The Flooring Company sent out a cleaning crew and painter to attempt to resolve some issue, which ultimately failed. There are numerous soft spots throughout the floors, confirmed by numerous contractors after installation. We aren't asking for perfection but a professional job after spending over $25,000 for flooring. Your business practices we have experienced has been deceptive and unprofessional. UPDATE: Owner sent me an email asking to remove my bad review or he will pursue legal action. Watch out! Deceitful! The photos reflect the condition of which The Flooring Company LLC left my property in after they completed the job. I had to complain and push to get a cleaning crew which was ineffective (I had to spend $400 to get a cleaning crew to come out after The Flooring Company LLC's cleaning crew "cleaned" the property). Additionally, The Flooring Company LLC hired a painter to patch the damage to my walls, which did a poor job. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional company. I'm looking forward to The Flooring Company LLC to post the final images and videos of their flooring at my property--which would be downright embarrassing for their company. When i inspected the work after they left for the day, I found 3 minor issues to be fixed. I took pictures of them and sent them to the saleslady, Malak. Ali went out of his way to keep us informed of the timeline (letting us know when to expect materials, find an install range that worked for us, and checking in throughout). As far as the finished results, we could not be happier. The new carpet is so plush and comfortable. The railings completely transformed the look of our home. Ali offered suggestions when asked (he really knows his stuff), but made sure we knew that the final decision was ours. I hired Footprint Floors for a basic luxury vinyl plant (LVP) installation for around 600 sq/ft…read moreincluding a staircase. The project went poorly at every stage and the issues went unresolved despite multiple crew visits. Before you consider this company: Footprint Floors does not do any of the work themselves. They are essentially a broker - they produce a quote, then subcontract both the materials and the installation. You will get assigned a junior level project manager to usher around the subcontractor that is probably getting paid 20% of what you paid Footprint Floors. You are not hiring the company you signed the contract with; you are hiring whichever crew they assign that week. Here are some issues from my small job - which I can imagine would be a true nightmare for a larger project: Quoting and materials: The initial quote over-ordered materials by more than $600. Their supplier, Revel Woods, does not accept returns, so I was left bearing the cost of their estimating error. Installation quality: Baseboards, trim, quarter round, LVP planks, and edge work were installed with wrong cuts, visible gaps, sloppy finishing, and damaged or improperly nailed pieces. The stairs are the most serious problem - they are still not installed to the manufacturer's specifications. Rather than re-cutting the treads correctly, the crews nailed and glued them down and attributed the result to the diagnosis of 'uneven stairs'. Each subsequent crew repeated similar workarounds instead of correcting the underlying cuts. Three stair nosings fell off after they left and said they were 'done'. Personnel: 3 different crews came to my home over the course of the project, each inexperienced in different ways. Twice they moved days after I called off for them to arrive, the other days they did not arrive in the window of time. Communication with the project manager did not resolve the recurring quality issues, and escalation up to the owner (Adnan) produced no meaningful remedy. All three crews did not have any of the right tools, supplies, or what they needed to complete the project properly. Avoid at all costs. I would not recommend them for any installation or job at any of my properties.
