I'm always game for a new local boutique and this one was pricey for the area, decorated well, and had super great quality leather goods. Being in the style and fashion industry, I 100% understand her markup on her clothing and I am very familiar with the brands she carries for goods and clothing and accessories and she has them priced at the correct price point. While this super cute boutique is in the middle of a very small town, I think it's a great addition to the town and there has to be a higher end boutique available for those that want something a little different and higher quality. She carries fabulous items, and I throughly enjoyed her selection of handbags, kitschy tees, and shoes. It could've been the day but it would've been nice if music was playing in such a big space. There wasn't any music on which made it feel awkward while browsing but I am aware of tech issues and it could've been that. I'm glad I stopped in on my road trip and I'll be back again.

I've worked with them several times over the years to consign some gently used clothes that no longer fit into my life. Rather than donating everything, I see what the Bargain Lady will accept and I always make a little money back. They take what they think they can sell in the season and their policy is fair and reasonable. You make 50% of the selling price and they have a great system where you can track the sells from your account online. They mark down anything that doesn't sell at regular intervals and after some time, you can opt to pick up anything that hasn't sold, otherwise they donate it to a great non-profit thrift shop in town. Whether you're shopping on a budget or looking to make a little money back without a hassle, the Bargain Lady will meet your needs!

We were the only customers in the store at the time, so it was especially noticeable that no one made any effort to welcome us or offer assistance. I found an item of clothing I wanted to try on and went to the dressing room, only to find it full of clothing that previous customers had tried on. Items were hanging on the hooks and scattered all over the floor. The dressing room clearly had not been checked or cleaned. I continued looking around the store and was never approached by an employee to ask if I needed assistance. Eventually, I decided to leave without making a purchase. As I was walking out the door, one of the employees said, "You should try Sharps; they have sales going on," while another employee added, "Or Ross or TJ Maxx." I responded, "Wow, look at you pushing customers to other stores. How nice." I have never experienced customer service quite like this. Rather than trying to assist a customer or make a sale, the employees essentially suggested that we shop somewhere else. Unfortunately, the entire experience left me with the impression that customers are being judged when they walk through the door rather than welcomed and treated with respect. Regardless of how someone looks or what they are wearing, every customer deserves professional, courteous, and respectful treatment. Management should take a serious look at the customer service being provided in this store and consider whether employees are being properly trained on how to interact with customers. Based on other reviews, it appears that customer service may be an ongoing concern at this location. I would not recommend this Boot Barn location based on my experience. I certainly will not be returning.
