Illia is hands down my go to handyman…read more And I don't say that lightly because I gave him a really big project that took over a week to complete. He literally does it all (replacing toilets, replacing floors, treating the concrete, finding problem areas (mold) and replacing it, identify issues (wrong breakers placed in the house), painting rooms, replacing doors.. you name it and he can do it. What I appreciated the most about him is that he has strong communication, great work ethic and will get the job done no matter how long it takes. We had an issue or two with our ceiling fan after the project was done and he immediately came out to take a look - both at the fan and at the how it was wired (turns out it was the fan). He's definitely reliable and would take care of the job until the client is satisfied. His pricing is also very reasonable. I've only known him for three weeks and has already given him three projects. I'd definitely rely on Illia again in the future.

Contacted Zelaya Jr Painting through project quoting on the Yelp. When deciding on the…read morecontractor, I based my choice on price sands professionalism. I made the right choice. We got four quotes for an interior painting project and decided to go with Zelaya Jr because their…read morerate was competitive and they could start on the project the next day. They also responded to my Yelp project request very quickly. They completed the work on time (even a day early), the team was courteous and professional, and the quality of their work is great. They listened to direction well, and corrected any issues that arose (they put back a light fixture in the wrong place and moved it after we pointed it out). I feel they knew what they were doing and the best products to use. They covered our flooring and elements that were not getting painted to prevent damage and I can't find any paint spills or smudges anywhere. Our project also involved a lot of wallpaper removal. I was nervous about this because if the wallpaper is not removed correctly the wall can be damaged or leftover wallpaper glue can cause the new paint not to adhere correctly. But it seems they did a great job with that part too. They communicated well with us via text. We weren't able to check on the project in person every day so they sent photos and details on progress. I plan to use them again for additional painting projects.

This guy showed up and gave an estimate of $300 to replace the tiles (I provided the tiles and it was a very small area). He said he is a professional and will take care of tiles and putting the toilet seat back. When he showed up he asked me if I had the glue because he did not know that glue was needed. He somehow fixed the floor and put the toilet seat back but broke the water connector and valve. So I had to call my plumber again to fix it. He may be experienced in fixing drywalls (I don't know) but he definitely doesn't have much idea about the wood flooring. He should have told me so and saved my time and money. I would not recommend him with the experience I had
