We were both so impressed with the way Christina showed off the epic scenery while also showcasing us as a couple. Christina has such an amazing combination of creativity and professionalism. Locking down the date for the wedding turned out to be a hassle due to closures at Sequoia all Spring, yet Christina just planned out several backup plans and we felt so much better. Her expert knowledge of the area and years of experience shooting elopements in the mountains helped immensely as we dealt with the park's uncertainty. She's an expert communicator and planner who can give you an agenda for the whole day if you want, or can be very flexible and accommodating to our own plans. She really cared about our unique ideas and wanted to collaborate. In the end, all her planning paid off and our wedding adventure went off without a hitch! Our photos are truly amazing and authentic to our special day, and I know they're going to bring us joy forever.

My wife and I had an amazing experience working with Peter @ A Fierce Love. From start to finish,…read morePeter made us feel relaxed and comfortable with our elopement by providing support, suggestions for photos, and overall just being awesome and joyful through the whole day. I had a hard time getting my bow tie tied, and was a bit stressed about not being ready in time, but Peter stepped up and helped me get my bow tie just right. That was such a blessing and is one small example of how he really made us feel comfortable and taken care of during our big day. We had a blast traveling to different spots in Sequoia with Peter to take tons of amazing photos. Every person who's seen our photos say they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen, and now we tell all our unmarried friends to seriously consider eloping and traveling to a national park with A Fierce Love whenever they decide to elope.

A couple of years ago, we went to a wedding where Peter was the photographer. When the newly weds…read moreshared the wedding photos with us a month or so later, we were blown away. We loved the natural style of the photography, and the dance floor pictures were INSANE. Fast forward two years later, and it was our turn to get married. We absolutely did not shop around, we knew we wanted Peter to photograph our day. Peter is awesome, simply put. He arrived on our wedding day a good hour earlier than the start of the contract, just to walk around and snap shots of the premises. He was so visibly excited about the beauty of the location, you could just tell he was really having fun and was excited to snap some good shots. We caught Peter running around snapping candid and thoughtful shots. He seriously captured everything we would have wanted him to capture, and we never gave him any direction of what we wanted photographed! Of course, the dance floor pictures were incredible. Peter has this technique that makes the dancing pictures absolutely come to life. He was also dancing with everyone and just having a really good time. The day after our wedding, so many of our guests were asking about this mysterious bearded photographer who was having a blast, haha! I can't thank Peter enough. I wouldn't hesitate for a second if you're thinking of working with A Fierce Love photography.

We were completely surprised when she came up to us afterward to say congratulations and let us know she'd taken some photos of our special moment. Then, she offered to do a mini photoshoot right then and there since her other client was running late--how could we say no? The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous, and Kelsey made us feel so comfortable, even giving us tips on how to pose. That's when we knew: she was going to be our wedding photographer. Working with Kelsey has been such a breeze. She's super responsive, always easy to reach, and her attention to detail is just next-level. She put together this incredibly detailed photography schedule for our wedding day, which made everything run so smoothly. Plus, her calming and kind personality put everyone at ease, which really shows in the photos. Her team was just as awesome, capturing every important moment perfectly. We got a sneak peek of our photos before we even left for our honeymoon, which was such a sweet surprise! And when we got the full gallery, we were blown away by how beautiful and creative the shots were--she even took some Polaroids and framed them around a slice of our wedding cake, which was so cool. If you're looking for a photographer, I can't recommend Kelsey enough. She's talented, professional, and just an all-around wonderful person to work with. You won't regret choosing her for your big day!

The parking lot was tiny and completely full, so we had to park several blocks away. I'll give them credit for the ambiance--it was pleasant. But let's talk about the food. It was, without exaggeration, one of the worst meals I've ever had. The catering company should be ashamed. They ran out of food and even ran out of plates. At $60 per person, I expected to enjoy a proper brunch with at least the option of seconds. The quality of the food was extremely disappointing--low-budget at best--and I wouldn't be surprised if they used powdered eggs. Our group was fairly large, yet we were split between two separate tables, and one of those tables was shared with a completely unrelated family. That just added to the awkwardness of the experience. If you're planning an event at this venue, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Not a single person in our group would return.
