They have made me sick the few times I have had them, however, I would trade.puking my guts out now rather than have this pain and discomfort. Due to a medical condition and possible contraindications to a medication I am prescribed, I cannot take Tylenol or any other OTC pain reliever. During my initial consultation, I was taken aback by the surgeon's brusque demeanor, which left me feeling uneasy. I called my dentist again, asking if they had any other recommendations. They suggested Dr. Lee. Initially, I was hesitant because Dr. Lee wasn't covered by my dental insurance, and the first surgeon had quoted me over $1000 for the procedure. However, I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lee to get a second opinion. I am so glad I did. During my consultation, I explained that the first surgeon planned to use general anesthesia. Dr. Lee assured me that a local anesthesia would be sufficient and much safer. His estimate for the procedure was less than half of the first surgeon's. I called the first surgeon's office to ask if they could use local anesthesia, but they told me it was too complicated to use a local. After weighing my options, I chose Dr. Lee for my surgery. The procedure was quick, relatively painless, and executed with high professionalism. The healing process was smooth with no complications. Dr. Lee's office even worked with my insurance company to reduce the cost substantially. The atmosphere at Dr. Lee's office is a world apart from the first surgeon's.
