    Executive Auto Repair of Marco

My wife and I are snowbirds from the Midwest and was at a farmers market in Marco Island. When I…read morewent to start my Truck, it wouldn't start. We called roadside assistance and they sent a wrecker. Jose was the driver and arrived within 30 mins and very helpful. He tried everything first, jump the battery, messed with the security system and finally determined we needed a new starter. He towed my truck to Executive Auto repair for only $60. Shawn told me he would try to get a starter that day and have it put in so we didn't have to rent a car or get a ride. They installed the starter but unfortunately the starter was bad but good enough to start the truck so we went back to our campsite. The next morning a new starter came in at 10 o'clock and by 12 o'clock the auto shop had my truck running good as new. I really appreciated Jose and his quick response time and I appreciated Shawn working with us trying to get it done as soon as possible. Also it was at a fair price. I would use executive Auto for all of my needs if I lived in the area.

Because Gerber's lot was completely packed, I briefly pulled into the neighboring Executive Auto lot to access my car. What happened next was beyond unacceptable. The owner of Executive Auto deliberately blocked my driver's side door with a tow truck, leaving barely two inches of space. I had to climb in through the passenger side and exit through the back of his property just to leave. He then chased me down the street, screaming profanities and even calling me a vile name no business owner should ever utter to anyone. This behavior was aggressive, hostile, and completely unprofessional. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially when dealing with the stress of a car accident. I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with Executive Auto. Respect and basic decency clearly do not exist here.

I took my wife's car to Happy Wallet because of their inexpensive oil change specials. Though we…read morehad an appointment we were told it was going to be approximately an hour and a half wait. This seemed like an unusually high amount of time for an oil change for someone who had an appointment. But we waited. Finally, the car was brought back to us with a laundry list of repairs they said it needed. We refuse the repairs, paid the bill and drove it home. The next day we started noticing oil spots underneath the car. At first, I thought maybe this was just residual oil that spilled on the frame or something with the oil change but as time continued, the spots kept getting bigger and bigger. See the picture below. Finally we took it to our mechanic to see what was the issue. He reported that first of all the wrong size oil filter was used on her vehicle. Secondly, when he removed that filter, he found where they had tightened it with probably a metal tool and put a small hole into the filter. This was the cause of the leak. The fix was in essence another oil change using the correct filter. We also had him go over the list of suggested repairs. He found no other issues with the vehicle. In full disclosure, Happy Wallet did refund what they charged me for the oil change. It was a nice gesture, but still didn't cover the time, diagnostic, and repair fees of my mechanic and what could've been catastrophic damage to my wife's engine. **Note** I was willing to give Happy Wallet a second chance. I called and scheduled an appointment for an oil change with Gloria for July 8th at 10:00 AM. Imagine my disbelief when I walked in and they couldn't find me on the schedule. I was told I could wait an hour and a half or come back at a later time. I just turned and walked out.
