I got my prescriptions and trail contact Len's. The contacts worked out fine. But the glasses prescription was not. I select frames from this location but when I went back to order the glasses (I had to wear the contacts for a week before they would give me the glasses rx) they had lost the frames I wanted. So I went to Sam's found frames I liked and had the glasses made there. Upon getting them made I was having a hard time seeing. Like couldn't specially adjust to them. So I took them back to Sam's and they provided a full REFUND. They said it may be the material that they use to make the lenses. So back I go to Lakeland Eye Clinic. I select some frames, (not the ones I originally wanted and they lost) but none the less. I have them made at twice the cost of Sam's, hoping for a better outcome. NOPE, still cannot see. Took them back asked for a refund and they said they have a no return policy. So they have the glasses, and my money until I can get back in to see the doctor. And now I am forced to use them again! Once this is over I will never go back.

I had eye surgery on my left eye on the 19th of July, 2022…read more It was completely painless. As anyone would suspect, I was a little anxious when I went in. His staff was so wonderful. There is just no way to explain how kindly they treated me and help me to calm down. I hate needles as every one does, but I did not even feel the little butterfly needle they put in my arm. There was no pain whatsoever during the surgery. I had a gauze patch on my eye when I left. I kept waiting for the anesthesia to wear off and the pain to come to my eye. I waited and waited. I thought that surely the next day after I had slept the anesthesia would be worn off by the time I woke up. I waited and waited. NO PAIN. I have yet to feel the first pain from the surgery. Dr. Mulaney himself called me the night of the surgery to see how I was doing. Never ever had a doctor done that before. Wednesday and Thursday afternoon after the surgery a nurse called me also to see if there was any pains or problems that I was having. Have you ever had a doctor call you after you got home from a surgery. He truly is a caring and wonderful, not just professional, but a caring person. I cannot say enough about Dr. Mulaney himself. He is a true professional and highly ranked eye surgeon here in the United States. He is compassionate, efficient and skillful. I now can see so well after the left eye surgery and have had no pain, that I am excited and hoping to have the right eye done soon. It was so easy I wish that I could have it done tomorrow. I can see colors and thing with my left eye now that, the only problem with that Eye is that I can actually SEE the DUST in places I have never been able to see before. Thank you Dr. Mulaney and Staff for changing my life so that I can see colors and print so easily as I use to read constantly and can now go back to one of the joys in my life of reading whenever I want. I have not seen this well since my teenage years. He and his staff is caring and knowledgeable, explained everything each step of the way, the surgical procedure was far less frightening than I imagined and I felt like the staff truly cared about me. The post op care is excellent. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mulvaney and Central Florida Eye Associates of Lakeland. Highly recommend. And thank you for giving me my sight back!

Trying to make an appointment is a 1 star experience. They have an online option but don't…read morerespond. Phone appointments are routed through Winter Haven and I spent an hour between operators, referrals to technicians' voice mails and threats like "we only have2 appointments left but you have to go through this number" transfers. They should be ashamed of billing themselves as a great multi-city ophthalmology group with such poor appointment service. I decided to try a walk-in appointment and got lucky. No one in the very clean & comfortable waiting room and was able to be seen immediately which was a blessing after the phone treatment. (I wonder how many potential patients they lose?) Of course, the first question is do you have insurance rather than "what is your concern/issue?" Dr. Adam Berger is a great eye doctor, 5 star in the knowledge department.. Neither he nor his tech were particularly personable but they get the job done. You need to be quick with any questions because he/they are in and out, a plus if you are in a hurry a minus if you are slow to think. They don't explain as they go (even simple things like why 3 sets of eye drops or what does that test show?) But you will leave knowing if you have a retina problem or not.
