It was great to see it a buzz with a large family gathering bumping good tunes, individuals escaping the heat in a similar fashion to myself, and folks taking pictures. But when she fell last week and the coach did not even bother to check on her was funny to say the least. It was a hard cry and she wont move her right arm. She was so guarded and wont stop crying the whole place can hear it. We decided to just go with our instinct and took her to ER where they diagnosed her with right elbow fracture. Yes it is not their responsibility. But in this kind of space, IMO coach should be train to evaluate situation and guide parents. Heck! I am not even expecting first aid but to at least evaluate situation lol All we got was a generic email that she will be missed and that they understand life gets busy and that they offer other classes. And pay extra 139$ once life not that busy anymore that we reenroll Lmao Of course! We had to hold off their auto monthly enrollment since we do not have an idea about how she would recuperate! Ortho peds soonest appointment is tomorrow, so a temporary splint is on. I was not gonna say anything , until i saw their email! That just blow me off! This place suddenly just feels like a joke!

This is my son's first season of basketball here (after playing through other organizations in…read moretown), he's in 5th grade. We weren't sure what to expect, but we absolutely LOVE Game day sports! The atmosphere is great, we have a wonderful coach, and they are big on instilling values and teamwork in the boys. My son has improved his skills a lot, made friends, and is already asking me to sign him up for another season! It's very comfortable as well- plenty of chairs and space for parents to hangout and watch the practice, either on the court or in the quieter area off the courts. They have a food bar with a variety of items to order, tables to sit at, and vending machines. The basketball team practices twice a week- once on Mondays with everyone (split into different groups each week, so all the kids eventually get to know each other a little), and then an independent team practice another day of the week. I love the way they organize this, because come game day, most of the boys have already practiced with each other during the week (on the opposing team they play). At the end of the day, it feels like one everyone is on one big team here. I have nothing bad to say about this place overall.. however there is one coach I have heard drop the F bomb several times (not our coach), and I would love to see him clean up his speech. Anyway- my son loves it here and wishes he could come more than twice a week. I'm really glad we found this place! Shout out to coach Henry- he is awesome with the boys and goes above and beyond to help out, say hi to parents, and pep talk the boys. If you're looking for a sports place for your kids, this is the place! Bonus points for being a vendor for Heartland charter school!

I'm here every week with my dogs. Great little fenced in spot with plenty of place for my energetic…read morehuskies to run. Water bowls, garbage cans, and benches dotted around the perimeter. Usually regulars will tie extra poop bags to the fence and bring bottles of water. Because this park is a sump, garbage can sometimes wind up at the bottom of the park, but it's maintained weekly and is usually pretty clean for a dog park. The one thing this place NEEDS desperately is more signage about the rules. Last Sunday, July 11, 2021 we arrived around 8am and found a group of about 20 boys and 4 coaches having football practice. Usually I wouldn't mind this type of thing and welcome the socialization for the dogs, but the kids were not properly talked to about respecting the dog park. One of the boys opened the fence gate and let both of my dogs out, who of course then bolted out into the busy street. I feel that this could have been avoided if there were proper signs about closing the fence and being mindful of the dogs. Especially because this dog park is just the small fenced in area of a larger park, I feel like they could play anywhere and dogs really just have this one spot.

Unfortunately, this park has a lot that makes me really think if I want to come back. The reason I…read morekeep coming back is because it is so close to me. I don't mind coming here in the morning or afternoon. I just don't like coming at night. The park is way too dark. They have light, but they are way to dim. They need to change the light bulbs or clean them. It hardly lights up the park. When you walk on the sidewalk it is almost pitch black. I love walking at night, but I honestly hate that the park is so dark. Also, I don't look to judge a book by it's cover but it's very hard not to with certain people. I have come a few times and I see the same "homeless" people at the same spot. I feel so uncomfortable going to certain parts of the park because they keep staring at you. Not sure if they just stare or really want to make you feel uncomfortable. I also see a lot of certain adults smoking and acting crazy at the benches. I try to avoid them as well. Others are digging threw the trash and some are just walking around looking crazy. I'm sorry if I seem harsh, but I'm just trying to be honest. My husband has told me that a lot of them come to do drugs. I don't know, but like I said they do look weird. Now, for the positive. I love that I saw a water/spray section. The water wasn't on, but I think that during the summer they turn them on. I wanted to let my son play there but there are two people always sitting near that section. If I let my son play there I think he will go and bug them so I rather not have him play there. Right now, the play area is closed. Bummer. Great news though. It is closed because they are remodeling it! Yay! Now this I do love. It started to look so nice. They put a huge slide that I know kids will love. They are putting so much playground equipment and it is making the park look much better. They put up a sign that states they play area will open in mid October.
