When Jay tells you he is going to do something, he honors his word. He and his team showed up on time and worked hard over the course of two days. He even went above and beyond to help me with a few jobs that he didn't have to do. I appreciate his work ethic and his straight-forward approach. He and his team pay attention to the details, and that is the difference between a good job and a great job. Keep jobs local, and call Townsend Painting for all your painting needs. He paints interior, exteriors, cabinetry, and more. Bonus, he and his team work well around family pets which was a major plus for me. You will be very happy with the results!!

They did a great job covering areas so there was no paint drippings on the floor or cabinets and Arturo did a full walk through with me at the end of the project to ensure I didn't see anything that needed touch ups. Highly highly recommend and will use for future projects.

I got in touch with Gerardo, a young guy running his own business on years of personal and family experience in construction and home improvement. He was very personable and we connected easily talking about improvement plans and projects. He personally handled the job on his own and did it fantastically. Popcorn ceiling was removed, the space and connecting walls repainted and the finished product looked great. I hired him back to install an over-range vent hood and to do a much bigger project of installing laminate flooring. He came in much more affordable than any other offer on these projects and his team did a fantastic job with clean up and timeliness. I can highly recommend hiring G Arc for just about any home project. There's certainly more they can do and my projects barely scratched the surface. If he can't do it, he has the connections that can. My only regret is that I'm moving out of town so I won't be able to stick around to enjoy the improvements to the house. If you hire G Arc, you won't be disappointed!

I had received quotes from others but I felt that he provided the best plan and a quote that made sense. He went above and beyond what I expected. I believe the new supports will last twice as long compared to the original builder's. Alonso went the extra mile to ensure that would be the case. He is a very friendly and trustworthy person (which is hard to find in this line of work). It is because of his honesty and trust that have that I personally recommended him to some friends who needed a porch screened in. It is always good to support small businesses who do a great job at a fair price. The others who came, quoted me a number that basically showed they didn't want my business...which is fine...I'll be using Mango for any of my projects that are out of my ability.

Derun Construction Inc. is run by brothers Paul & Ivan Derun. I've had the opportunity to utilize…read moreDerun to fully remodel a ~40 year old Screen Porch and highly recommend their services. Rather than stating that they're great to work with (which they truly are) let me elaborate on my actual experience. Given I was seeking to remodel an existing porch structure in a pretty significant way, I initially enlisted the services of a structural engineering firm to create drawings for me. Thereafter, I began interviewing prospective contractors to perform the work laid out in the drawings and was quite surprised at the relative indifference and/or opposition shown by several contractors toward the existence of the plans - most claimed there wasn't a need for them or attempted to tell me how engineers just overcomplicate things. Paul, on the other hand, was actually delighted to know that I had these engineering plans in hand and went over them with me at our very first meeting. He was intelligent enough to realize that if he followed the engineering drawings, as laid out; he would have no issues in getting the project through the county code enforcement process which would be a win for both him, as a contractor, and me, as the client. Paul takes a lot of pride in his work and he works hard to please his customers. By nature, I am a very particular individual; and being a Realtor by profession, makes me even more so. Paul took all of my feedback in stride and did everything he could to meet my exacting standards. There were days when I literally hovered over him and his team; more so to learn from them (given my profession) rather than to supervise - but I'm quite sure this couldn't have been a lot of fun for him and the crew. In the few instances where my expectation on certain things happened to exceed the underlying project scope; Paul was very diplomatic in pointing this out to me and we quickly found common ground such that I wasn't compromising his profit margins and was able to fulfill my desires. I also wanted a proper estimate on the front end; as well as, a full paper trail of the project - including change orders - which Paul readily supplied. Paul's pricing was fair and the project was completed within the cost margins of error and project timeline I had planned for. I had a vision for what the porch would look like when completed and Paul provided a lot of good feedback in making my vision a reality. We talked through a lot of different things like material choices, design, electrical outlet locations etc. I'll conclude by saying Paul is just a genuinely good person....period; and anyone who opts to work with him is in good hands. Thank you Paul, Ivan and the rest of the team!
