Everyone in this office is so caring and personable. We have been coming here for the past 6 years and are so happy with our care. My husband and I both had negative experiences growing up with our childhood dentists, and Dr. DiMariano and his hygienists were patient and gentle with us. Our health and comfort is always put first, and we have never felt pressured into a procedure or device. Our 4 yr old started coming for "peekaboo" visits when he was 1.5 and he loves it. He is always asking when he can come back to the dentist because everyone is encouraging and kind to him. He feels special in the little booster chair and gets to wear his own sunglasses. Due to her coding skills Delta Dentist Insurance did not pay 1000.00 of my work! So I had to pay out of pocket!!!!!She is rude and does not work with you! My point of this review is!!! Doctor D. has been my dentist for years. I drive extra just to keep coming here because i trust his assessments for work needing to be done, and his excellent skills. I have NEVER felt i have had unnecessary work here. usually i get a cleaning by his awesome hygienists and regular exams and x-rays, etc. Recently a tooth that was mostly filling broke and i had to get my first crown ever. Dr. D is a skilled craftsman. he is an artist. he is the best. he is also just a great guy. he is friendly and professional. Beware. They are dishonest. Went in for a routine cleaning & the hygienist & dentist both said I needed dental planing because When the hygienist measured my pockets she said they were 6 & 7s & a couple 8s. She jammed the instrument deep into my gum line & it hurt. I mentioned it to the dentist but he wasn't concerned. Total cost would be over $1000.00. When dr Dimariano checked a pocket he said it was worse than what the hygienist measured. Then the dentist threatened me that If I didn't take care of this soon I would start losing teeth. I knew it couldn't be true because I had just been to the dentist 5 months ago for a cleaning & I take excellent care of my teeth. The dentist said they wouldn't be able to clean my teeth that day because they were infected?! So I went to another dentist today & they said my teeth are in great shape & do not need the extra deep cleaning. They just did the regular cleaning & when they measured my pockets they were all 2s, 3s & a couple 4s. It's so disappointing to think this dr Dimariano & his staff are only out to make as much money as they can. I will be calling the American dental association & letting them know what I experienced. Last month I was in search of a dental office in the Sacramento area. Due to covid and a lack of employment, my dental insurance was set to expire by the end of the month. Since I wasn't near my home office (in LA), I searched for a local office in my network that had positive reviews. I landed on Dr. DiMariano's practice, and I'm very glad that I did. For one, the receptionists are very kind and attentive, and have very upbeat personalities, which made me feel welcomed. The office is VERY clean and modernized, which was also comforting. After my initial consultation, it was determined that there was an issue with my insurance, but they were patient and diligent in helping me get it resolved with the understanding that I was on a time crunch. My next visit, I got the most meticulous deep cleaning I've ever received, and the results have not gone unnoticed. A number of my friends/family have complimented my improved smile.
