Our AC unit was purchased in 2020 and all the parts were still under warranty. A technician was sent out very quickly and fixed the issue within a few minutes. The labor cost was very reasonable, particularly for a weekend service. he explained what was wrong, fixed it, and looked at EVERYTHING else just to make sure all was good after we'd settled the bill. He could have jumped in his truck and took off but he took time to look at the coils, etc. and explain how to make sure everything keeps running for a long time and what to look for as an early sign that something may go wrong in the near future.

The man who came to fix the leak didn't know how to find the leak. He made 7 holes in my walls. I paid him 2400.00 to fix the leak . He informed me at the end that Alco doesn't fix holes . I would have to get a sheetrock man. Then he said he could fix it but it would cost 350. He came when he got off work each day and made a huge mess. This went on for about a week. I finally found someone else who would come back and fix it for me. He did a beautiful job, but that cost another 900.00. Not to mention the job turned out to NOT be a 2400.00 job like they estimated. I would have much rather paid by the hour. Live and learn.

I knew when they had to keep coming back to "fix" what was wrong; large bubbles, two-tone colors, uneven texture and later hair line cracks down the middle, I had made a huge error. They offered to keep coming back, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, then offered insurance after I got three estimates. I was done with it all. My error was in paying the full amount. My brother visited from out of state during the summer and was appalled seeing the inferior job and did what he could to make improvements with limited time. It's obvious when someone knows what they're doing. Lesson learned. Hire reputable pros and get what you pay for.
