There was no attendent in sight, so I selected a room and went in. There were clothes hanging inside the changing room, but that was not unusual as garments are often left in changing rooms when the attendents are no where to be found. A short time later, there was a rap at the door and the attendent says "Ma'am, that room is taken". I replied, "It was empty when I entered", to which she asked me if I was dressed because she had been putting clothes in that room for someone else to try on and if nothing else, I needed to at least let her in to retrieve them. Her behaviour was expremely rude and embarrassing. I dressed myself, vacated the dressing room, and advised the clierk that I would be spending my money elsewhere. I sent an e-mail to Dillards regarding this incident and I did recieve a phone call from the store manager. He apologized profusely and advised me that he would address this with his staff. The fact that the store manager responded to quickly and promised to address the situation restores my faith in Dillards.

Here is my experience: Customer Service: 9.57/10 From the time I walked in the door to the time I checked out, the customer service was stellar. Everyone was so nice and the employees were conversational. They offered to help customers get items during checkout and the store was clean and organized. It was refreshing to see everyone happy and enjoying their jobs. It was also a plus that they were fully staffed. I felt comfortable my entire visit. Diversity: 9.57/10 It was lovely to see a diverse staff working this location. Compared to the Oak Park location, they are a step ahead on this. Honestly, this was a surprise to me, as that is something I did not observe previously. Selection: 8/10 They had a decent selection but you can tell it was slightly picked over from the last couple of days. I was able to find what I needed without any issues. They also have affordable gift bags and sets for different occasions. A win! Location: 7/10 This location is near Blackbob and 119th-the same strip mall as Whole Foods, Ulta, and Home Goods; which can get pretty busy. Luckily, my visit was earlier in the day so parking or crowds were not an issue. Overall: 9.75/10 I really enjoyed today's visit and the sale they had. It does seem like their body washes and lotions have increased in price, but I like that they are keeping customer favorites around instead of discontinuing them every quarter. I look forward to the next visit!

This is my experience at this location and with an assistant manager and using credit card points…read moreto get gift cards to use at Bath and Body: I got these gift cards on a Tuesday before I went to this location the first time which was a Wednesday. My boyfriend had points on his credit card for spending so much money on it. So with the points we got $200 in gift cards so that I could go shopping for hand soaps with it. I was only there for the necessities that I need for the house, and a couple things that I am really wanting I live in Paola and work 6am to 6pm I'm not there to make grief, I'm wanting to get in and out so I can go too bed by 9pm. I go in there I pick everything out, this lady swiped my 4 gift cards 4-5 times each. But, anytime they were swiping the gift cards it was taking the money off the total. They tell me that there machines must be down. I understood that, so they tell me to come back the next day and they were gonna call customer service and figure it out. So I do, I'm waiting behind 2 other customers, the girls at the register had gift cards! They used them no questions, didn't tell them to come back tomorrow. They went through just fine. It's my turn to do the whole checking out my items for the second time. They start swiping away trying to "figure out what's wrong with these specific gift cards." They end up calling customer service again to figure out why it's not working. Now this same lady I had the previous day (she was the one who swiped my card 4-5 times) is telling me that there's no money on these cards and to come back on Friday to go through the same trouble. This lady was pretty much telling me to ask around and make sure they were activated thinking I might've stole them if I'm having this much issues. I confront this lady and tell them, "that's funny, I just came in here yesterday with $200 on these cards ready to purchase my items I chose, I checked them. I come back in and conveniently there's now no money on my cards. Your machine took the money." Of course she's telling me that they'd never do that, questioning me if I was sure that these were activated cards, she ends up calling customer service AGAIN. She ends up telling me to write my email and they're giving me my money back with e-gift cards. Perfect situation, right? You'd be asking yourself why I only gave them 1 star and not 5 because they "took care of the situation" I only got partial money back. They lost 3 loyal customers to this Bath and Body we will not be shopping at this location again. We'll make the effort to drive the extra 10 minutes to get to the Oak Park Mall location. They at least know how to use gift cards, but they did know how because they literally had customers IN FRONT OF ME that used their gift cards without ANY ISSUES. Please take my advice and learn how to look back at transactions so you don't have to call customer service 4 times. Saves ya'll the trouble and hassle. Funny part is, is this lady claimed to be an assistant manager. You'd think somebody in that store would know how to look back at months even years of transactions, just to make sure that the machine didn't take the money. Hope people never have to live through the anxiety and very stressful experience I had to experience with you guys all because no one was willing to look at transactions just to at least make sure somebody is making a mistake in the situation. Might've saved some time.

We went on New Year's day, so the store was empty. As I walked around the store, I saw a good mix of new and old inventory throughout the store. Most apparels had good availability of sizes. The store had up to 70% sale on various products. In the men's section I found hoodies (under $30), sweatshirts (under $30), dress shirts (under $15) and t-shits (under $20) for decent price. I tried couple of the items. The fitting room area was well maintained. There were multiple staff members at the store who were assisting customers and also tidying up the store. Overall it is a nice store and but the inventory can be better.

That being said, this shop is massively stocked which I love. Rows and rows of beautiful wigs ,hair pieces, just about everything you want to purchase for hair they have it. Combs brushes, styling equipment ,makeup jewelry, clothing, you name it they got it I seen the two negative reviews and I'm sure that they are correct in finding the practices and the people who work there being racist. I've had that problem at other Asian beauty supply stores. More than likely if I come back, I will be testing whether I am treated as a customer who's willing to spend money or whether I'm just treated as another black person who needs to be watched. This review is strictly on what I witnessed today, I love how I can get through the Isles without stepping over things. I love how things are sitting up high so that I get a clear view of everything that they have to offer. And I was not followed around in the store, now that may have something to do with the security cameras I saw all over the store oh, but you have to look up to find them. But in other beauty supply stores I have been followed by other Asian store owners who act like they're restocking stuff when in actuality they're watching me. I didn't run into that this time. It felt good to freely walk the isles and check out the merchandise without someone making me feel like i was on an episode of cops. I even spoke to the old Asian lady behind the counter and told her that I was not from the area and more than likely would come back because where I live there is no beauty supply store. She appeared to be friendly and cordial, and even said she'd like for me to come again. I reserve whether my review will ever change, it depends on my next visit but, for my first time here, I was quite impressed
