Called to get an appointment for my husband in an urgent situation, was told that they could get him in. I had to arrange transportation, so they didn't make the appointment then when I called back just 30 minutes later I was informed that they didn't even know if the Dr. would see my husband, because it had been 2 years since he did his eye surgery.??? That would've been the thing for the staff to KNOW BEFORE they told me I could get the appointment! I got treated this way because my insurance coverage doesn't start until Jan. 12, 2012 as I switched providers during open season. I was rudely informed that I had to pay before even setting down in the waiting room. I knew I had to pay out of pocket before we left, but, come on. The way the woman spoke to me is like they don't care if you go blind as long as you pay the $200 before setting in their office. I'd give them ZERO stars if I could. Oh, and don't even think of asking for your medical records to go somewhere else. it could take 48 hours just for the Doctor to approve you taking them. read more
