The work is done by a clueless carpenter who is way over his head and shouldn't have a license. More mistakes and poor craftsmanship than can be counted. Do not hire for finish work or rely on him to be accountable and honest about his skillset. I've seen better work from a homeowner.

Jeremy tore down and built a new composite deck entry way that is second to none. His attention to detail and fine craftsmanship made our house entry way the best in the neighborhood! He listened to all of our ideas and incorporated all of them to a tee. And the best part was the reasonableness of his price. He is very fair in his price estimate. FFD was definitely the best value (we had 4 other bids and his was the best). I am getting nothing in return for posting this review from FFD, I just want to make sure people know that there are great options out there for quality contractors that don't cost you an arm and a leg. I highly endorse these guys, Jeremy really knows what he is doing!

I contacted 3 of them and received quotes, including one that advertises extensively as being experts in outdoor spaces. I still had reservations and got two more quotes, including one from CREX construction. Anthony with CREX came out and met with me to discuss materials and discuss the project and asked enough questions so that the entire project would be well thought out. His follow up with the design work, dropping off extra samples, and communication was head and shoulders above the others so I went with CREX. What WASN'T head and shoulders above the rest was the price- CREX was right in line with the market and the other four quotes. I've owned a home for 30 years and have worked with dozens of contractors and various projects. Anthony wasn't just a face for the business to get signed bids up front and then disappear only to send in inexpensive and inexperienced workers. Anthony was there onsite with his foreman, Juan, and they both did an amazing job! Every board cut and every detail was precise and exactly as I had hoped. I was very impressed with CREX.

When issues inevitably arise, he works diligently to resolve them and keeps you well-informed throughout the process. Our project involved a water-damaged utility room that was also due for an update. As our only downstairs bathroom and the one guests would use, we wanted it to be both functional and welcoming. We particularly appreciated Anthony's ability to create his own drawings, which helped us visualize the final product. His woodworking experience was a big reassurance that the custom elements would look great. He sources quality products at fair prices and achieved a seamless match between the built-in components and our purchased cabinet. We're very happy with the outcome and look forward to tackling our upstairs bathrooms and kitchen with Anthony's team next.

In my experience in today's society, it's rare for anyone to give ideas outside of their own business just to help a potential future customer out. He knew we wouldn't be doing business this time around yet still wanted to help without me asking for it. I view this as above and beyond my expectations.

During the bathroom reno, we had A/C installed and they needed to knock out a small wall to access our furnace. Nate was able to squeeze in the drywall repairs for us and still meet his time estimate. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the drywall, revised his initial estimate accordingly, and came in exactly on time and exactly on estimate. Nate is fabulous and you should hire him. I'm trying to think of something non-glowing to say... sometimes he can express his opinion strongly. If you're a pushover who will yield to an expert instead of pushing back to make sure it's the way _you_ want it and be unhappy later, Nate might not be the best fit.
