After hitting nearly every other men's retailer in the Summit and finding nothing but gear with massive logos across the chest, I stopped in at this place. I was immediately greeted by the staff and was asked if I needed help. The place truly looks like a place where people who spend time in the outdoors shop, so I was kind of happy to be there. After looking around for a few minutes I found a rack with some awesome bamboo hoodies from a company called Free Fly. I'd never heard of the company, but I immediately thought it was one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I've ever felt. It was reasonably priced so I bought it, and wore it pretty much the entire time I was in Birmingham. Perhaps an even higher testament to the quality of the product was this: as soon as I flew home my wife felt the hoodie, and immediately claimed it as her own. I can't wait to come back to Birmingham and visit this place a) because it's a pretty cool store, and b) so I can buy a hoodie of my own.

A gentleman immediately greeted me and began to answer my questions. Even though I was there for the shoes, I wanted to wander around for a bit and see what all they had. It's the kind of store where you want one of everything. Once I was done window shopping, I settled down in the shoe section. Several staff members helped me through the process and did a full "foot evaluation." This is where they measure you and make you walk, so they can tell exactly what brand and size is best for you. Turns out, they didn't have the best shoe for me at this location. Bummer, right?... Not so fast. They quickly called the Homewood location and had them hold a pair of the perfect shoes for me. I didn't leave this location empty handed. I found some great running socks that have been with me (and in my washing machine) ever since.

From dress pants to numerous sweaters, my closet is filled with Tommy Hilfiger. The best thing about Tommy is that they send me seasonal coupons in the mail, usually for about 20% off. If you sign up for their mailings, you will also get a birthday gift every year. The best gift I've gotten from them was a gift card. I think it was $25 for anything in the store I wanted, so I always look forward to that every year. Happy shopping!

Their shoes & purse section could be a little better but they can only sell what they get. AM called a customer a ho because she left a bag of groceries by accident at the counter where we all visited because her cash register was the only one open, and I will no longer shop at this store location because they do not appreciate or value there paying customers. Not happy customer's should never go into this location ofdollars tree stores and hopefully they will close this store location or fire all those unruly employees who don't apprentice dollar tree paying customers.

The lady told me they only exchange not return items. I was disappointed but since I pick up small token gifts from there anyway I could make it work. I was the last customer in the store and the transaction got complicated. The manager and another employee were so helpful, nice and keep a pleasant tone. Then I couldn't find my keys. The guard found them on the shelves I was on. They all were outstanding and I left happy. If only this was the normal for stores rather than rare. This is now my favorite store. Kudos to all three of them.

She was very perturbed by us walking in. I had already emailed the company beforehand asking if I needed to make an appointment to come by and they responded no. I stopped in well before their closing hour of 4 PM. There's something called "customer service" and she knows nothing about it.
