Decided to visit on my way home from work based on the reviews/photos. I made sure to look around the kitchen where they cook, etc. super super clean. They welcomed me immediately when I walked in and asked if I needed help choosing my menu. They made suggestions and I went with the spring rolls, tom yum soup, shrimp pad Thai & special fried rice. I could have ordered more.... but thought let's start with the basics and take it from there. - Spring Rolls- crispy not greasy yummy - Tom Yum Soup - delish, lots of mushrooms & full of authentic Thai flavors - Shrimp Pad Thai - BIG fresh crisp shrimp, full of flavor - Special Fried Rice- Again full of big fresh shrimp and great flavor. They will ask you how you want your spice, which is real important because some folks can't tolerate too much heat. Portions were very nice reasonably priced compared to Thai restaurants out there again if you don't want the whole sit down serve experience and just wanna pick up some good food on your way home I highly suggest to support your local small business. These ladies know what they're doing. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I was a little intimidated by so no many new dishes, I went to an old favorite - Pad Thai. However, I went duck pad thai, which was new to me. I also got spring rolls and fried won ton. The food here is absolutely delicious. If you're hunting for excellent Thai food, look no further.

Solid portions, great price and taste considering the variety of Thai dishes and drinks that they serve. Their main focus appears to be noodles which I didn't get to try (will try to go one more time before leaving town). But with their choices of soups and even noodle types I'm impressed. They showcase a lot of drinks and desserts that are very nostalgic of Thailand. It's reflected in their decor even down to their dishware. Menu is cute with graphics and easy to read. Service was friendly, accommodating (esp for allowing my dog to be in) and perfect timing with everything we needed. If this were in my home area I would be a frequent customer. Enjoy this jewel of a place you won't regret it.

The venue itself is fairly small with a high ceiling and tables set in close proximity, but nicely decorated and inviting. There is a small sushi bar sitting area. It is somewhat noisy, but to a tolerable level. The menu is extensive with many reasonably priced choices. There's a separate sake menu as well. My Pad Thai was a delicious generous portion of fresh ingredients, and full of large chicken pieces unlike anywhere I've ordered this dish previously. I requested extra peanuts, lime wedges and cilantro, all of which were cheerfully provided. Our next visit was on the Friday night of the following week. It was even busier. The Mango Avocado Crab Salad (one of the day's special) took a bit to arrive, but our friendly attentive waitress came to the table a few times to inform us about the delay. It was worth waiting for (picture does not do it justice). The chicken with veggies bowl of soup was a delightful blend of flavors in a wonderful broth (not at all salty) generously peppered with lots of chicken pieces and broccoli, carrots, mushrooms and cauliflower. Kub Kao ticks all the boxes. Will make it a point to stop in whenever in the area.
