Weight?? I couldn't care less what my refundables weigh. I expect to get back every nickle and dime refundable DEPOSIT that I paid upon purchase, usually 5 cents or 10 cents per item. The cans and bottles are clearly marked regarding their CA refundable status. Those that are NOT marked with a CA redemption logo? Cool, and while I willingly pay the full price for container-items that do NOT qualify as refundable, I have no intention of overpaying for containers when I have a refund coming. I return them to a business that pays me what I already spent. Oh, wait, there are scavengers who patrol the streets and trash bins for "recyclables" to save for an Egg-McMuffin payday. That's preposterously inhumane, but way beyond my pay grade. There most assuredly is a better way, should our angelic powers-that-be care to find one.

There isn't really parking in the area but I managed to find street parking nearby. It is located near La Estrella restaurant. There is no office to walk into or a building. I passed by the backyard garage area and saw a man. I asked if he was with the company and he said yes and I showed him the batteries I had and he said he could take them. It was a relief to get them off my hands and to find a place that takes them and can dispose of it safely. I took pictures so others can hopefully find the place.

This place seems a lot cleaner than other centers which is always nice. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the parking situation, there's not a lot of it but you can always park in the adjacent lot and drag your recycling over I guess.

When i get there( i recycle 2or 3 times a week) if i see the woman i just completely turn around and don't even bother. I will wait it out to get proper value for my stuff. One day i recorded her giving me less than half of the value for the weight i brought in... right after thanksgiving and i brought in a lot, and she rooked me like $20 roughly. She's gotten me like 4 times. Then another time she chosed at 430pm right when i got there and told me too bad they were close. Another time she told me she didn't have money to give out. It is for this reason that I checked Yelp for any other recycling places close to me. This place popped up and after reading the reviews, I decided to check it out. As soon as I drove to the entrance, the staff immediately directed me where to park and started unloading my recyclables without me asking for help. They sorted it and weighed it after. I headed to the cashier and got my deposit back. Service was really fast so I was in and out very quickly. The place is clean and very organized. Bins are kept clean as well. I highly recommend this place.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but today's experience deserves a warning to others…read more I scheduled a 40-yard container with clear instructions (confirmed with Melissa) to drop on the street in front of the mailbox--not on my driveway--and to call before arrival. The driver never called, then ignored instructions and dumped the container on my driveway, leaving visible damage. When I called the office, I was first met with denials, until the driver himself admitted the container caused the damage. Even after that, the response was slow and dismissive, with no real plan to make it right. I had to chase them for basic accountability. Bottom line: Poor communication, disregard for customer instructions, property damage, and a frustrating runaround afterward. If you value your property and time, look elsewhere or get everything in writing with photos/video before they arrive. What I expected: * A quick call before arriving (as promised) * Drop placement on the street per the order * Professional handling and ownership when a mistake happens What I got: * No call, wrong placement, driveway damage, and initial denial I'm giving them a chance to resolve this in good faith, but based on today, I cannot recommend 365 Disposal & Recycling
