Despite the quote mentioning spot sanding, I saw no evidence of that. It seems that they just painted over flaking paint after some scraping. Despite the quote saying that they would apply "up to" three coats of paint, I saw no evidence of l multiple coats or priming. I had to call them back out to address some problems once, and the pictures show issues that still remain. I don't want to hire a company to do a job and then have to be the quality control. They also left my screens off the windows, which is just an annoyance, and shows--in my opinion--that there's no internal quality control. I just paid them instead of trying to call them back out again, but they won't be my go-to painters, which is unfortunate because again, Tep seems like a nice guy. I was impressed by the positive reviews, but I also noticed that most of them were a long time ago. Maybe they've lost the fire, or maybe they're having issues with their labor.

The work was done very professionally and the end result is beautiful. They repaired our corner beads, including knock-down texturing of the repaired areas. This is pretty difficult and was done very well. The painting of several rooms and our staircase was completed on schedule and very well. We also have to compliment them on the clean up. The outside still needs the driveway replaced. I called for a few estimates and settled on The Handyman Stop. I had already had him renovate and paint my outside storage shed, (you can my before, green shed and after, white with blue trim pictures, see it on this site). It was in sad shape. Peter and Pop's, did an outstanding job with that task, so I decided to give him a shot at my bathroom. They did not disappoint us. When he removed the old cabinet, (which he carried away at no extra charge), we found out the underside floor had to have tile laid, for it was Old 80's linoleum, which we expected. Peter went right to work laying the tile I supplied. The next day he returned and completed the job. The new cabinet was damaged on one side and he repaired it so you would never see the damage. After the cabinent was installed, it required a few minor modifications to provide a perfect fit. Peter did a outstanding job taking care of this. The finished product as you can see was perfection. My Wife and I are very satisfied with the instalation. Our 89 house has been updated throughout to come up to the 1920's Era and we are completely satisfied our house update project is finally completed inside. We also had the roof replaced, but that is for another review. Peter's The Handyman Stop business is a small family operated one, but don't let that deter you. I think I have found our Handyman we can trust to do it right the first time and obstacles he may run into dosn't stop his determination to satisfy his customer.
