I…read moreunderstand there can be some "decision paralysis" with frames, backgrounds, and presentation, but the folks at the Myers Park location made it a very smooth process. After deciding the "big" decisions: frame, background, and the floating piece look, I'm sure the folks did a lot of precise measuring and aligning to make the final product look amazing. I really appreciate the attention to detail as well as "working with" what I had brought in. I had make-shifted a collage in a frame (the frame still had the original commercial art in it... pretty sure it was from the 90s judging by the family and the clothing featured in the frame graphics that advertised the size of the frame etc). We kept the original news paper clippings as well as the photo copy (blown up) of one article. The biggest question was the thickness of the frame and my varsity letter (with pins) being able to fit within the frame I selected. The staff made a "plan b" just in case and had made notes to call me if plan A ran into some snags. Overall, so happy with the result! All I had to do was hang it up in my office since the hanging hardware (wire system) and finishing is all included.

Employees were inside, saw him standing there, and chose to ignore him. No one came to the door. No communication. Nothing. There is zero mention anywhere; not on their Google listing, not on their website, not even on their phone system--that they randomly shut down for lunch. That is completely unacceptable. If you're going to routinely close in the middle of the day, post your actual hours like every other professional business does. And what makes this even more infuriating is that this isn't new. I found multiple reviews from months ago saying the exact same thing. Customers locked out during business hours, ignored, and told after the fact that "we'll look into it." It's been half a year and clearly nothing has changed. You're not looking into anything, you're just wasting people's time and hoping no one calls you out. We will never return to this location, and frankly, neither should you. They do not respect your time, and they clearly don't care about fixing their own ongoing issues.

Each time, the stylist has been overbooked and so a ninety-minute appointment for color and cut took well beyond two hours. Once, they did the wrong color. They just called to tell us that the latest problem is that the stylist is sick. This for an appointment that was booked three months ago. I understand being sick and I'm glad he chose not to come to work. The issue is that the salon is so fully booked that they have no one else who can do this until at least 4pm today. And with what we've experienced before, that means at least three hours of hole in our afternoon when we had everything queued up for this morning appointment. I think at this point, it's time for me to help Mrs. K. find a new salon. Thankfully, we don't have some urgent party or event this evening where the color and cut were critical. I'm downgrading from four to three. They're fine for the products they sell, I'm no longer so sure about the services they offer. [Review 485 of 2026 - 4591 in North Carolina - 25667 overall]
