DO NOT IGNORE THE 1-STAR REVIEWS…read more I had a decent experience here about 5 years ago, but things have gone way downhill. Whether it's the location or the entire practice, they need to do better. The staff is nice--that's the only reason this isn't a 1-star review. My appointment was in March for a check-up and cleaning. I arrived on time and waited over 30 minutes to be seen. After X-rays and a quick check-up, they told me they didn't have time for the cleaning and rescheduled it for June. In June, they called me just hours before the appointment to cancel again. The next available? August 1st. I agreed. Today, I show up--and surprise--they claim they don't see my appointment. I explained I was called and rescheduled for today, but instead of taking accountability, they tried to spin it like someone "should have" called. No apology. No ownership. Just excuses. They offered to reschedule again, but I walked out. I have a job and can't keep wasting time on this kind of disorganized chaos. Save yourself the frustration. Go somewhere with consistent 4+ star reviews. You deserve better.

I had an emergency tooth pain over the wkd one time which has never happened to me before however I had a dental procedure at my usual clinic in another state recently so it might have caused me sensitivity. I was looking for the nearest dental clinic by me here. I called his clinic Monday morning when they open & he was able to see me that afternoon after I was done with work. I was given this tooth desensitizer which I told my usual dental clinic about & now I get it at every dental cleaning at my normal clinic & I haven't had tooth pain ever since! WOW!!! The best place ever for emergencies!!! Dr. Chamberlain really knows what he's doing!!!

I reached out to Chamberlain dental at 8pm Friday after it happened, and Janice answered. I am not normally an anxious person, however as soon as you say we're going to the dentist, I get a little anxious. While on the phone with Janice, I was anxious, one bc it's Friday night, and well, what do I do, lol. Thankfully I was given instructions on both the care and management of said molar until I could be seen Monday morning by Dr. Chamberlain. (Over the counter, and it WORKED!) I went in Monday morning (slightly nervous, bc it's the dentist!) and I was instantly put to ease by the entire office staff, and Dr. Chamberlain himself. The office is gorgeous, clean and well appointed. After a through oral examination, X-rays, and photos, a treatment plan was formulated for me to have my teeth fixed in the upcoming week. Dr. Chamberlain and his staff are incredibly knowledgable and well versed in dentistry. I have never been put more at ease then I have at this office. I've had extensive dental work done throughout my life as a child, teeth removal due to overcrowding, braces for many years, retainer, night guard, and honestly I have never looked forward to any of it! I advised Dr. Chamberlain of my anxiety relating to dental work being performed, and he was able to offer solutions so I could have the work done. I will say I am actually looking forward to my second upcoming appointment , more relaxed and ready to take on the interventions laid out for my two molars. If you're a nervous nelly (ok big baby!!) like me when it comes to the dentist, Dr. Chamberlain, and his staff are where you need to be.

If I could give this dental office no stars I would. Keep smiling as you pay out money you don't…read moreneed too. I get to the office at 730 AM and start filling out paperwork. I was surprised they didn't have the option to do this online before my appointment. They were very disorganized. As I'm filling out paperwork the receptionist starts talking to me about the vaccine which I felt was inappropriate since it had nothing to do with my appointment. After waiting for 20 minutes I finally go back. The rooms were ridiculously small, filled with equipment, and very outdated. I wait for 15 minutes. The dental assistant does my x rays and colored pictures and then I asked if she was the one who was going to clean my teeth. She tells me there was no dental hygienist in the office today. I was taken back since that was the whole point of my appointment. I wait in the room for 20 minutes. The dentist comes in and goes over my x rays for 30 minutes and goes into great detail how much I need on my mouth. She said I needed a deep cleaning and they wouldn't do my normal cleaning without it. She then goes on to tell me I have all these cavities that need filings, I'm grinding my teeth, I need a new crown for my current one because my bone is receding, and bridge for a tooth missing. She also did my gum measuring and shoved that tool deep into my gums. I've never had so much bleeding before. Not to mention she talked to me like I was a child and didn't understand basic hygiene. She leaves the room and tells her assistants to get the special equipment because I need a deep cleaning. Then they leave me in there for another 20 minutes. I've been there for almost 2 hours at this point with nothing done by a basic exam and x rays. I finally grab my things and walk to the front and tell them I need to leave because I have to be at work. It's now 930 am and I was there at 730 am. The squeeze me in for a deep cleaning the following week but I decided to find a new dentist who I saw yesterday. Let's just say I was right about everything and Dr. Habner is a crook. Dentists along with doctors are taught to find problems, that's how they make money. I brush my teeth, floss twice and water pick. T The dentist I saw yesterday was dumbfounded Dr. Habner said I needed a new crown - there was no bone recession, it was perfectly fine. I do not grind my teeth. I didn't need a deep cleaning because I had no plaque build up what so ever. They said as long as a I wear my night retainer I didn't need a bridge. I didn't need to do anything with my cavities since they were so small that filling them would do more damage to my teeth so they're going to monitor them. They gave me a new toothpaste with more fluoride to stop the growth of the cavities and I was done. I have never in my life dealt with a dentist who acted like a car salesman. Save yourself the time and do not go here. Also, my husband had an appointment with Dr. Habner before me and experienced the same problems.

I went there for my annual cleaning, they mentioned the service would be mostly covered by insurance but my insurance no longer accepting the free X-rays that I have to pay 85% of it, they got about 20 X-rays including panoramic X-rays. After the procedure was complete the bill was higher than quoted, they told me the panoramic X-ray is not cover by my insurance. I have contacted my insurance company to relay the problems I have had recently at this office and I asked them to send me my records and close my file. I arrived at 1350hrs and saw 4 others waiting in lobby. Grrr...I thought since I had 1400 appointment. Lo and behold all the rest of 'em were called in before then, and I was called in at 1405! Not bad at all!! I was heartily welcomed by the receptionist, who had me fill out a couple of small forms that they don't put online. When I first made the appointment, they directed me efficiently and in a courteous manner. You can also request online appointments if you prefer. Either way, they text and email you often enough so you don't forget about the appointment. I counted a total of 8 texts and emails for this one, and I also received two more about my next appointment in 4 months!! Good thing they do this, because if you are a no show, they charge a $50 no show fee. As the receptionist put it they "just want you to communicate with us!" So off I went with Taylor, the hygienist I wound up getting. She, like the receptionist and the dentist herself, were incredibly happy and positive, welcoming types who went outta the way to make one feel comfortable and appreciated. Personally, I have no use for effervescence of personality...I was a lil taken back by it, but they didn't go over the edge into the never never land of bubbly banality. They took X-rays as well as projections of my choppers before getting started with the cleaning part...I've never had so many X-rays taken of my mouth by any other dentist I remember in nearly 60 years of life. Extremely thorough, as they also were with my gums, soft palate and most everything else one finds in one's mouth these days. Taylor was pretty quick and efficient, and despite how totally, overthorough they are, it was all finished about an hour later. All they had to happen was the doctor herself to show up. Dr Griffin, as I alluded elsewhere, was another effervescently elocutionist. She did the typical poking and looking about that the DMD and DDS Types do, while being personable, welcoming and fairly quick at the same time. First time customers/patients also get an oral cancer screening and a fluoride treatment added onto the regular regimen. As a result, I walked out with a copay of $100+ as opposed to my regular nominal few shekels. Office itself is very modern, new and full of the latest dental gizmos, hardware and software. Lobby is fairly comfortable and plenty of exam rooms in the back too. Michelle was the lady who checked me outta there; also friendly and personable. My medical practice should take a hint from these people about friendliness and approachability. Finally: they moved across the street from where they once were on East Bay just within the last few months, so now they're in the front of East Bay Plaza. It's a new outbuilding next to the Intuit Bank branch there. By and large I was impressed with the whole thing with one small exception... I didn't care for the loud piped in music blaring through the whole office. It was mainly modern and urban rock, which I don't find a calming choice for a dental office. Maybe turn down the volume a little, please? I really don't wanna hear Fleetwood Mac while I'm getting my teeth cleaned. Beyond that, I'd heartily recommend this practice to all you fans of dental hygiene out there in Yelpland. Choosy choppers, glamorous gum lines and bitingly bumptious bicuspids would easily elect the friendly focus on "you, the patient" here. Help yourself to the free bottled water in the lobby, have a seat and be prepared to be taken care of by a totally thorough, highly happy and pleasingly professional dental dream team.
