Simply redeeming an accumulation of recyclable beverage containers…read more I'm not particularly stupid but I have not been able to find their location. I still have my returnables in my car. Weight?? I couldn't care less what my refundables weigh. I expect to get back every nickle and dime refundable DEPOSIT that I paid upon purchase, usually 5 cents or 10 cents per item. The cans and bottles are clearly marked regarding their CA refundable status. Those that are NOT marked with a CA redemption logo? Cool, and while I willingly pay the full price for container-items that do NOT qualify as refundable, I have no intention of overpaying for containers when I have a refund coming. I return them to a business that pays me what I already spent. Oh, wait, there are scavengers who patrol the streets and trash bins for "recyclables" to save for an Egg-McMuffin payday. That's preposterously inhumane, but way beyond my pay grade. There most assuredly is a better way, should our angelic powers-that-be care to find one.

I was looking for an ewaste place to dispose of a vacuum battery and regular AA batteries…read more I called ahead and the guy told me they accept batteries as long as it is lithium batteries. There isn't really parking in the area but I managed to find street parking nearby. It is located near La Estrella restaurant. There is no office to walk into or a building. I passed by the backyard garage area and saw a man. I asked if he was with the company and he said yes and I showed him the batteries I had and he said he could take them. It was a relief to get them off my hands and to find a place that takes them and can dispose of it safely. I took pictures so others can hopefully find the place.

After having a few bad experiences at another recycling center, I found this place and I'm so glad…read moreI did. The customer service is great, the people are helpful and friendly. This place seems a lot cleaner than other centers which is always nice. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the parking situation, there's not a lot of it but you can always park in the adjacent lot and drag your recycling over I guess.

I came by a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not sure if the business has changed ownership, but my…read moreexperiences with the previous management were terrible. The customer service was consistently poor, and I often felt like I was being taken advantage of rather than treated fairly as a customer. On past visits, there was also a younger employee who would yell at customers and speak to them in a very disrespectful and unprofessional way. Overall, my previous experiences left a very negative impression, and I hope that if there has been a change in ownership or management, the way customers are treated has improved.

No sirve el lugar!!!! ZERO STARS!!!!!…read moreThis place sucks !!!! They're rude right from the start with the ignorant attendant. They don't know how to talk to people they have a slot where you slide a piece of paper with your recycling results and you cant see who is back there. They have like four rude signs saying "if you don't know what your doing don't knock!!!" "I don't know you are here" maybe if you had a window instead of a piece of plywood you would be able to see your customers..The worst place period!!!! Ignorance just plain ignorance....not everyone should be in business....

If you go when the male employees are there you really have a good experience however there is one…read morefemale that works there and she will barely give you half of what you should get. When i get there( i recycle 2or 3 times a week) if i see the woman i just completely turn around and don't even bother. I will wait it out to get proper value for my stuff. One day i recorded her giving me less than half of the value for the weight i brought in... right after thanksgiving and i brought in a lot, and she rooked me like $20 roughly. She's gotten me like 4 times. Then another time she chosed at 430pm right when i got there and told me too bad they were close. Another time she told me she didn't have money to give out. I dont know man I recycle a whole bunch so she puts a damper on my hopes and i can't recommend it then- but the place is really good when she's not working

This is a business ran by…read morea hard working immigrant who is pleasant, doesn't bemoan his station in life and does a simple task which is - "Take your bottles and cans and give you money for them." In a place like this, there does not have to be an air conditioned lounge, with a DJ and cookies and doughnuts.... It is just testament to how utter stupid people are these days to give this gentleman a 1 start because his snooty opinion of what the guy has put in his mind something negative. If the Yeti idiot wanted so much "flaire" for the guys business - why doesn't he go back and offer to buy the guy a 20 x 50 foot banner and all the trimmings that would decorate a high end car dealership? I support a decision to get rid of or rate and humiliate complainers and scientifically proven to be stupid people - like in Jerry McGuire - Who's coming with me.. ? This guy's business is fine - if you have cans and bottles to get rid of - take them there and the man that runs the place will treat you with respect and do his job.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but today's experience deserves a warning to others…read more I scheduled a 40-yard container with clear instructions (confirmed with Melissa) to drop on the street in front of the mailbox--not on my driveway--and to call before arrival. The driver never called, then ignored instructions and dumped the container on my driveway, leaving visible damage. When I called the office, I was first met with denials, until the driver himself admitted the container caused the damage. Even after that, the response was slow and dismissive, with no real plan to make it right. I had to chase them for basic accountability. Bottom line: Poor communication, disregard for customer instructions, property damage, and a frustrating runaround afterward. If you value your property and time, look elsewhere or get everything in writing with photos/video before they arrive. What I expected: * A quick call before arriving (as promised) * Drop placement on the street per the order * Professional handling and ownership when a mistake happens What I got: * No call, wrong placement, driveway damage, and initial denial I'm giving them a chance to resolve this in good faith, but based on today, I cannot recommend 365 Disposal & Recycling
