I was initially confused, and when I contacted my insurance, they advised me to check with LexisNexis for legal records. Upon doing so, I confirmed that it was the same unresolved ticket. As a result, my insurance premiums have increased by $120 per month, a rate that will remain for the next 5 to 7 years. This amounts to an additional $1440 annually and a total of $7200 over five years. Shawn Storey failed to perform the required legal work, and in a struggling economy, I am burdened with an extra $120 each month. I advise others to steer clear of attorneys who make false promises regarding dismissals or legal outcomes. I plan to contact him again to discuss this matter and seek a resolution. We told him time was at the essence and we just didn't feel like this was going to be a good partnership. So he hung up on us and kept the money. We hired another attorney to send him certified mail, that he can't make his fee nonrefundable, and of course he never responded to that either. I would not walk, I would run away from this guy.
