The cost went up slightly but still beat competitors' pricing. They provided a time convenient to me and were able to get bulk yard waste removed, trim back some hedges and repair bug screens in an afternoon. I would use them again for similar work. They do all sorts of handyman work in and outside the house.

I saw this service off of Yelp, and decided to try them out for requesting an estimate. When I…read morefirst made an appointment, the person was going to be late and my schedule was jam packed. I ended up deciding to cancel that appointment and made another one. On my second request, I initially said "any time on a particular Friday." They gave me a range of 9-11 AM on a Sat and I asked if they could come in at 9 AM and they said yes. They ended up coming in right before 11 AM. So, I can understand that I needed to try to pick a time interval to be available rather than a time, okay. I gave them some stars for working with me and being professional for the in-person estimate itself. I was then told that I would receive an estimate over the phone in the same day some hours later. I requested by e-mail instead and was told that this was fine. During a time period of two weeks and two days after that, I had made three phone calls. I left voice mails twice and got through one time, the 2nd time I believe. I was told that the estimate was mixed up with something else and that it would be coming out. I'm not sure if they want to work with me or not, but at least it would be nice to let me know that instead of running me around. For potentially big jobs, my reasonable concern of not being able to receive an estimate by e-mail (or snail mail physical copy) makes me feel like there would be a he-said-she-said dynamic if I went for this. For smaller jobs, it isn't such a big loss and they seem like they do good work from the other reviews and my interaction with the attendant during the estimate. They may not be the most pronounced with their words, but I was willing to consider them with the other good reviews and them being local to me. With the lack of an estimate by e-mail, it made me wonder if the company or someone in the company has a PA license number. I would like to presume yes, but I couldn't find one personally based on company name. I know the search engine isn't the best if you don't have the actual license number to look up. If there are any updates/changes to this review or if it's proper for me to write another review as I can't update this one after about a month, then I will do so. I've strongly considered and tried to rate my experience as fairly as possible, and I really feel that Sunny's services could've done much better with their interactions in working with me after the estimate was completed.

I had just hired Prism Design & Construction, LLC to put up two lights that were long overdue in my…read morehouse after remodeling 4 years ago. The one light was up in the stairwell which no one wanted to tackle because it was too high up. I had two electrical contractors who wanted to charge me $1,000.00 for this particular light to install & another small light that was in our hallway. After seeing Denise's post about their small improvement company I gave them a call & I am so glad I did. Not only did Eliase install my lights the cost was a lot less, this husband & wife team are both so nice. I highly highly recommend them & will be contacting them for other projects that we need to be done. No job is too small for them to tackle & if they don't know how to do something, they will tell you without taking the job. I see so many posts on this site for contractors you cannot trust but you can definitely trust this husband & wife team to be in your home & tackle any work you may have. I will be recommending them to all my friends, clients & family. Pam Moore-O'Neill

I was extremely pleased with the work of Reliable Workers Construction LLC. I decided to have a…read moregood bit of work done in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo before I moved into it. Reliable Workers Construction performed skillful work with reliable workers. They built and painted three window sill bookcases and installed shelves in a closet. They installed two kitchen ceiling lights and replaced most of the electrical outlets and light switches. They repaired a balcony screen door by fixing the latch and replacing the screens. They installed a microwave. They repaired an under-sink water line to the dishwasher. They replaced doorknobs and balanced a damaged door. They replaced 3 faucets and installed a bidet attachment to a toilet. They caulked and grouted wherever needed. They painted all the woodwork, walls and ceilings. And they cleaned up after themselves very carefully. The workers were unfailingly courteous, friendly and agreeable, even though I added additional work several times. When I saw a couple of things that needed to be done differently, they were cheerful and business-like without resentment. Their prices were more than reasonable. My entire experience with the workers and their work was positive and even surprising because of their superior work ethic and standards. They take great pride in doing an excellent job.

I wouldn't use them for plumbing the following reasons: 1…read more Their estimate was as high as an estimate from a registered plumber for my project. 2. They said I was responsible for supplying all the materials. I had no idea what materials were needed for replacement of all the plumbing to be replaced. I had purchased the new sink, disposal & faucet. 3. They charge to drive to a hardware store whereas plumbers have supplies on their truck or purchase them beforehand to complete the job. 4. I needed recommendations before ordering replacement items, which I received when the plumbers gave me estimates at no cost. 5. They aren't plumbers to know best practices & city codes. 6. I have no idea of the skill set or necessary experience as to who they assign to my project. 7. The last handyman I used for a small fix used the thinnest cheapest copper to change a shut off. Lesson learned. A plumber wouldn't have used such material. Enough said.

Promptly responded to any requests and questions which I had, and also were very thoughtful about advising and helping me decide which paint colors I wanted to put in which location of my home. They were very careful in terms of getting my possessions out of the way, covering the floors, etc. I can say that not only they do a very neat and crisp paint job, but that there were no smears or stains on any of my personal items, or any which were damaged during the painting. And all this was within the budget I had planned out for painting the rooms I requested. I thoroughly recommend the service and plan to go to them first if I had any other future painting to be done.

I have looked long and hard for a good plumber. I have had my share of numbskull plumbers in my…read morehouse and am glad to have finally found someone who communicates well and seems to know what they are doing. I needed to have a kitchen sink hooked up, new faucet installed, and two toilets fixed. Glen asked me some good questions on the phone so he would know what to anticipate and what parts to bring. (Sounds pretty basic but many other plumbers just don't do this for some reason and then they charge you for a million trips to the store to get the most basic parts.) The guy he sent was an experienced plumber (13 years as a plumber, as opposed to other plumbers who send out newbies.) He was considerate of my house. He put booties on and off each time he came in my house or left to run to the truck. He cleaned up nicely after himself too, which I greatly appreciate. He was able to explain the problems with my toilet. (A lot of plumbers treat me like a dumb broad and why should I care about why something is or is not working.) He said they guarantee their work for a year. My toilets no longer run. My sink got the two thumbs up from my dad who is an engineer. The cost was $400. It sounds a little expensive for two hours of work. However, it is worth it to me to not have the headache, attitude, and re-dos from other plumbers who were clueless. And, I didn't have to mop the floor afterwards!

He was very polite and called when he was about 30 minutes away from our house to let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived, he did a thorough inspection and determined the water was coming from our neighbor's house (it was). At the time, since we could not get a hold of the neighbors, he suggested some ways we could inexpensively patch up some areas ourselves with wet-dry cement. He was great at trouble-shooting our issue and even shied away from putting a camera in because he did not want to waste our money since he thought the problem did not stem from our lines. Great company and Glenn's inspection came free of charge. Will definitely use this company again for our plumbing needs.
