. read more

I see Dr. Jelson Yalung for my Invisalign treatment and he is really great. Very knowledgeable and a really nice doctor. I am happy with my progress so far. Can't get any better and top notch service from the staff and team. Highly recommend! read more

My family had an amazing experience with Dr. Chun and her staff. I was the first in my family to get orthodontic treatment there, and my parents were so satisfied with my treatment that my two brothers ended up getting their braces done there as well. Dr. Chun and her staff are very caring and friendly; I never felt anything less than comfortable when I went in for consultations or checkups. For example, when rubber bands were introduced to me as part of my treatment, I had a lot of difficulty figuring out how to get them on properly. It was embarrassing how long it took me to be able to put them on and take them off smoothly, but they were incredibly patient and nice about it. I also appreciate how Dr. Chun was always willing to answer any questions that we had and made sure that we knew exactly what was happening at each of the different stages of treatment. My brothers and I all love how our teeth turned out, and my parents can't thank Dr. Chun more for providing such quality treatment. I definitely recommend her; there's a reason why she's been awarded consistently with Best Orthodontist these past few years! read more

Long story short this office did not want to deal with me and my Foster kids because we are on Medi-Cal, and we are poor, and we had to be approved for funding for the braces through the county before we could actually get the braces from this office. When we first went there everyone was extremely nice and I thought I had found the orthodontist office that I would be bringing all my foster and biological kids to and recommend to everyone but unfortunately things did not go as planned.. as with any county funding it took forever almost 6 months now for the funding to come through for the braces so once I got back in contact with them and wanted to evaluate my other two daughters as well for the braces they scheduled me two more evaluation appointments and then *** called me on the same day of the appointments, one hour before their appointment to cancel our appointments!!! *** stating that there are other offices closer to my house that take Medi-Cal that would be able to "better help me with my funding situation" but Medi-Cal does not pay for anything that is not dentistry so they basically just Told me we would fit in better at place that helps low income people and takes Medi-Cal and denti-cal. So I just kept my kids home from school for no reason! Thanks a lot Dr.Chunn! read more

Dr. Chun came highly recommended by a number of family and friends and despite her office being a hour away, after interviewing several orthodontists in my area, decided it was totally worth the trek to receive exceptional service from her Dr. Chun and her staff. My oldest daughter just completed her treatment and now my youngest has braces. During each consultation, Dr. Chun was very knowledgeable and thorough, answering all our questions and concerns, giving us options to consider, and encouraging us to find the best fit for our family. Dr. Chun always makes sure that we understand what's going on during each step of treatment and never makes us feel rushed. Dr. Chun and her office staff are always friendly and very professional. They are caring and welcoming; always on time and willing to work with our schedule, which is not easy given our girls' extracurriculars and long commute. We are so happy that we chose Dr. Chun as our girls' orthodontist and highly recommend her to anyone who needs any orthodontic work! We believe Dr. Chun is the best orthodontist around and the fact that she's been awarded "best orthodontist in Fremont" for 6 years in a row, it's clear that her patients all agree! read more

Jelson is one of the kindest dentists I have ever worked with. He started my Invisalign treatment back in Los Angeles before moving up to his new location in Fremont. He had done such a great job with the first half of my treatment, I traveled up to see him to finish the rest of my treatment. I would strongly recommend him to anyone! He is very accommodating and has left me with a perfect smile. Thanks!! read more

I highly recommend the office of Dr. Chun. I initially went to this office after my previous dentist who wasn't specialized in orthodontics had caused my bite to be misaligned. I saw that doctor for teeth straightening with Invisalign, but I ended up unsatisfied with the results. After seeing Dr. Chun, I was reassured and she agreed that the resulting misalignment was not normal as my previous dentist insisted. I went through the process of getting braces for almost a year and a half and am very satisfied with my results from this office. Dr. Chun and the staff have been very friendly and professional throughout my entire experience here. The customer service is top knotch and you always feel like they know what they are doing to give you the best outcome. You can tell that they really care about what they do here in this office. Overall, I highly recommend this office for your orthodontic needs! -Montoya read more

One of the most flattering moments in my life was when a model asked me to smile and show her my teeth again, and after which she exclaimed "Wow, your teeth look perfect!" Imagine that, someone who's job it is to have perfect teeth and get paid for looking amazing was jealous of my teeth! And I owe it all to Dr. Chun. Outside of that incident I have received many comments about how perfectly aligned my teeth are, even 8 years after having my braces off and never seeing her again. She really puts quality first and I couldn't be happier that she was recommended to me. read more

I would definitely recommend Dr. Chun to family and friends. My sister is currently having her treatment done by Dr. Chun and we are pleased with how the results are so far. She's had them on for a little over a year now and even within a few months we saw such a great change. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Chun! I originally had orthodontic treatment with another orthodontist but developed gum recession and needed new retainers. Dr. Chun's office was very thorough and detailed, and identified the cause of my recession. I was also fitted for new retainers and they fit great! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Dr. Chun! read more

I am very pleased with the results Dr. Chun achieved for me via Invisalign braces. The treatment was longer than it would have been with traditional braces, which Dr. Chun recommended, but as an older adult I preferred the less noticeable option. The doctor and her staff make their office a pleasant place to visit and it is easy to see why she is considered the best orthodontist in Fremont. She modified my treatment as necessary to keep my progress on track and my teeth are much straighter and more aligned. Great work! read more

A healthy environment with great staffs!! It's our blessing to get a fantastic doctor for my daughter.

Very experienced and effecient. I needed a replacement retainer. Dr. Chun answered all questions and gave me clear options.

Dr. Dianne Chun and her staff are truly is the best orthodontic office around!!! I got my braces at 19 years old, as a younger teen I didn't want them and I didn't go to the dentist much growing up. Once I became an adult, I started seeing the dentist more they recommend I look into getting braces so I could clean my teeth and bit better. So they referred me to Dr. Chun and the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by Dr Chun and her staff. Dr Chun was very good about helping me understand everything about my treatment. I did take me a while to get use to the braces but her staff made me feel comfortable and reassured me that everything I was feeling was normal. Appointments and payments were always within reason and easy to manage. I couldn't believe how fast my teeth got straight and my bit was fix. Their attention to detail in my smile was their main priority. Any concerns I had (some spaces between teeth) were talked about and addressed. Before I knew it my braces were off (within 2 years) and I had a awesome new smile!!!Overall I'm so glad I had Dr. Chun as my orthodontist! I am so happy with results! I will always recommend Dr. Chun to all my friends and family. Thank you Dr. Chun and staff! read more

I never write Yelp but my family has had such great experience with Dr. Chun office the past few years that I wanted leave great review. One thing that make her special is her ethical and honesty. When my daughter went for consultation, Dr Chun actually told us she didnt need braces but still gave us the option for very minor treatment. I could not believe...Other orthodontists we visit try to take our money by requesting unnecessary treatment.. how terible! So we ended up only getting braces for my son who needed it. worth every penny. He just got braces off last week and the smile just look fantastic. After such ideal result, I would like straighten my own teeth and of course ask Dr Chun. I think my wife does too Dr. Chun is very kind and her staff are also very helpful, always feel welcome. This is great place to get your orthodontics, truthful and generous. Thank You Dr. Chun read more

Really bad experience. Dr Chun is very very busy, hard to schedule the appt. and she won't spend much time on your teeth.

When my daughter needed braces, I researched many orthodontists and after talking to friends and neighbors I narrowed my choice to 3 doctors and went for an exam with each. The first doctor seemed OK but rushed through the exam and didn't really explain the treatment. The second doctor was $700 cheaper but seemed really aggressive and pressured us to "start right away". Dr. Chun was the last exam and she was very thorough in her exam and she explained everything clearly without using a bunch of technical terms. Her fee was higher, but she really "connected" with my daughter and us, so we chose her. Our daughter just got her braces off and the results are amazing! When her teeth were crooked and twisted, she was shy and did not smile much. Now she does not stop smiling because her friends (including the boys) all tell her how pretty she looks, and this has really increased her self-confidence. We expected braces to help but never expected such a transformation. Throughout the braces, Dr. Chun and her staff were always friendly, supportive, and caring. They always explained what they were doing and patiently answered all of our questions. We highly recommend Dr. Chun and will be bringing our son in for an exam in February. Franz V. read more

My daughter needed braces so we went to Dr. Chun. I noticed that she had great reviews on Yelp. When we arrived, we felt welcomed and Dr. Chun explained the process in detail. The staff is so friendly and gentle on her teeth. I never heard any complaints from my daughter when going to Dr. Chun. The experience has been so great that I decided to get Invisalign for my crooked teeth. Every time I visit, the staff is so friendly and professional. I came to Dr. Chun's office after a friend referred me, and she does not disappoint! All of her staff are SO friendly and kind; Joti really helped my sister and I get started on our treatment plan. It's true that she isn't the cheapest orthodontist, but she DEFINITELY is the BEST!!! (I think she's won best orthodontist like 5 years in a row now!) I really liked how Dr. Chun explained exactly the procedures necessary to produce a great smile. It made me feel like I was part of the process and it made it easy to trust and understand what was going on. I couldn't be happier with how my smile turned out! In fact, I always used to smile without my teeth because I was embarrassed, but I always make sure to show off my smile :) I recommend her to all my friends! read more

Dr. Chun was recommended to me by a family member who has had good results with her treatment. I recently had a consult with her, and it turns out I don't need any orthodontic treatment, but I'm giving her five stars because the 30 min consult was FREE, and she did such a wonderful job explaining my options.
