Frames Warehouse was quick with the intake and framing. I was quickly able to choose from a handful of frames and different glass/acrylics. I ended up upgrading to the museum acrylic. They handled my art well and it looks great! I have had 2 pieces of art framed myself and every piece came out great. I then referred my boyfriend to have some pieces of art framed he acquired during his travels. He asked for the pieces to be on top of thick pieces of foam to make the art pop out more. When we went to pick up the pieces, the art was not on any foam. The main framer Amy said it was not possible with the type of frame we picked. I was confused and asked why wouldn't they call to let us know? She was so defensive and hostile about it just not being possible. Her poor listening skills and hostility made it very difficult to communicate properly. We went in again to pick up the refinished piece but it still was only 0.25 inch foam and we asked for 0.5 inch. Again, Amy was stuck on the point that it wouldn't fit, the piece was already pressing against the glass and protruding. I was trying to make a point, why wouldn't anyone call and communicate this to us? Why are decisions being made for us instead of communicating properly and letting us know of the mistake? Instead of just trying to stick things together that we did not ask for and hope we won't notice. We stated to Amy exactly what we wanted. She refused to write anything down, stating she has it all in her mind. She is doing the piece and doesn't need to write anything down, yet answered my questions in a sarcastic way when I was just trying to clarify so we would avoid this issue again. Swore she would not forget us. 3rd time piece was better. Unfortunately it had Amy's negative energy all over it. I felt so bad for my boyfriend who now had to associate this beautiful art with her attitude. When we walked in, she said who are you?? Extremely passive aggressive. It's conflicting because on one hand I have had great experiences having pieces framed. My boyfriend on the other hand had a horrible experience with many different aspects of the store and framing process. Perhaps quality has gone down. read more

Mine is a tale of woe and a tale of whoa. I was given a print with an inscription from a favorite artist. Money being tight, I found a frame and mat at Michaels. It lasted about a week before it fell off the wall and shattered. That's my tale of woe. After reading reviews, I went to Frame Warehouse. They were very friendly. Found an already made frame, we selected a new mat and I splurged on the museum glass because my print has a lot of black and shadow work. I expected it to be very expensive. Instead, the total package was $110. The guy asked if I had 30 minutes and they went in back and put it together right there. I left my house a little more than 2 hours ago and now the print is hanging on my wall. Excellent service, great selection, and a fair price. That's my tale of whoa. read more

(Meaning that they frame pictures, portraits,certificates, medals, you get the picture) My little brother gifted me with a painting years ago and I am just now able to get it framed! Rachel was a huge help for me today assisting me With finding the best frame for my picture, the best background, and the best overall sizing for this beautiful masterpiece! Have been coming here since I've lived in Charlotte (Feb 2011). I've got to tell you that while they are not the "cheapest" prices in town, despite their claim, they do provide you with QUALITY frames and stand by their work! I've had MANY things framed by the Framed Warehouse. Certificates, Diplomas, Sports Posters, etc. And most recently, I had to have a French Cartography map custom framed and dry mounted (last year). When I noticed that a "bubble" appeared in the middle of one of the custom frames, I decided to finally take it back to them to have it re-dry mounted. They recognized the issue, and said that they would take care of the issue "no charge!" Now THAT was THE right answer! Overall, they provide quality work and really good service. Framing in general is expensive. Just recognize that if you're needing "custom" framing, it WILL set you back a few sheckles! However, dont' skimp on the $$$ IF what you're framing is worth something to you! These fine folks really do a great job, and STAND BY their work, as I have personally witnessed! So the Frame Warehouse is very recommended by this Yelper! read more

We came in looking for mirrors...BIG mirror sale going on...YAY! So dreading the thought of looking at thousands but Isaac asked what we were looking for and in no time it all we had 3 new mirrors. He was able to zero in on just what we were looking for saving us time and frustration. The prices were CRAZY good and he not only wrapped the mirrors for travel but also carried them out to our car.
