Currently they have one class for 2 to 3 years, and two classes for children older than 4. As a Montessori school, the kid really learns. The teachers are capable and very nice. Each week, they call in two coaches to teach the kids exercise. The price for extended (7:30AM to 6:00PM) is $995 per month currently. The biggest issue is the location, the only entrance is on Major Mac, so it is very inconvenient during the rush hour.

Yesterday was a perfect storm... Metro passes are made available at a discount price through the bookstore the 27th of every month. This month the 27th was a Saturday so Monday afternoon, everyone and their mother went to the bookstore to get their pass! I hate lineups just as much as the next guy, but what I really hate is inefficient lineups! There are three checkout points in this place and yet only one area is designated to sell metro passes. To make matters worse they not only have to check your student ID to verify that you are student (understandable), they also have to check your name off a list. Sounds harmless right? The list is paper... there is a 700 page booklet sorted by ID number that needs to be checked off before you get your metro pass. Seriously how hard would it be to put these things in excel of all things to expedite the process (higher learning indeed). The result is a lineup that coiled the entire length of the bookstore twice and took almost one hour to get through! Icing on the cake... I almost got kicked out for drinking my Perrier (that I bought earlier) in the lineup. Apparently drinks are a big no-no. I told the woman to bite me, I finished the bottle and refused to leave the lineup (I had waited 35 minutes at this point and was ready to put up a fight). I think next time I will splurge the $12 I would have saved and just get my pass though the station.

Once again, I would love to with-hold any praise from this particular school, although there are good teachers in employment to support your child. Although, there have been a few particular teachers/employees/staff who I hope never to see again. If you are looking for a school based solely on education, yes, this school might be for you. Please keep in mind that without a supportive community your child's mental health can get increasingly worse, which then makes learning exceptionally hard. The smaller class sizes make such a difference. The teachers truly know their students, and the additional support teachers are incredible. There is a level of attention, encouragement, and investment in each child that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. What I appreciate most is that the school combines genuine care with high expectations. Our children are loved and supported, but they are also challenged and held to a standard of excellence. They are being taught to work hard, grow in character, take responsibility, and become the best version of who God created them to be. The community is incredibly close-knit, and the events, performances, and school productions continually blow us away. This is the third daycare that my child has attended and for now I am very satisfied. They offer…read morethe option of seeing your child on a webcam, which by the way is pretty decent quality. The webcam option is something that all daycares should really invest in as it really does give a parent peace of mind. The food is all home made, organic and kosher, which I have not been able to find anywhere else. They teach French and Hebrew and all the staff is very knowledgeable, engaged and friendly! Their curriculum also seems a bit more advanced than other daycares that my child has attended which is wonderful. I highly recommend this place to parents in the Vaughan area!
