I'm always game for a new local boutique and this one was pricey for the area, decorated well, and had super great quality leather goods. Being in the style and fashion industry, I 100% understand her markup on her clothing and I am very familiar with the brands she carries for goods and clothing and accessories and she has them priced at the correct price point. While this super cute boutique is in the middle of a very small town, I think it's a great addition to the town and there has to be a higher end boutique available for those that want something a little different and higher quality. She carries fabulous items, and I throughly enjoyed her selection of handbags, kitschy tees, and shoes. It could've been the day but it would've been nice if music was playing in such a big space. I've worked with them several times over the years to consign some gently used clothes that no longer fit into my life. Rather than donating everything, I see what the Bargain Lady will accept and I always make a little money back. They take what they think they can sell in the season and their policy is fair and reasonable. You make 50% of the selling price and they have a great system where you can track the sells from your account online. They mark down anything that doesn't sell at regular intervals and after some time, you can opt to pick up anything that hasn't sold, otherwise they donate it to a great non-profit thrift shop in town. Whether you're shopping on a budget or looking to make a little money back without a hassle, the Bargain Lady will meet your needs!
