He double booked our move, so we had 2 individuals moving our stuff instead of 4. Claims that his moving services were always quoted for 2 men and 1 truck. Then what's the point of taking an inventory of what items we have? What's the point doing that if you don't plan to send additional movers? Aside from that, if I hadn't gone out of my way to protect my stuff from getting dented, scratched, or scuffed, it would most likely have gotten destroyed during the move. It's also really irritating that our desk chairs were damaged because for some reason they decided to roll them on the sidewalk instead of picking them up. The move wasn't even a long distance, they didn't have to carry anything except furniture and maybe 10 boxes. It wasn't even a big move, it was 15 minutes across town. We were booked for 5 hours, they charged us for 6 hours, which of course it took this long without the appropriate amount of movers. Realistically, this move should've taken a maximum of 3-4 hours with the appropriate resources. If you're looking for a moving company, look somewhere else. This is an overpriced criminal business operating as a moving service.

Our couch was in immaculate shape until they apparently stuffed it sideways on its end and got some type of stains on it while moving it. Our TVs were just thrown in the storage unit sideways. We were looking for other moving companies because of the HORRIBLE job that was done and due to the fact that in the past a worker at Road Runners got caught digging through my grandmother's purse. It seems like he doesn't appreciate or value his customers or take HIS customers complaints seriously. Right is right and wrong is wrong period. I don't understand why someone who is supposed to be professional would treat people who pay them good money that way and not want to fix their mistakes. He also called me about two hours ahead of the scheduled time and told me they were on the way because he didn't want his workers standing around on his watch doing nothing. I am assuming he wanted them to be standing around on our time doing nothing instead... We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED WITH THE WAY OUR BELONGINGS WERE DAMAGED AND HOW RUDELY WE WERE TREATED AND BLATANTLY IGNORED when we brought it to the owners attention WITH photo evidence of some of the damages. Furthermore, Jorge would ignore my calls and take weeks to respond to a text message. Two months later he has failed to do anything he said he would, and only provided me with excuses has to why he couldn't do what he said he would. Josh, the owner wouldn't return my calls after I shared my concerns the first time with him. He has dishonest people working for him and he doesn't care about the mess his company left me with. On a positive note, his receptionist Amy was the only person that listened to me and I basically had to go through her to leave these messages with Josh because he didn't want to take responsibility. I contracted Lighthouse for 4 small projects. -Small drywall repair -Small Baseboard replacement -Fill a small dirt hole w/ cement inside my wall $350 -Paint my child's room $440 The employee responsible for doing the actual work didn't show me where he filled in the dirt hole with cement before closing up the wall. After reviewing my door cameras, I saw that he never even entered my home with cement repair material. I became suspicious that he didn't do the work Lighthouse invoiced me for. The baseboard work doesn't line up. There are gaps where they are supposed to join flush and the baseboards are not level. The paint job as you can see has thick clumps, dried drips and streaks all over. The whole room is like this and pictures don't do justice as in person. I can see through the thin coats of paint to the color that was there before. The only decent work was the drywall replacement but my husband had to cut it back open because they tried billing us $350 for cement was not applied and dirt hole was left untouched. When I was able to talk to Josh before he started to ignore my messages, I told him about the terrible paint job and the hole not being filled he got very defensive. He told me his worker wouldn't lie about the work being done and told me they have a receipt for the cement they purchased. I told him just because you have a receipt for cement being purchased doesn't mean anything. My video footage doesn't lie. He also tried to send the same guy back to me to fix the paint job, but after seeing his work and him lying to me, I expressed I didn't want him back in my home. It would make for a very awkward situation. I requested for another worker to come out, but Josh refused to send anyone else. Josh will not take responsibility for the damages on my walls. He will not address the issues. I had beg to get a call back which he never did. I told the receptionist to just let me get on with my life and request a refund of my deposits. They did that. It's sad because my homeowners insurance was willing to pay them however much for the work. I honestly think I only reason I got my money back is because I told them USAA take these matters seriously. Because it's hard to find handymen in the area at the moment, now I'm left with doing all this work on my own. It's going to take a long time for me to sand the textures and drips off the wall, fix the baseboard, drywall, etc. So my advice to anyone reading this, the photos speak for itself. My opinion is that Lighthouse is not a company to trust as I've been lied to and almost taken advantage of. I wouldn't trust them with any of the offerings they have on their website.
